Hey, hey, welcome to the finalepisode of Season 6 of Elevated.
I'm your host, Brandi Lawson, and in this episode, you'll hear
a behind the scenes look at howour Fiery Effects team maximized
our experience at 2024 KBiz inLas Vegas, using pretty much
every AI tool and method we'vecovered this season.
As you are well aware, thejourney of attending an event,

(00:27):
especially a conference the sizeof KBiz, begins long before
anyone arrives there.
As we began planning our time atthe conference, we used
perplexity to research Vegashotspots, the best eateries, and
comfortable yet convenientaccommodations, plus those must
see attractions.
Our objectives for the time atthe conference were to deliver
an authentic Fiery Effectsrepresentation, absorb the

(00:50):
latest industry info andinsights, and foster new
partnerships.
The trip kicked off with mydrive from sunny Phoenix to
vibrant Vegas.
MileIQ tracked every bit of thatjourney, ensuring precise
mileage reports for the records.
Meanwhile, Gail, our COO, andCallie, our head of content,
flew in from the East Coast, booked a Lyft from the airport,

(01:10):
and joined me at our condo.
Once on the ground, logisticswere a breeze with our Lyft
business account.
Not only did it streamline citytravels, from hotels to bustling
convention centers, but alsoensured all expenses were
effortlessly logged, makingreimbursements not anything
anyone had to remember to submitlater.
Because we don't do homework.
KBiz isn't just an industryevent with endless booths and

(01:33):
sessions, it's a place forconnection and creation.
Each day, armed with Noteshelf3, I attended key sessions
capturing granular insightshandwritten digitally on my
iPad.
This practice wasn't just aboutconvenience, it connected me
deeper to the content, makingnotes readily shareable across
our team through ClickUp.
Meanwhile, Callie wielded hercamera capturing dynamic visuals

(01:54):
in photos and videos.
Her keen eye transformed photosinto potent content for our
social platforms, neatlyorganized in our shared cloud
storage.
She didn't worry about gettingjust the right length of video
for a reel, or the right aspectratio for a blog graphic.
AI would take care of formattingand resizing later.
On the show floor, instead ofexchanging traditional business

(02:15):
cards, we went paperless using asocial master token, which has
near field communication, whereyou tap and send your info, and
QR codes instead of businesscards.
One quick scan and all of ourcontact details and a custom
call to action or resource areinstantly shared.
These digital tokens weren'tjust business cards, they were
conversation starters, settingthe tone for creative

(02:36):
collaborations.
With any conference, the realconnections happen after hours,
and that's especially true inVegas.
One night I was able to grabdinner with clients at In N Out,
a tradition we enjoy, and oneeasily expensed with the snap of
a photo and a jot of names inHub Docs.
I also enjoyed treating them tofrozen Baileys at O'Shea's, a
treat you should not sleep on ifyou get to the Ling Promenade.

(02:59):
Again, swipe, snap, and documentit.
Back at the hotel, the teamwould do a quick daily debrief.
With Otter AI as my ally, Icould reference recorded voice
memos from each day, or justturn it on to record the debrief
conversation so no one had to bein charge of notes.
Whether it was capturing sessionfeedback or preparing tomorrow's
action points, Transcriptionturns spoken thoughts into

(03:22):
tangible information.
Oh, and let's not forget aboutthose spontaneous content
sparks, ideas that hit duringchats with fellow attendees or
while exploring the show floor.
Even if I couldn't jot thingsdown immediately, tapping into
my phone and letting Otter AIpreserve those thoughts meant no
inspiration was lost to thevibrant Vegas buzz.
Our experience at KBiz was alearning experience, not only in

(03:44):
becoming more attuned to ourtarget clients, But also in
using the business innovation toincrease the value and ease of
our time there.
By weaving AI tools into thefabric of our journey, we cut
the friction typicallyassociated with such events.
So, how might you apply some ofthese innovations in your next
event or project?
Start small.

(04:04):
Build confidence and let AI pavethe way for lighter loads and
more impactful outcomes.
Oh, and get your tickets forKBiz 2025 because I'm speaking
on Thursday about how to harnessinnovation in your kitchen and
bath design business.
Are you all in on using AI inyour business but need some
hands on expert help?
