Speaker 1 (00:16):
I'm doing well.
Thanks for asking and thank youfor coming in today.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
No , sure thing.
Sure thing. Well, before we getstarted, let's go ahead and uh,
give the audience theinformation , uh, to your law
firm , uh, you know, the goodstuff, how to get ahold of you
guys, where to go, et cetera .

Speaker 2 (00:33):
So our website is traffic ticket texas.com and
you can reach us by phone at(915) 542-0388 . Now , um, if
you wanna email us anyinformation or email is info at
traffic tickets 9 1 5 . Ouraddress if you wanna visit us
locally is seven 18 Myrtle, ElPaso, Texas 7 9 9 0 1.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Great. Myrtle Avenue. That's near downtown
Texas or uh , downtown El Paso, right?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yes. Central El Paso.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, I know exactly where that is. Okay, great. So
that's a very convenientlocation. It's pretty much near
a lot of things, so it's prettyconvenient for people to just
pop into that office.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yes, absolutely.
Stop on by if you guys need anyassistance.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Okay, great. So you guys are traffic ticket
lawyers. You specialize intraffic tickets. I call the
attorney, I need help with thetraffic ticket. So I'm gonna
call you, hi, I got a trafficticket, how can you help me?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
So we would ask if you have your citation number,
however, if you lost it,misplaced it, or just can't see
it, we can always look up byfirst name, last name, and date
of birth. And we will dogeneral searches on the systems
that are available. So we canlook up tickets through El Paso
Police Department or theSheriff's Marshall Constable.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Great . Okay. Uh , so why should I fight my
ticket? Why should I hire youguys to fight a traffic ticket?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
So it's very convenient to get , go through
an attorney. So the attorney'sgonna do the work for you. The
attorney will attend thehearings for you. That way you
don't have to ask for time offfrom work, take time out of
your schedule, work aroundthose times that they schedule
you at. Um, now aside from thatconvenience , um, if you go pay
off a ticket, you're declaringyourself guilty, which is

(02:22):
something that we neverrecommend for you to do. A lot
of people believe that if youpay off a ticket it's closed
and it's done with.
Unfortunately, when you dothat, it does have a lot of
effects. You are declaringyourself guilty, therefore
it'll stay on your record. Itincrease your insurance premium
and affect your driver'slicense.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Oh wow. So that sounds pretty serious if you
just neglect your, yourcitation, huh?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Well, if you neglect your citation, it's a little
bit worse. So if you don't payattention to it and you allow
it to become a warrant, it'sgonna go into a lot of other
holds. So they may not allowyou to register your vehicle or
obtain a new driver's license.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Okay. When you say warrant, that means a warrant
for to , they'll arrest you fornot doing your payment

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Ticket? Yes, absolutely. So when you have
any kind of active warrants, they can go and arrest you,
whether it be for a movingviolation or even paper
violation if you were cited fordriver's license insurance ,
um, something as simple aswindow tint or obstruction of
the view on your windshield, anything like that can turn

(03:29):
into a warrant when it's nothandled. Wow ,

Speaker 1 (03:32):
That's pretty crazy.
Um, so I'm gonna get a ticket.
I'm gonna call your office. Youguys are gonna help me out. Uh,
who, who gives the most ticketshere in El Paso? Is it like
sheriff's departments, thepolice?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
So there are several departments that give out
tickets around here and itwould be an El Paso Police
department. Um, the county, which could be a Marshall or a
sheriff constable, they do haveeight different precincts here
in El Paso. We do handle all ofthem. It could be a horizon,
Osoro , Anthony, Clint San ,and with any of those

(04:07):
departments we can always helpyou out.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Okay , so if I hire you guys for my, let's say my
speeding ticket, do I have toattend the court?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
No, that's one of the convenience with going
through an attorney. Theattorney's gonna be the one to
attend the hearings. Um, onceyou hire the attorney, it's
completely hands off for you.
You just need to wait for us tohave a final disposition. Um,
we contact you by email andphone number, which is the two
things that we ask for as faras contact. That way we're
always able to contact you whenwe reach a final decision on

(04:38):
your case.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Okay, great. Yeah , I see you guys on the internet.
Um, I can give you guys a call.
Can I text you guys? Can I hireonline? Is there any other
options for like busy peoplethat are at work all day and
just may not be able to escape?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Absolutely convenient to hire us. So you
can always stop by our office.
You can give us a call and wecan handle everything over the
phone. If you get an extra fiveminutes, I can make it
incredibly quick or you can goonline, hire online, ask any
questions that you have online.
Um, you can send us a textmessage and we'll be able to
assist you, answer anyquestions that you have, hire

