He co-hosts the and runs the NYU Summer Publishing Institute Digital Media Strategies program. He was formerly Managing Editor of PBS’ Next Avenue site, Executive Editor of Money for 19 years, and Special Projects Director of Good Housekeeping. He wrote How to Avoid a Midlife Financial Crisis and The Money Book of Personal Finance. He is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
