El Puente de Bacunayagua es una de las llamadas 7 Maravillas de Ingeniería Cubana, y claro que es un obra de la era republicana de Cuba, de antes de 1959. Forma parte de la autopista La Vía Blanca, que corre en el litoral Norte de La Isla, entre La Habana y el mundialmente célebre balneario de Varadero, ensartando antes a la ciudad de Matanzas, al Este de la capital. En este programa damos todos los detalles de la construcción del Puente de Bacunayagua, que aun hoy, a más de 60 años, ostenta el título del más alto del país, y es una magnifica pieza de Ingeniería Civil, que tuvo que desafiar, con la tecnología constructiva de su época, una orografía difícil.