(05:11):
through all those um , options.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Okay, so that sounds pretty convenient. Uh , you
mentioned about getting awarrant. What happens if I got
a warrant? Can I still call youguys for help or do I just need
to pay that uh , citation off?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
No, so we still assist you with warrants , um,
in any department that you mayhave. So any of the precincts
that I mentioned, El Pasopolice, the county , um, any of
the small courts, even ifthey're warrants, regular
tickets with El Paso police, even if you've already declared
yourself guilty and it's awarrant, we can still assist by
removing the active warrant.

(05:46):
Now unfortunately, once you dodeclare yourself guilty,
whether it's a warrant or it'snot a warrant, just a regular
ticket still, thenunfortunately once there is a
guilty decision on the case, wecan no longer represent.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Got it. Okay. Uh, you know, as you're talking, it
got me wondering how long doesthis process take? So from hire
to the end of it all, 'causeyou guys gotta go to court,
right? What's the process looklike? So

Speaker 2 (06:10):
We do attend several court dates, three to four and
that betters the chance ofbeing able to dismiss your
ticket. Unfortunately, goingthrough an attorney doesn't
always guarantee a dismissal.
However, we do try our verybest and we have a very high
success rate anywhere from 80to 90% dismissal rate and um,
the attorney tries to attend asmany courts as they allow him

(06:33):
to, which could be anywherefrom three to four. That
process can take some time justbecause it depends on the
courts. Having availability forthe attorney to attend the
process can take anywhere fromthree to 18 months. However,
the longer that it takes, itdoes actually work out in your
favor.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Okay, cool. I do have a kind of a weird request
for all my uh , audience kindof nerds like me. Can you just
kind of take me through theprocess of once I hire you,
what exactly you're gonna do?
Like you're gonna send in thePA paperwork, like it's an
entry or something like kind ofjust explain to me exactly the
process that your office isgonna handle from the paperwork

(07:13):
to what the attorney does andthings , things like that if
you don't mind.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
So we try to prolong it as long as possible because
the longer that it takes, itdoes work out in the client's
favor. So once you hire us, ourvery first step is to um ,
enter into an entry ofappearance of an attorney and
that's through all courts. Andthat's just letting the court
knows that you do have anattorney on file and he will be
the one to attend the hearingsand make the pleas on your

(07:39):
behalf. We automatically enterinto a non-guilty plea because
we always want to find you notguilty After that we do have to
wait for court processing. Sowe need the courts to set up
any available date. Once thereis a date available, then the
attorney will attend thehearing for you. Um, if it's
our first court date, more thanlikely we're just gonna request

(08:02):
a new court date just toprolong the process just a
little bit longer to betteryour outcome. And then it will
continue for as long as thejudge will allow us to prolong
it. So three to four courtdates depending on the
situation. Now when we do reacha final disposition, so we will
contact you to notify youwhether your ticket was

(08:23):
dismissed , um, and or if weneed you to take care of
anything on your behalf. So atthat point you could have a
defensive driving or you couldhave a reduced fine or maybe
some um, some community servicetime.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Okay. You guys are near downtown. Um, so let's say
I get a warrant and I call youguys. You said you can take
care of that too. Once I hireyou, will I be okay? I'll be
safe to drive again or how does

Speaker 2 (08:56):
It work ? So not that exact moment because we do
have to file the pro thepaperwork. Once we file, then
it is up to the court toprocess it. So sometimes it's
just depending on how many um,dockets are in front of us. But
we do file everything so thatwe can promptly remove your
warrant. So as soon as you hireus, we will file all the

(09:18):
paperwork. It can take a coupleof days just due to the time
that it could take with thecourt. If they're very busy it
could take up to a weekunfortunately. But we try not
to go to those extremes. So assoon as you hire, we do file
everything on your behalf.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Okay, so you guys file the paperwork right away
and that's just up to the courtto sign off on whatever the
warrant is or whatever,

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Right? Yes, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Okay, well that's pretty serious. People can get
arrested. I didn't know that.
Um, okay. Well , um, I guesssome of the other questions I
might have for you is like, I'msure there's , you guys have
competition, there's otherlawyers that do this. Why would
I hire you guys versus theother guys or girls?

