Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello there and
welcome back to empower your
soul.
Today I have the lovely Katiehere and we're going to do this
really individual spin on someof her questions that she has.
Thank you so much for beinghere, katie, thank you for
having me, and we just chattedquickly because I want to get
really into the meat reallyquickly with Katie.
(00:24):
I don't know, there's somethingmust be about your energy,
katie, because I feel like youare ready to go, like your
energy just gives me ready to go, and before I even had you hop
on the Zoom call, I just feltlike very, not anxious I
wouldn't say anxious was theword, but I felt very like
motivated.
I'm ready to go, I'm ready todo all the work that I need to
do.
(00:44):
I just need to go, know whatdirection to go in.
Would that be fair with you?
Absolutely, yes.
Okay, the two things we startedchatting about beforehand was
your business with your husbandand looking for maybe a little
bit of guidance there in termsof financial stability,
profitability, that kind ofthing, and then also your
(01:04):
personal life with your kind ofpoetry work there, which is
super cool, and Katie justinformed me she released her
second book yesterday as of thisrecording.
Holy moly, that's amazing,katie.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
It's.
It's frightening, but fun.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So I will.
If you send me that link, katie, I'll add it to the show notes
so people know where to get getyour books.
Oh, that'd be awesome.
That would be amazing, okay.
So let's start.
I'm going to let spirit.
They want to start with numbertwo first.
So they want to talk about youand your poetry first, and then
we'll scoot back to yourbusiness item here.
So let me ask your team and Ifeel like we're kind of um, half
(01:43):
of the Akashic records, halfnot, I'm not sure this is coming
from a whole collective ofindividuals here on the other
side, katie, but there's, youhave really put in the work and
I know that you have put in thework with your poetry work, but
what I have to tell you isyou've essentially put it out
there and wanted to just say, like here it is, world.
(02:05):
If it's meant for me, it'smeant for me and I absolutely
love that about you that youhave such faith.
But there is going to be somework that you have to do in
order to make this to besuccessful for you in the poetry
space.
Yes, I see that you don't wantto be seen period.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Wow, that's 100%.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, You're like I'm
going to put this out.
I would be, even I'm going tosee.
I feel like there is a photo ofyou maybe in, like the back or
on the back cover, but it'sdefinitely not front and center.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Um, I don't have a
photo of me on on the book.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
There, it is Okay.
So that speaks volumes, becauseI'm seeing, like, if there is
one, it's way in the back andyou are covering it.
So there is no photo.
So that that checks out for mebecause, as spirits kind of
showing me this poetry work,it's like I'm going to shut the
shades.
Shut the shades for me, as I'mgoing to stay private.
I don't want people to to toassociate that book with like me
(03:01):
as a person, because this is mypassion and you'd like to keep
you a little bit separate fromyour passion, which is cracking
me up because it's poetry.
Yeah, because poetry is theexpression of your soul.
Yes, I think that's what makesit so scary Right, it's
vulnerable, it's people seeingyou as a soul in this work and
(03:23):
so by you not putting yourpicture out there, by you not,
you don't even post about thisstuff Like on social media.
You don't have a social mediaaccount for like this poetry
stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I do, but I haven't
posted on it.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
There it is.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yeah, cause.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I'm just seeing like
it's not out there.
You're not advertising it, okay.
So this is your next step, because I see that this really
is your dream, like this isreally what lights you up and
makes you so happy and soexcited.
And obviously because you'vealready gone through the hoops
(03:57):
to write these poetry books, toget these poetry books published
, right.
But you might as well start toadvertise it and show the people
who you are.
And as I'm saying that, I'mhearing spirit, probably in the
voice in your head, challengedme and saying but I don't
deserve it.
I don't want people to see me, Idon't feel like I'm worthy of
(04:19):
it.
Who am I?
Because you feel for you.
You feel like plain Jane.
You're like I'm, I'm everybody.
There's nothing special aboutme, right, but there's
everything special about you.
Everything is special about youand that's what makes all of us
these unique, wonderful soulsis that we all bring amazing,
(04:41):
special gifts to the table.
