Welcome to the ecommerce finance podcast. I'm your host Stephen Brown, COO of LedgerGurus, Fractional CFO, and co-owner of DTC brand Soleil Descant.

I love podcasts. I've been listening to them for over two decades, but I find a lack of depth on financial discussions around aspects of ecommerce.
For that reason, I want to bring this podcast to the world so that owners, operators, and others in ecommerce can have a better understanding of the financial implications of what they're doing in ecommerce.
The reality is everything in a business has a financial impact, and therefore every topic is on the table.

Now as for me, I've been around ecommerce for some time. LedgerGurus is a client accounting services business, also known as an outsourced accounting business, and we've specialized in ecommerce accounting since 2017.
I'm also co-owner of a direct-to-consumer brand Sole Toscana, which provides Italian organic skin care via a Shopify store.
Personally, I earned a degree in engineering and spent almost two decades in tech before going on this journey in accounting and ecommerce.

Along the way, I earned an MBA and have consulted with hundreds of companies as part of LedgerGurus.
Through other years with these two businesses, I've made many connections with experts in ecommerce.
My hope is to share my expertise as well as the expertise of many that I know to help you uplevel your understanding of finance and ecommerce.
