En este episodio quisimos hacer algo muy específico: explicar por qué, ante la más que evidente falta de voluntad política para crear un Consejo Fiscal hecho y derecho –es decir, un organismo apartidista que pueda monitorear y evaluar con objetividad las finanzas públicas–, era momento de que la sociedad civil diera un paso al frente y creara su propio Consejo ciudadano. Y queríamos hacerlo en el mejor marco posible: la presentación de #YoMeSumo, nuestra plataforma de discusión de finanzas públicas.
Sin embargo, teniendo a tertulianos tan de lujo –Mariana Campos, coordinadora del Programa de Gasto Público y Rendición de Cuentas de México Evalúa; Vidal Llerenas, alcalde de Azcapotzalco, quien fue diputado local y federal y en la Legislatura pasada trabajó como pocos en el tema del presupuesto y Carlos Hurtado, director del Centro de Estudios Económicos del Sector Privado y exsubsecretario de egresos de la Secretaría de Hacienda–, la cosa se nos salió de las manos, afortunadamente. Acabamos haciendo un repaso sustancioso, y no exento de polémica, de los nudos principales de finanzas públicas de nuestro país. IMPERDIBLE.