And just because you might nothave had the most tumultuous
life you maybe you didn't havemajor, you know, toxic family
thing, maybe you did, I don'tknow just because you didn't
have some of the big problemsthat other people has, does not
mean that your story is any lessworthy, because some of the
most beautiful souls and I loveevery soul that comes across my
(05:03):
desk, my computer over here, butsome of the most beautiful
souls are the ones that are hereto be the soul that other
people emulate, the soul thatleads the way, that is the
lighthouse that doesn't have alot of things that happen to
them, but they still are thatsafe space for other people.
They, they still stand up talland show.
(05:26):
No matter who you are, it'sstill hard to do this stuff.
It's very hard to be brave andthat's who you are.
Right, because they're showingme there's nothing.
There's nothing, there's no.
I'm gonna say there's no logicalreason why you would want to
hide.
Besides, you don't feel goodenough.
That makes sense.
(05:47):
Yeah, because there's no,there's no logical reason.
It's not like I don't know.
You probably have stage frightand all these things, right like
which go into, like you notwanting to be seen, right yeah,
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I feel like I worked
through a lot of those things I
took like so I could like dospeeches and like talk in front
of crowds, but then I think ifI'm out front and center in a
group I'm okay, but it's likeputting it on that little tiny
screen on line is scarier thanstanding up in front of a crowd.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
It is so scary
because there's so many trolls
on the internet, yeah, andthere's so many people who are
going to judge you by the splitsecond Right Of your picture, of
your poetry, and so this isreally an opportunity for you to
continue to grow in that spaceand really be bulletproof in
(06:42):
terms of other people's beliefs, thoughts, verbalizations at you
, because here's the differencebetween you and the rest of the
world, katie you know who youare.
You know who you are, but youcan't but you're also a huge
empath, so you can't internalizewhat other people think of you
because you know who you are, soit's so.
I'm not saying you can'tbecause you probably do that way
(07:03):
too much right now as youinternalize what other people
think of you because you knowwho you are.
So it's so.
I'm not saying you can'tbecause you probably do that way
too much right now as youinternalize what other people,
like, think of you or otherpeople's emotions.
Right, and so avoidance is youreasiest way around that.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
For sure, 100% yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Okay, I'm going to
challenge you and I'm going to
say your reward is going to beso much bigger than your risk If
you put yourself out there.
Okay, because the reward thatyou're going to get we already
talked about the risk the riskis the people that are going to
judge you and say negativethings about you and maybe not
like you.
Right, the reward is going tobe people are going to say me
(07:40):
too, I love this.
This makes I can feel yourpassion, I can feel your love, I
can feel your joy, I can feelthe emotions you're trying to
relay here in this amazing poem.
And so not only that, becauseyour poetry is amazing, but your
story spirit is highlightingyour story.
(08:00):
To get to the poetry is equallyamazing.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
And I think that's
something that's holding me back
.
Okay, yeah, because parts ofthe story are not fully mine to
share.
Okay, so I can't share thoseparts, if that makes sense, and
I feel like those parts are whatmade it like come to pass
Mm-hmm In the beginning.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
I would agree, but
I'm also being challenged by
spirit to tell you.
But your side of the story isis the part that needs to be
told.
So I don't know if you need tofeel give the full details about
the person or what thesituation was, but you can talk
about what you had gone throughand keep it anonymous, Okay, and
(08:51):
you can tell your part of thestory, because that is your
truth and it is your story totell yes, and so it's like this
can you, can you, can you carvea little bit out of that story
for you so that other people cansee what you've gone through?
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yes, and I had a
download come to me in the
shower the other day.
That was something I wentthrough and, um, it was like you
have to share this and I'vebeen writing it good couple days
.
And I've been writing it acouple days and I was telling a
(09:32):
couple people about it lastnight and it's where Spirit told
me I needed to pray for someoneI didn't want to pray for, and
so I've been writing it.
It's not necessarily a poem, but it's like an essay, maybe so
a little different than whatI've been doing, but it's
something that I think is goingto propel me a little bit, and
(09:57):
that's because it came hard andfast.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Like you need to
write this, yeah and so follow
those nuggets of gold and I lovethat you're already doing that.
You're you're getting theshower downloads.
Those are my favorite way toget the downloads because like
that's I mean, that's theperfect description.
It's like a shower downloadwhere you get all this
information while your brain isoff there like doing something
else.
