Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello, welcome to another episode of El Paso local
area businesses.
I'm here with Marco Sierra ofmobile notary, El Paso and
apostle services located atthousand 56 breezeway avenue in
El Paso, Texas 7 9 9 2 5.
Marco, how are you today?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I'm doing well.
How about you?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Pretty good.
Pretty good, man.
Thank you very much for asking.
Um, let's just get to it.
People wanna know what, whatkind of business do you guys do?
What do you guys services?
You offer stuff like that.
Obviously you do notary businessand it's mobile, right?

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yes, sir.
That is correct.
So we are a mobile notary andapostle service.
So, um, long story short, we, uh, we service all sorts of notary
services regarding medicaldocuments, um, medical part of
attorneys, living wills, uh,durable part of attorneys,
affidavits, um, anything in thatnature.
And we also, um, do, uh, apostleservices well, too.

(01:00):
And which, uh, what is anapostle basically is just a form
of a certification that, um, thereceiving country needs,
regardless of, um, the differentlanguage it needs in, if that
makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Got you.
Okay.
So, uh, when you get thoseApostol services, um, basically
they're just gonna get thisdocument translated and you send
something off to Austin, Texas.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yes.
Yes.
That is absolutely correct.
And it needs the, um, uh, justmake sure that it is in the
right language, in the correctformat and the, um, rice
certificate and wording for thedocument.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Awesome.
Awesome.
Okay, well, let's go ahead andget, start talking about the
notary business itself.
Uh, how much does it usuallycost to get a document notarized
through your

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Services?
So through the state of Texas,it's, uh,$6 per, um, for the
first document and a dollar peradditional document or signature
that needs to be notarized.
And then we do charge, uh, alittle bit of a, a notary, um,
mobile service fee, dependingwhere you're located in El Paso.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Okay, great.
That sounds about right.
Okay.
You guys are here on the eastside of El Paso, let's say, um,
we're over here at SullivanVista mall and you guys are
located over here on the eastside.
How much would it cost?
You say a trip charge to go tothe syllabus Vista mall here,
not Paso, Texas.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
So you're looking at around$25 for the whole service
fee, which, uh, we come to meetyou notarize the document, make
sure that the, uh, the notary iscorrect and the format is
correct, and you'll be all setto go.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Okay.
Um, you know, I know basicallywhat you're doing is you're just
witnessing signatures for themost part, is that correct?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Uh, that's what everybody basically thinks we
do.
We just make sure that it is theright certificate on the
document to go along with, uh,with the signature, but there's
a lot more behind, uh, a notaryas well too, to make sure that
it is a correct, uh, person whois signing the, uh, the
document.
So if it is John DOE had toverify it is John DOE signing

(03:01):
the document along with theproper identification to go
along with the document.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Right.
That's so my next question, whatkind of acceptable forms of ID,
uh, do you guys use

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Well, former a form most it has to be, um, it has to
be valid.
It can't be an expired, um, uh,identification, but
identification we do use is, uh,pretty much a driver's license,
an ID, uh, passport.
And if somehow you do not haveany of those.
We could also use a crediblewitness, which the state of
Texas allows us and the crediblewitness just has to, uh, solely

(03:36):
swear that it is the individualwho is signing the document and
the credible witness does haveto have their, um, uh, their ID
as well, too.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Okay.
And they of course have to havethe same type of valid
identification, correct?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yes.
That is absolutely correct.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Okay.
Well, um, let's see.
if I wanted to getsomething notarized, can I come
to your guys' office or do youguys just work remotely?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
No, obviously, uh, you could come to our office.
We are open, uh, Monday throughFriday.
Uh, we do close the doors atfive o'clock and then after that
we are appointment based only, and we work, um, all the way,
pretty much 24 hours a day.
So we'll be servicing the wholeEl Paso, um, uh, metroplex from
F to, um, to horizon all the wayto Anthony, Texas as well too.

