Speaker 1 (00:01):
Three, four. Hello.
Welcome to another podcast ofEl Paso Local Area Business
Talk. I'm Sharif and I am herewith Jack of Traffic Ticket
Lawyers 9 1 5 here in El Paso,Texas. How are you today?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We're doing well.
How are you ? I'm

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Doing good. Thanks for asking and thanks for
coming on in. Uh , basicallyjust tell us a little bit about
your business. Actually firstgo ahead and let everybody know
, um, the name of your company, your website , um, how to get
ahold of you, all that goodstuff.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
So our company's name is Traffic Ticket Lawyers
9 1 5 and you can contact us at9 1 5 212 0 2. Our website is
Traffic Ticket Lawyers nine onefive.com and we are open Monday
through Friday eight to six.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Awesome, thank you for that. And you know a lot of
people are just wondering , uh,what does a traffic ticket
lawyer do? So let's say I get aspeeding ticket, I'm gonna call
you guys, what are you gonna dofor me if I give you a call?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
So when you hire us, we make the process very easy
for you. Um, once you give us acall, we'll ask you a couple of
questions , um, just so that wehave your contact information.
So we'll ask for your citationnumber and then we go with very
basic information. First name, last name, your date of birth ,
um, the best contact phonenumber so that we always have a

(01:19):
way to reach you and an emailthat is how we reach you once
we reach a final disposition.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Awesome. Okay. And uh, so I'm gonna hire you. Is
my ticket gonna , my trafficticket gonna get dismissed when
I hire an attorney? What arethe chances of that? Like what
does that look like? Likeshould I hire you guys? Should
I go do it myself?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So unfortunately we cannot a hundred percent
guarantee a dismissal. Um, noattorney really can. It's up to
the chances. But we do have avery high success rate anywhere
from 85 to 90% dismissal rate.
So we do have an attorney whowill go to court and we do
attend three to four courtdates and no, we don't charge
per court date. It's one timefee. And that covers as many

(02:00):
times as they allow us toattend the hearings. And the
reason that we attend as manyhearings is the greater chance
we have of dismissing thatviolation for you. Oh, that's

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Great. So it's just a flat fee. Uh , what does it ,
what do you guys charge? Look ,I'm sure it varies depending on
violations courts. Can youkinda gimme a rundown on your,

Speaker 2 (02:17):
So our prices can vary anywhere from 20 up to a
hundred dollars per violation, but it all really depends on
who cited you, what you recitedfor. And of course we do also
handle C D L drivers, so that'swhere our fee fluctuates a
little.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
And C D L's commercial driver's license,
that's for like 18 wheelerdrivers and people that just
drive commercial trucks ?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Correct, yes.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Okay, great. And you guys have a pretty good rate of
dismissals for them

Speaker 2 (02:41):
As well? Yes, we do.
We fight really hard because weunderstand that your driver's
license is very important. Okay,

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Great. So here in El Paso, Texas, let's say I'm just
driving through , um, I'm gonnaget a speeding ticket with the
police department. Where doesthat go to like in El Paso
Municipal Court? Just to thepeace , like how many different
kind of courts are there? Iknow Dallas is a bunch.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
We do have several courts here. So we have the El
Paso Police Department and thenwe go into the county. The
county can be a SheriffMarshall Constable and they
have um, a total of eightdifferent precincts. And we
also do some other courts, small courts. So we do San
Elisario , horizon, Anthony ,um, those are just a little bit

(03:22):
smaller. So our main is gonnabe the El Paso municipal and
the county.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Great. Now let's say I get a traffic ticket , um,
and I missed my court date. Canyou guys help us out with that
too?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So we can definitely still help you. Um, we can't
remove like a failure to appearsince you didn't attend your
first hearing, but that doesn'treally make a huge impact. We
can still represent you. We'lljust file in the paperwork and
request a new hearing.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Okay. Um, if I get a warrant for an arrest and get
those removed, we

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Can definitely remove warrants. The only time
that we cannot do that is withthe county if you were already
guilty. Um, we can't doanything once there's any kind
of guilty disposition.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Okay. So let's say I hire you guys to go to court.
How long does that processusually take?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
The process can be a little lengthy as I mentioned
to you previously, we do attendthree to four hearings, so it's
up to the court whenever theyhave available dates for our
attorney. So that can takeanywhere from three to 18
months.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Okay. And um, if the ticket doesn't get dismissed,
what , what , what would happenthen if you guys can't get it
completely dismissed? 'cause Iknow you said you can't
guarantee that