So there is such um amazingnessin how you receive this
(10:27):
information from spirit and howyou follow it, and so this feels
like continue to do that.
But I think there's somethingabout you you needing to make
sure that you're starting toshare you and your story with
the world, because it's notgoing to be, um, I'm going to
say it this way, and this is alittle bit of tough love from
spirit it's not going to be yourpoetry that sells you.
(10:50):
It's going to be you that sellsyour poetry.
Okay, yeah, and it feels very.
Your mindset is very oppositeright now.
Okay, yeah, because your poetryis you, and so it's not like a
business that you have a projectright.
Where your project is like hereis the final result, and the
(11:12):
executives are like fantasticjob, that's exactly what I asked
for.
Bravo, here's your promotion, here's your raise, right.
It's opposite in the poetryworld, because you are your
poetry.
You can't separate the two Right.
And so you are going to be youand your lovely face and your
lovely energy Cause your energyis just like it's like a oh my
(11:33):
God, it's like a giant field ofwildflowers, like that's what
your energy feels like.
It feels very soft, it feelsvery comforting, very soothing,
it feels like it's very variedin a very lovely way, and it
feels like you are so reflectiveand perceptive of everything
that's around you.
And and it really honestlyfeels to me like, whether you
(11:54):
know it or not, like you draw alot of people in and you just
have to put yourself on displayand the right people will come
running.
Yeah, so follow those downloads.
Those downloads are telling youwhat?
And I can't like, I can'tstress enough because I feel
like, continue on the downloads, but this being seen and putting
(12:17):
yourself out there isfoundational to what else is to
come.
So, and I like, and I feel like, and as you talk about this new
direction of this essay orwhatever this is like, that's
fucking cool, don't distractyourself.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
You also need to do
this well, I think that's part
of it.
Okay, I'm not doing it separate, like it's gonna be part of it.
Good, the different directionand the same path, if that makes
sense.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Amazing.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I don't know if it
all works out, but Okay.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
So let me ask the big
.
I'm just checking in on the bigpicture with your poetry and
I'm just I'm getting this visionand I maybe this is a vision
that you've had or me, like Idon't feel like you have huge
(13:13):
aspirational goals.
I feel like you're just puttingit out there and seeing what
happens, like that's the energyI'm kind of getting from it.
But also, at the same time I'mseeing like the shelves at
Barnes and Noble.
So I don't know if at somepoint you would hope to see your
book on the shelves of Barnesand Noble.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
For sure Okay.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Okay, cause like this
, doesn't the energy of it feels
like a passion project.
Okay, that's why, that's whyI'm like this.
There's these two, but it'sgoing to be you and your passion
that gets you there.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
That's why I'm like
there's these two, but it's
going to be you and your passionthat gets you there.
I think I'm holding myself back, yeah, but I don't know what
steps to take to make it happen.
I think I've worried so muchabout the delivery of it that
instead of just delivering it, Ijust don't do anything.
(14:01):
And I met with like a businessconsultant who told me that I
have to create reels and postreels like two to three times a
week and that's really out of mycomfort zone, like I don't do
that.
I, if I knew how to do it, Iwould probably do it.
But more of my comfort zone isposting pictures, like taking
(14:26):
pictures, posting pictures.
But he's like, well, in the, inthe world we're in now, it
needs to be real.
So I think that put a mindsetin me that I can't do it if it's
not for real.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
You know what I mean,
and I think that's the problem
with a lot of the consultantsthat are out there today and
like I'm speaking as a formerconsultant like and I like that.
This is something that I knowto be true is, consultants have
their shtick right, they havetheir spiel and they have their.
I've seen this work.
This is proven method.
Go, do this right.
They think that everything is Aplus B equals C, but what I'm
(15:00):
finding is that the consultingstuff doesn't work when it's
heart led, because a lot of thestuff that the consultants will
push is more algorithm, it'smore logic-based, it's more.
This is what I've seen rightand that's great.
That data is fantastic and Iwould say it probably works for
a lot of people.
But it doesn't work inheart-centered businesses.
(15:21):
And the reason I say that, katie, is because, like I said, you
are the business, you are theenergy of your poetry.
So if you don't feel inalignment with doing reels, then
reels aren't for you.
That's good to hear, yeah, andI would double check your ego.