Speaker 2 (09:58):
So our main thing about our company is customer
service. So you can contact usas any time and we are more
than happy to assist you withany questions. There's no such
thing as a silly question.
We're always there to assistyou. Um, we try to give you the
best customer service possible.
That is how we are able to havea high rating just due to our

(10:21):
customer service. So we try tobe very prompt with our pro our
paper filing and then of course, um, how many dismissals we do
obtain at the end of the day.
And so we try to be the numberone just for that reason is
customer service is incrediblyimportant. So we are there for
any questions all the time.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Will the results be better hiring us or hiring uh ,
traffic ticket's 9 1 5 versussomebody else?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
We do have a very high success rate. Um, so the
reason that we do that is justbecause of how many times we
can push back the court datesand um, it's always better to
go through an attorney justbecause you don't wanna declare
yourself guilty.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, I see that.
And then I also see thatthere's like these other third
party websites that they're notlawyers, they're like
middlemen, right?

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Right. So with us you're getting the attorney
itself directly. You're nothiring through somebody who
doesn't actually know theprocess. So

Speaker 1 (11:19):
This is a law firm, actual

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Law firm. This is a law firm. I've been here for
six years and it's um, it's anattorney directly. So you're
not, it's not a hire through athird party. Any questions that
you have, I will be able toanswer any question that you
have anybody on staff. And ofcourse if there's anything that
we cannot handle, then we godirectly through your attorney
since we are the law firmitself .

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Okay. If I'm looking for a traffic ticket attorney
in the surrounding areas, doyou guys surrounding areas, do
you guys just do El Paso, thecity of El Paso or is that the
only place you serve ?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
So it is surrounding, so it's El Paso,
it's Anthony, it's ClintSanrio, Socorro Horizon and
Sheriff's Department, whichcould be any of the pre eight
precincts that there are herein the area.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Okay, great. Um, are you guys open on the weekends?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yes. So , um, we are open Monday through Friday
eight to five and Saturdaysnine to three.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
And I think you already just said this, but how
long does the process take fromstart to finish? A few months,
a few weeks.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
It can take anywhere from three to 18 months. Now
the longer that it takes, as Imentioned, it does work out in
your uh, benefit, the longerthat it takes, the less that we
are able to say we weren't ableto dismiss it just because the
officer may not even recallyour violation at that point.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Uh , that makes sense. Now if I'm looking to
get a tr traffic violationlawyer versus just paying the
tickets off, I know that justpaying the tickets off isn't
good. But why, why would it beso bad just to pay my tickets
off and just be done with it soI don't have to worry about it?

Speaker 2 (13:00):
So when you pay off your ticket, of course it gets
closed right away outta sight, outta mind. However, when you
pay off a ticket it shows onyour record number one. Number
two, your insurance premiumwill go up because you have a
guilty disposition on it. Andeventually after so many
tickets they could ask you notto renew your license or you

(13:22):
could end up payingreinstatement fees and those
can be kind of steep.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
What are the most common violations that you
encounter?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Um, so speeding.
Unfortunately , right?
Yeah. Um, of course all kindsof moving. So stop sign red
light. Um, we also do uh ,paper violations. So it could
be a driver's license,insurance registration. Um , it
could even be the window tintor you had something hanging on
your visor. So it's obstructionof view. Now we also handle pet

(13:54):
violations so if your pet wasnot registered vaccinated, if
it wasn't confined, if anythinghappens like that, then we can
also assist.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Well that's great.
Um, and what is your prices?
Where does your prices startat?

Speaker 2 (14:07):
So our prices do vary anywhere from 20 up to a
hundred dollars per violation.
I know that it's a very bigdifference, but there's a lot
of things that could change theprice. So it depends on the
department that CI you . Itcould be an El Paso police,
could be Sheriff Socorro . Sothose fluctuate the prices. Now
it also depends on the kind ofviolation and how many

(14:29):
violations you receive . So ifyou were pulled over for
speeding but unfortunately youalso didn't have a driver's
license or insuranceregistration, then that changes
the prices a little. Just'cause it's numerous um,
violations on that one ticket.
It also changes due to yourdriver's license. So you could
be a regular driver's licenseor a commercial. So as a

(14:50):
commercial driver's license, the prices do change.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Okay, got it. Well you know what , thank you so
much for coming in today. Uh,if you can just go ahead and
