Welcome to a new season! Inspired by a conference I attended at the end of last year, this season is going to be highlighting Latinas in the finance space! I get more into the story in the episode, but I'm excited to share amazing jefas who have gotten the education with the goal to pour back into and help their community.
Before we get into the episode I want to mention the reality we are currently in: We are only a week away from Jan 20th….and it’s been a WEEK if you know what I mean. In talking with my amigas, and community members it’s felt like a whole week of “what on earth is happening” to “yep, I’m not surprised…we knew this was all going to happen” but honestly I didn’t think all of this would happen so soon into a new presidency. After this past week there’s just a lot of uneasiness, fear, and sadness. I want to acknowledge these real feelings, and to tell you I’m right there with you.
But this will continue to be a safe space, where our voices are heard, our community continues to be lifted, and collectively we share in our expertise, resources, and connections.
I’m excited to come back with a new season, and a line up on amazing stories that I hope will resonate, and inspire.