So whenever I'm saying stufflike this, just like double
(15:43):
check your ego, cause maybethat's part of you that doesn't
want to be seen, I don't know.
But if it truly feels out ofalignment, then stick with the
pictures, and pictures withpoetry makes sense to me.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
I think maybe once I
build up confidence in what I'm
in posting, that I could do areel.
But start out just doingcontent with reels doesn't align
with who I am right now.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Yeah, and maybe that
will happen.
So just honor you and honoryour flow, and you're already
receiving those amazingdownloads from spirit.
So just continue to just dowhat feels right, because I feel
like if you push this too hard, too fast, the energy is just
(16:30):
not going to be right.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yeah, and I think
that I agree.
It just didn't feel right.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Okay, so honor that,
honor where you're at and don't
worry too much about thetimeline here.
But I would agree you need toget you out there one way or
another.
So I don't I don't know ifthat's reals I mean, I would
definitely put a picture of youup on your social media.
I would make sure your face issomewhere on wherever you're
marketing this thing, becausewomen buy from people they trust
(17:01):
, yeah, and if they don't knowyou, they can't trust you.
They're not gonna buy from you, okay, and so, like, get you out
there, even though that's gonnafeel a little bit uncomfortable
, but you can say you know, hey,I'm katie, I live here.
This is what I'm passionateabout.
I started doing poetry becauseof this right.
You can just tell your, starttelling your story and start
telling you and, and so you're,I live here.
This is what I'm passionateabout.
I started doing poetry becauseof this right you can just tell
your, start telling your storyand start telling you, and so
(17:24):
you're going to, you are goingto really sell this going
forward, and so, like, justgoing to challenge you, I'm just
going to push you a little bitbecause I I it's not it's.
It's like my podcast episode Idid recently, like you can have,
like, you've done the work forthe poetry and I love that.
That's the law of action, right, and you've done the law of
(17:45):
manifestation and the law ofattraction, everything like that
, but there's more steps to dofor you in order for this to get
to Barnes and Noble.
So, like, oh, yeah, yeah, so,step-by-step-by-step, follow
your intuition, but your um,your other business is the total
opposite.
Yeah, that's, this is, and thisis like a mind fuck, katie,
because I'm seeing the heartcenteredness of your poetry
(18:06):
business.
And then we're talking aboutthe other business that you do
with your husband, and that'stotal opposite.
Like, if you hired a consultantfor that, no problem, right,
because it's logical, it'sdatabase, it's numbers, it's
understanding demand, it'sunderstanding the marketplace
and it's trying to figure thatout, right, and that's a whole
different.
That is not a heart centerbusiness, that is a throughput
business.
Um, so let me ask about thisbusiness and what would you?
(18:35):
I'm gonna ask, I don't know, Ididn't ask really anything about
your business besides what itwas.
I'm feeling like there's notenough visibility with that
business either.
Would you understand that?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Yeah, okay, because
it feels very close.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Okay, what do you
mean by that?
Speaker 2 (18:54):
We have a steady
stream of customers, but they're
the same customers over andover.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
They're the same
customers and that's amazing.
First of all, like that's greatthat you have that foundation
there.
But yeah, as I'm kind oftapping into this, it feels like
a very close circle and I'mlike I'm not sure if it's
geographically close, but I justfeel like there's.
It's black and white.
The people who know you knowyou and the people who don't
don't Like it's black and white.
(19:22):
The people who know you, knowyou and the people who don't
don't Like.
There's not, there's really nota lot of stretch there
whatsoever.
So let me see what.
So referrals is going to be theway to way to go.
Um, do you have a physicallocation?
Speaker 2 (19:39):
with this one, yes,
yes, I'm hearing and seeing like
a customer appreciation event.
We're planning on doing onethis spring.
Perfect Cause, that's what I'msaying.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
I'm seeing like
tables, I'm seeing food, I'm
seeing like barbecue.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
The past and we were
going to plan another one.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Oh, that's perfect,
that's perfect.
So, and then like, hey, bring afriend, both of you get 25% off
, right?
Like, bring a friend, bring afriend, bring a friend.
So it feels like not only areyou going to appreciate them,
but then you're going to givethem the discounts they give it
to other people, and I know thatfinancially like it's tight, I
know that financially it'sreally tight, but this is all
about short-term gains, orshort-term like savings for
(20:16):
long-term gains, like short-termgiving up a little bit of money
for long-term games, becausewhen people know you and your
business, they love you.
