This week on the pod, we finally get to give our thoughts after watching the Best Picture of the year: Anora. Since we didn’t read a lot about the movie ahead of time, we were surprised by the direction the film went, but we loved it overall. If you haven’t seen it yet, definitely check it out now that it’s available on streaming. We couldn’t let the release of Netflix’s biggest film go by without watching and reviewing, so we’re breaking down The Electric State. Once again, we’re skeptical of the streaming numbers and some of the reviews, but thought it made for a great kid’s movie even though that clearly wasn’t the intention. There were so many things off with this movie from the chemistry to the acting in general…
Since Trap just dropped on Netflix, we’re planning to watch that for next week and we tentatively plan a little M. Night Shyamalan binge.
