After tearing off a small square of paper from the bottom of the poster and calling the number, you would be transported into the world of Nonchalance and into a game of inter-dimensional hopscotch that saw people questioning reality, themselves and the world they lived in. You'd follow clues, make phone calls, get followed, realise an entire street with thousands of people was fake... It was a mind-bending experience and highly organised. Or was it? This week, Geordie looks at this bizarre institute and questions whether the entire set up was just highly complex immersive theatre, a real game that actually existed or whether it was an art hoax designed to blur the lines between fact and fiction with a fake documentary...