Speaker 2 (04:31):
So we'll still offer you a better alternative than
going to the court and payingoff your ticket. Um, once you
pay off your ticket you areadmitting guilt and it stays on
your record. We don't wanna dothat. So we'll find you
alternative um, solutions. Ifwe cannot dismiss your ticket,
either we get you a reducedfine or a defensive driving
with a court fine . Which aslong as you do comply with

(04:53):
that, it's the same as adismissal. Stay off your
record.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Okay. And you know I was reading before we were
gonna do this interview , uh,traffic tickets are
misdemeanors, right?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Um, so does it stay on your record if you just pay
it off or what happen if youhad just like, let's just say I
just wanna pay the ticket off?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Well it's not so much about your record per se.
A lot of people kind of, it'snot like it's a huge crime or
anything like that. However, itdoes have different impacts
when you pay off a ticket. Whenyou pay off a ticket, you're
admitting guilt so it's gonnaaffect your license, which
could potentially be suspendedafter so many or um , your

(05:33):
insurance also that has a biglarge effect. It's gonna
increase on your premium and ifyou don't take care of your
tickets, let's say you don'tpay them, you don't hire an
attorney and you let them go,then they can hold your
registration so you won't beable to renew it.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I see. Could that affect your driver's license as
well?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Okay. Um, so these are misdemeanors. Do you guys
do any other , excuse me, anyother kind of misdemeanors?

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Um, well we do traffic tickets and we do all
kinds of like pet violations.
So for vaccinationregistration, animal
confinement.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Alright, great. Uh, so how long have you been with
the company?

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Six years.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Six years. Wow. Do you have any interesting
stories to tell or anythingthat jogs your memory?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I can't think of anything now .

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Okay. And you guys are highly rated, right? If I
go online and look you guys up,you guys got good reviews?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yes, definitely. Um, so customer services are very
high on our list. We do wannamake sure that our customers
are always satisfied not onlywith the service but the
outcome. We do try everythingpossible to get you the best
solution.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Okay, great. I know I can take a defensive driving
class on my own , so if I hireyou guys and I get defense is
driving, what's the benefit ofthat?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
So unfortunately if you'd represent yourself and
let's say you are one of thosespeeders out there and you
receive numerous amounts ofticket, you are only able to
take one defensive driving. Andso with an attorney that that's
different. So if you arespeeding once a month and you
get a ticket, then if you callus and if we still can't

(07:18):
dismiss your tickets, which asI said we do have a very high
success rate, then with us youcan take numerous amounts of
defensive driving so that yourticket does eventually get
dismissed.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Awesome. Okay, I think that's pretty much it. I
have a few more questions foryou if you don't mind. And then
we can just wrap this up. Um,when I'm looking for a traffic
ticket attorney location, canwe just hire you over the
phone? Do I have to come intoyour office? How does that
work?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
No, so we try to make it very easy. We
understand schedules are kindof hectic sometimes and of
course we do maintain a Mondaythrough Friday eight to five.
So that's kind of difficult forsome employees. So what we do
is we can do everything overthe phone. We do take payments
over the phone with a creditcard or a debit card and as I

(08:04):
mentioned we just ask for allyour information so that we
have a way to contact you andit's really fairly easy. Takes
no more than 10 minutes tops.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Awesome. And I won't have to show obtain of the
court dates if I got a ticket,right?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
No, we'll take care of everything for you.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Okay. So you guys do speeding tickets. What about no
driver's license tickets, youguys ? All

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Kinds of violations.
So , uh, anything that's amoving violation, even paper
violations, registrationinsurance, driver's license,
driver's license address change, um, let's say license plates.
You were missing your licenseplates. Um , your registration
is expired or your window tentis too dark, you're missing a

(08:46):
headlamp, your license platelight is out. We take any kind
of violations just as long asit's in the El Paso area. Well

Speaker 1 (08:53):
You guys cover a lot then. Um, okay. Well I just
wanna thank you for your time.
Can you go ahead and give ourlisteners uh , your information
one more time?

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Yes, of course . So it's traffic ticket lawyers
nine one five.com and our phonenumber to contact is (915)
200-1202.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Awesome. Well thank you so much for your time. You
have a great day.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Okay. Thank you. You too. Thanks.
