Rocío Villarreal es fundadora de Capacithadas. Una asociación que se dedica a profesionalizar y dignificar el trabajo de las auxiliares del hogar.
A través de cursos y talleres, Rocío y su equipo las enseñan a hacer las labores del hogar de una manera profesional y las ayudan a tener herramientas para tener un mejor futuro, para ellas, pero sobre todo para sus hijos.
El reto de Rocío es enorme porque se enfrenta a lo más difícil: las empleadoras, las amas de casa que contratan a las trabajadoras y que, en muchas ocasiones, las maltratan, las humillan y las tratan literalmente como de segunda.
La manera en que tratamos a la gente que trabaja en nuestra casa habla tanto de lo que somos, que no dimensionamos el efecto que tiene no solo en ellos, si no en nuestros hijos, que nos ven todo el tiempo y que imitan lo que hacemos.
Soy una convencida, de que, si queremos cambiar el mundo, tenemos que empezar por ayudar a quienes viven en nuestra casa, tenemos que voltearlos a ver a los ojos, y buscar a como dé lugar, que suban algunos peldaños en esta vida en la que viven con tanta desventaja…
