The Quran and Sunnah constitute the two primary sources of Islamic Law. Within traditional circles this is an accepted axiom, however western academics, recently, have questioned the position , and the validity of preservation, of the Hadith. Such critique has also seeped its way inside the community and is being used by individuals to delegitimize and discredit hadith.
In this episode Dr. Iqbal Nadvi gives us a primer on hadith preservation and why modern criticisms of hadith are both lacking in substance and deficient in reason.