Yeah, like I feel like you'rebar nine, the best at what you
do in the area.
I feel like the quality isexceptional, the customer
service is exceptional.
Is that correct?
(20:36):
Yeah, absolutely yeah.
So what you're doing isdeveloping loyal customers, yeah
, and so you need to expand thatloyalty, and I feel like there
is a social media component tothis as well.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Yeah, we have social
media that my husband manages
and he does post, but notregularly.
So let's say once or twice amonth or something like that.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Oh, yeah, no, no, no,
I know Okay, so I'm going to
tell you.
So this is like a cheat sheetfor all of you, including anyone
that's listening go on to chatGPT or go on to Claude AI.
Claude AI, by the way, is morepersonable.
So if you're looking for likewritten content, go to Claude.
If you're looking for liketasks and strategies, go to go
(21:30):
to chat GPT.
Go on to chat GPT and ask for amarketing strategy for social
media for your type of business.
Ok, and say this is my goal.
I want to increase revenue, Iwant to increase the visibility
for clients, and they're goingto give you what type of things
(21:51):
you could do on a periodic basison social media.
To do this, you can ask themfor suggested social media
content based on.
So, for example, what keepspopping up in my head is and you
correct me if I'm wrong and Irealized this might be a really
small set of data to go off ofwith the limited postings that
you do do, or your husband doestoday, but I feel like the
(22:13):
postings today are more aboutwhat you do.
Yes, like what serviceofferings.
You need to reframe it for whatthe impact is for your clients.
Okay, what value do you bringto your clients?
Because you're not.
You're not showcasing whatmakes you different, what makes
your, your business unique.
You're not showcasing that youhave extremely loyal customers.
(22:37):
You're not showcasing yourexcellent customer service,
right and so like so, becausewhat you do is a dime a dozen.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
True.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
True, maybe not in
your area, but across.
Yeah, for sure, okay, so it's adime, a dozen.
So so your product does notdifferentiate you, your service
and your and the way that youand your quality differentiates
you.
So that's what you have to talkabout on social media, okay.
So, like customer reviews, yes,how fast were you able to turn
(23:14):
around some requests?
Like, hey, was this a reallycustom request that your client
came in with and you were ableto source the parts and install
them in X amount of days?
Right, you can say, once wehave a client that comes with us
, they tend to come back fivetimes.
You know things like that aboutwhat makes you different and
what makes you special, and then, like, here's the fun part.
(23:36):
Okay, here's the fun part, okay.
And as I'm saying this, it'salmost like the hairstylist
model, because who doesn't,maybe besides you, who doesn't
love getting their hair done?
And their hairstylist, you know, takes a picture and puts their
picture on social media andtags you, and then everyone
fawns over you.
They're like, oh, so gorgeous,it's so amazing, right, why
(23:56):
don't you do some videos aboutyour customers?
If they're okay with it?
Yeah.
Why don't you do some videosabout your customers if they're
okay with it?
Yeah, if they sign a littlerelease form or if they verbally
say they're okay with youposting this on social media
like, hey, can you do you mind?
You know, hey, we installedthis thing.
Do you mind if you take a quickvideo of you telling you about,
about it?
Or maybe, like, take a video ofwhat you did and tag the
customer and be like, hey, it's,it's a John's lucky day.
(24:19):
It's John's lucky day.
Look at, look at this amazingjob we did for him.
Yeah, and so it's not what makesyou proud to be in that
business.
What makes, yeah, like postingthat on social media what makes
you proud?
That's what makes us proud.
Yeah, because what you do whenyou post things that are proud
(24:41):
and this is going to be the samewith your poetry stuff too, so
you can really take both, bothsides of this coin here but what
makes you proud about it iswhat is naturally higher
vibration and more exciting andmore passionate for you, and
maybe the husband as well, andso that energy translates into
the videos.
Okay, yeah, and that's going tohelp immensely, because I don't
(25:04):
see and you, I don't know howmany staff you have, I don't
know if you have any staff, buteveryone's, everyone is paid
appropriately to like.