(04:26):
So we, and we also meet ourcustomers at the bridge as well,
too.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Oh, okay, great.
You guys do bridge notaries.
What does that entail?
Like what kind of clientele, um,are you dealing with when you go
to the bridge?
Are these people trying to getmarried or what kind of
documents are you signing there?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
It, it, it just varies regarding when we do meet
our clients on the bridge.
So we, um, we have, um, we meet'em at all five locations on the
bridge ranging from Santa Febridge, the free bridge to the
Zago sub bridge.
And the, uh, paperwork justdepends on what the client
needs.
It could arrange anything fromreal estate documents to medical
documents or, uh, minor part ofattorney documents.

(05:04):
And this is basically justsaying that the, we did meet the
client on the bridge and theydid sign in front of a, a
notary.
And unfortunately the clientjust cannot cross over into the
United States.
So that's why we, we, uh, wemeet'em halfway and there's
really no big hassle foranybody.
It's pretty easy for them tomeet us on the bridge and they
could walk back on over.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Okay.
And you definitely keep recordsof all the notaries you do, like
in the little record book.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yes.
Yes.
We have everything.
Um, with my record book, I hadto, um, get them to sign the
document, what type ofidentification they used with me
and, uh, what type of forms werebeing notarized as well, too.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Sounds good.
Uh, anyway, mark, I just wannaknow, like, what else do you, uh
, want everybody to know aboutthis business?
Is there anything that pops tomind?
I have a few more questions foryou, but I think this would be a
good segue for you to just kindof talk about maybe a story or,

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Um, I love how every time we do meet a, a customer,
they, they, um, keep on continuto say, you guys are quick.
So we keep continue to use that,um, that phrase in our business,
that when you need anappointment done, we try to get
their as quick as possible.
And we are functional as welltoo.
And our customer service, uh,beats anybody here in El Paso

(06:18):
and I'll put my money on ourcustomer service with anybody
nationwide.
I like to continue to use theChick-fil-A customer service.
We walk in there with a smile.
We, we meet all your needs andyou'll be, um, fully satisfied
with everything that we do, um,do offer in our notary, uh,
mobile notary services.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
That's awesome.
Um, I do see you guys have avery high rating on, on Google
and on Facebook and stuff likethat.
So that, that that's reassuring.
Uh, what kind of hours do youguys are available?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
When we say 24 hours, we mean 24 hours.
So if you need something at one,uh, 1:00 PM and vice versa, if
you need something at 1:00 AM,we will be there for all your
needs.
Uh, even if you have your carimpounded and you do need that,
VSM form notarized, we'll ableto notarize that form for you.
Uh, we'll come straight to youwithout any headaches, and we'll

(07:10):
get that document notarized foryou.
And, um, we're able to just helpout the clients.
That's what this whole businessis about.
We put our clients first beforeanybody else.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
That's awesome.
So if somebody needs a notarynear you, you pretty much can
get to anywhere in El Paso in afairly short amount of time,
right?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I'll say within 30, 45 minutes, just depending on
traffic, but for the most part, you're looking at a 30, uh, 30
minutes if we don't have anappointment already, um, that's
why we say call in advance atyour appointment up.
And so there's no headaches and,um, um, we will be helping you
out that day.
There'll be no issues with that.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Well, that's amazing.
That's faster than a pizza ERY.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah.
Oh yes.
Definitely.
Definitely.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
So, all right, well, Marco, thank you so much for
popping in today.
Um, you know, just again, youguys are over here on, on
breezeway here in El Paso,Texas, Eric, uh, zip code 70 99,
25, and they do mobile notariesand apostle services and a
little bit of translationservices too, right?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yes.
If you do need anythingtranslated, we do have certified
, uh, translators.
If you wanna translate a SP adocument in Spanish to English,
we'll be able to help you outwith that as well too, does take
approximately about 48 hours, just depending on the
translations we do have, butyou're looking at a two day, uh,
window from, uh, getting thosedocuments back along with our
apostle service and obviouslywith our notary service as well

(08:31):
as too.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Great.
Thank you so much again, theseguys are El Paso notaries here
in El Paso.
They're licensed and bonded.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Yes, we are.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Okay.
And, um, if you ever need anotary here in El Paso or any
kind of apostle services, witness services, loan
documents, mortgage documents, these are the guys to go to.
I've used them myself to handlea vehicle, a sale of a car, and
it was as quick as convenient aspossible.
This is why I decided tointerview them.
And, uh, and again, thank you somuch for coming on in and doing

(09:01):
this interview.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
