In this deeply personal and inspiring episode of *Eating for a Healthy Life*, we revisit the very beginnings of the podcast with episodes 1 and 2, where we first shared Moshira Soliman’s incredible journey from a life of confusion and chronic pain to becoming a beacon of hope in the world of nutrition and wellness. Moshira’s story is one of perseverance, resilience, and the powerful healing potential of food.

Moshira opens up about her early life as a businesswoman, running a successful mortgage company while tirelessly balancing her career and family life. But following the birth of her second son, she was faced with mysterious joint and body pains. Despite visiting multiple doctors over the course of three and a half years, every diagnosis was the same: “You’re just depressed.” But Moshira knew there was more going on. After a long and frustrating search, she was finally diagnosed with a high level of rheumatoid factor, signaling a deeper issue.

What followed was a harrowing experience with prescription medications, including an overmedication mistake that nearly cost Moshira her life. This episode tells the story of how, despite her worsening condition, Moshira found strength in the wisdom of her grandmother, who lived to 97 and believed that “if you just eat good, you will be good.” This simple yet profound piece of advice led Moshira to take control of her health through nutrition.

Now a clinical nutritionist and owner of Pureganic, Moshira has dedicated her life to sharing her story, helping others find health through food, and spreading the message of using nutrition as medicine.