No one's severely underpaid oranything like that, and I know
that's a weird thing for me tosay.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
We just have one
person helping us right now.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Okay, because it
feels like a really good place
to work, right?
Hey, let's introduce you tothis person, let's introduce you
to me, let's introduce you toyour husband, the owners of the
company Again, get them to knowyou.
It's gonna be less like that, your husband, the owners of the
company again, get them to knowyou.
It's going to.
It's going to be less like thatin your space, but it is going
to help you create thatrelationship with people.
Okay, cause I have no doubtwhen your customers have
(25:44):
problems, they have your husbandon cell phone, on speed dial.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Oh yeah 100%.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, yep, so he's
going to be the one that really
sells that business.
Yeah, if that makes sense, yeah, so, again, I don't.
In terms of because I'm tappinginto, like the business
operations At this point qualityis better than efficiency.
(26:10):
Yes, quality is going todifferentiate you, so I'm not
going to tell you you should bedoing anything differently.
In terms of the sourcing ofyour products, the way that you
install it, like everythinglooks like it is top tier,
customer services top tier.
So, as I kind of chat, chat orcheck into the energy of your
business, I really don't seehuge opportunities for changes
(26:31):
there or improvements there.
I will, I will genuinely saythat.
And I feel, like expensesyou've looked at those over and
over and over again and there'slike no major expenses you can
cut out, right, yeah, it feelsvery bare boned in terms of like
expenses that are not necessary.
So I'm going to tell you, marketing like you have already
made your shop literallyefficient and now it's time to
(26:52):
just focus on upselling andfinding those opportunities.
And don't forget this, um,don't forget to ask your clients
for referrals, right, no onedoes that I mean a lot of them
do refer customers to us alreadydefinitely and then, um, do you
(27:12):
have thank you notes?
we should do that, for sure,it's super fucking cheesy, but
do you have thank you notes?
We should do that for sure.
It's super fucking cheesy, butdo you have thanks?
Sends thank you notes to thepeople who refer them.
You know really appreciate yourbusiness, really appreciate
that you refer it Like.
It really means a lot to me.
You're helping a local smallbusiness stay in business by
that referral and we reallyappreciate it.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Who doesn't like, who
doesn't want that Right, you
froze up on me.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Oh, sorry, I was just
saying those thank you notes.
Who wouldn't want a reallycheesy thank you note that says
thanks.
You kept this small business inin business right.
Like you you did.
You contributed to the smallbusiness being successful and
being able to stay open.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Right, yeah, we can
definitely do thank you notes
Even.
I mean, obviously, if acustomer refers someone, send
them a thank you note forreferring someone, but send them
a thank you note for whenthey've been our customer again.
I mean, we have a customerthat's in monthly, like he's
just buying new cars, just sothat he can keep our business
(28:15):
afloat.
I love that.
We've had his Porsche for acouple of weeks.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Oh, my goodness, that
is so amazing.
Looks like she froze for asecond there.
Maybe it's me, maybe, oh, therewe go.
Okay, I was like maybe I froze,I don't know, I don't know it
was on me again.
I just off my wifi, but I just,I think this is lovely and I
think that in both avenues likeum, here's the thing, the
(28:46):
relationship between the twobefore um, before I kind of
close this out is you feelbetter when that business, when
the business with your husband, feels stable.
Yes, and so I want to tell you,for now, until that business is
stable, I feel like that'swhere your energy needs to flow
(29:08):
to, and then take whatever extratime, take whatever downloads
you get with spirit and put itinto the poetry side of the
house.
Okay, like when you need thatbalance or when you need that
like push from a soulperspective, time, take whatever
downloads you get with spiritand put it into the poetry side
of the house.
Okay, like when you need thatbalance or when you need that
like push from a soulperspective, like that's,
they're bugging me, spirits arebugging me right now.
I would just it's like I justfelt a room full of them just
(29:30):
come in.
I'm like, okay, chill outeverybody, but I would just so I
need you to know that you'redivinely protected one way or
the other but focus on thebusiness with your husband,
first getting that stable, making that feel really good,
and then bring it to yours andbring the attention.
It doesn't mean that you can'tdo both at the same time, but I
feel like you're nervous aboutyour the business with your
(29:53):
husband.
So you're kind of moving overover to your poetry stuff a
little more than maybe youshould and it just feels like it
feels like imbalanced whereyou're spending that time right
now.
