Thank you Fujitsu General America for teaching us ways to customize our homes through smart home technology, energy efficiency, and eco-conscious home cooling choices.

Home cooling accounts for nearly half of home energy use and is responsible for nearly 100 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

Additionally, air conditioner energy expenses cost homeowners more than $11 billion a year, so even small steps can go a long way.

Mini-Split Heat Pumps are a great revamp on the home climate control technology that was widely used in the 1980s. Mini-split systems allow homeowners the flexibility and the control needed to fit in the nimble and modern lifestyle.

Fujitsu's Mini-Split Heat Pump system's top features include energy efficiency, individual room zoning, easy installation, and smart home compatible.

  • Energy Efficiency! Regular HVAC ducts lose energy and cool air during transfer. This can account for more than 30%  of energy consumption for space conditioning.
  • Individual Zoning per room! This is huge for landlords (because they all experience vacancy rates), empty nesters, those living with roommates, guest bedrooms, windows receiving different amounts of heat from the sun, room additions, retrofits, new construction, and energy efficient certified homes. Phew, that is a long list!
  • Easy Installation! Mini-splits only require a three inch hole in the wall that gives access to the outside for the condensation drain line.
  • Smart Home Tech! Fujitsu General America products can all be wireless and remote controlled!

Fujitsu also provides you with a rebate and energy calculator to see how much you could save on your monthly utility bills.

Our guest is Dennis Stinson, Vice President of Sales for Fujitsu General America, a national manufacturer with local distributors across the country, and 30-year industry veteran.