I guess that's the way that Iwant to put it.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Okay, I am spending
more time on his business and
the poetry.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
Perfect, I would say
that's.
That's where you should befocusing for now.
Yeah, and then like nights, weekends or anytime, you get the
divine inspiration going on,going towards the poetry one.
But again, like that is a greattime for you to build that
foundation of getting on socialmedia and just doing a couple of
posts and seeing what feelsgood for you.
(30:29):
Yeah, I can do that.
Okay, it's so.
That is giving your husband andyour business is giving you the
time to get comfortable withfeeling vulnerable and
publishing things about yourself.
So the so it's giving you thegift of time so that you can
kind of grow that.
But, um, yeah, this is going tobe a really interesting and fun
(30:52):
journey for you.
I love that.
You have to essentially, likefigure out the two different
ways to comp, the completelydifferent ways to market these
two things very separately.
Yeah, cause it's notfrustrating enough this life,
right, yeah, my goodness.
Are there any other questions Ican answer for you, katie?
Speaker 2 (31:14):
I can answer for you,
Katie.
Um, I don't know, Okay, Um, Ilost my mom last year.
Okay, I wasn't even going tobring her up, but, and I know
she's around.
But I just wonder if there'ssomething I should be um looking
(31:34):
for.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
Oh for signs from her
.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
I don't know if she
would present herself.
I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
So that might be who
I felt come flying in here
because it was just like a wallof energy and I feel like that
would be.
Her personality is just a wallof energy, Like.
I feel like she's very lovely,but I feel like she's a little
on the loud side I gotta behonest with you and a little bit
like in your face.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
I don't know if that
would be her.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
Then it might be for
the next person I have a meeting
with today.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
Okay, she's more
reserved Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Must be for the next
person, then.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
But she's definitely
um protective and yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
So maybe that's the
energy I'm picking up, because
it feels, um, it's so.
I can't even describe the waythat it feels.
So let me see if there'sanything your team wants to.
Let me know about your momthat's departed.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Let me know about your momthat's departed.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Let me see, I feel like she'salways with you, and what
(32:41):
they're highlighting for me islike, especially at night and I
don't know if you have troublefalling asleep or if you get
caught in your brain at nightand just overthink things at
night that's what it feels liketo me.
It feels like she's closest toyou when you're able to kind of
quiet your brain a little bit orwhen you're alone and make
space for her.
But I do want to let you knowshe is always with you.
That's, that's not it, and Iknow that you see her, you ask
(33:05):
for her, you ask her to send yousigns, you ask her to like,
show me where you are, and Ifeel like she does send you a
lot of signs, but I feel likeit's going to be signs that are
both traditional, so in terms oflike birds or feathers or
pennies, but also in terms oflike things that were her, like
I don't know what it is abouther cooking or like the smell of
her food, right, like there'sgoing to be some things that pop
(33:27):
up that remind you specificallyof her, and that's her too.
Okay, yeah, she just loves youso much that she's not going to
present to you in just one way.
She's going to present to youin lots of different ways and I
just keep seeing um, eitherhearing her name, seeing her
name, seeing her initials, likethere's something about like her
(33:50):
too, with with that for you.
And it's less normally when Isay that those people are um,
like when I say, pay attentionto numbers.
Those, those tend to be thepeople that are departed, that
are like bankers or work withnumbers a lot.
Then they'll send numbers.
But because you are in poetry,I feel like she's going to send
you letters.
She's going to send you likeinitials, her name, um, and
(34:13):
things like this.
So pay attention to that herinitials, her name and things
like this.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
So pay attention to
that.
She has a more unique,old-fashioned name, but my
neighbor had a baby about amonth after my mom passed away
and gave her daughter my mom'sname as her middle name, Of
course.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
So that's why I'm
seeing the name.
So that is her letting you knowthat I'm around, and so just
that amazing gentle is herletting you know that I'm around
.
And so just that amazing gentlereminder that whenever you hear
that mom maybe yelling at thischild and saying the first name
and the middle name, you'regoing to be able to hear your
mom's name.
Yeah Well, thank you so muchfor being here today, Katie.
(34:53):
I really appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
Yes, it was great.
Thank you, gosh, take care.
Thank you, you too.
