I'm so excited today because Iwant to talk to you all about
living mediumship.
Yep, that's right, I want totalk to you about living
mediumship and I think we allknow that mediumship with living
people tends to happen a littlebit more as folks are nearing

the phase of death and I thinkthis is something you've
probably heard from me, you'veprobably heard from a lot of
those lovely hospice nurses overon social media, and it is very
common for people who are inand out of consciousness later
in life, closer to passing, forthem to kind of have one foot in
the physical world, one foot inthe spiritual world.

We have to have a funny namefor that.
Everybody Like half in, halfout, they're not committed to
either place and I think it'ssuch a rad idea.
And those of you that aremediums, I'm sure you've seen it
happen, and if you haven't seenit happen yet, I'm sure it will

happen soon to you, becausewe're having this conversation
and you're listening to thisright now and I love it and I
really, really love it because Ithink there is a lot of healing
and closure that can happen assomeone is nearing passing and a
lot of clients that come to mewondering can they do more, can
they make them more comfortable,what can I do for them?

And I think those are lovely,lovely conversations for people
to hear, but I'm not going totalk about that today.
I don't want to talk about thepeople that are close to passing
.
I want to talk about the peoplethat are nowhere near close to
passing and what happens whenthey come through in a
mediumship reading, close topassing, and what happens when
they come through in amediumship reading, because, if
you're anything like me, spiritwill always push the envelope of

the possible with me and makeit so interesting in the way
that they prove that what weknow is this minuscule amount
and there's so much more to thespirit, world, spirit,
communication, mediumship thanwe could ever fathom, and all we

have to do is dream it to bepossible and it will be possible

I think that's the mostinteresting thing about this.
So let's talk about livingmediumship.
Okay, and this isn't the firsttime I've encountered this.
This has actually happenedseveral times, actually right
from the very beginning.
I have to like really rewindback for a moment here, because

this happened right from thebeginning of my metaphysical
journey.
Because at the very beginningof my metaphysical journey, do I
go there?
I'm pausing, I'm like, do I?
I'm going to go there, I'mgoing to really put myself out
on a limb here and, and um putmy crazy on full display for all
of you.
At the very beginning of myspiritual journey, my spiritual

awakening, um, I was at thestage where I was not talking to
my parents.
I had still cut them off, um,and there was a lot of healing
that I need to do for me inorder to let them in.
It was, it was a me problem.
And so, in one of the readingsI had very, very early on, this
(03:14):
excellent practitioner, who I100 percent believe trusts that
what she said was coming throughshe indicated that my father
was coming through, who wasnowhere near dead, by the way,
still alive.
She indicated that my fatherwas coming through, who was
nowhere near dead, by the way,still alive, and she was able to
(03:39):
read him, give loving,unconditional messages to me
from him and allow me to see himfrom a totally different
perspective.
And hey, dad, if you'relistening to this, is this weird
?
Yet I have to go here.
And no, she wasn't connectingpsychically, because the things
that he said in this reading Idon't think he would ever say in
this lifetime.
I do feel like it was true andit came from his soul 100%, but

that actually created so muchhealing for me in my spiritual
journey and allowed me to reallyhave space and accept a
different type of relationshipwith them here in the physical
world, knowing that who they areon the other side as a soul, is
totally different.
And this is what I'm talkingabout when I'm talking about
(04:20):
living mediumship, because youcan tap into the souls of your
living loved ones to get love,perspective, guidance and
healing.
And this is a tool I kind ofhave kept in my back pocket for
(04:41):
a very long time.
I don't advertise that.
I do this because what we do isa little crazy enough already,
and so the idea of livingmediumship I've kind of
personally kept a little bitunder wraps, but it has been an
amazing tool for me for my ownhealing with my immediate family
From with my parents.
It has been amazing for mebecause I tap into the higher

self of my children and I'm likehow do you want me to handle
this?
What do you want me to do aboutyou?
What am I supposed to do, toguide you Right, and they come
in as souls to kind of laughabout the circumstances, which
is always fun, and to give meguidance and love on what to do
about them.
I don't do it very much becauseI think there's a reason that
we're here in the physical world.

I think there's a reason thatwe're here with free will and
needing to make bad decisions,to learn.
So I don't tap into them allthe time, but I will tap into
them when I'm at my wits end andI'm like what am I supposed to
do?
You tell me what you need forme and I'll do whatever you need
to do.
And so this, just so, livingmediumship, it's a thing, right,

it's a thing.
And I think it's even more wildbecause spirit not only likes to
test my limits in this, in thisability, but they also do this
with my students in my beginnersmediumship classes.
And I'm not even joking aboutthis because and I think I may

have mentioned this at somepoint at some on the podcast
because in the last class ofour's mediumship class, probably
a couple iterations ago, Ipulled through a living cat that
this woman had in my class andin my head it was a dead cat.

This is.
I got the evidence of who itwas, got the personality, and
I'm like it's for you.
And I'm pointing to one of mystudents, I'm like I know this
cat is for you and she's like Idon't have a cat like that, dead
, that's dead.
I have a cat that's still alive, like that, and I'm like, oh my
God spirit, I'm gonna kill you.
This is like literally the MOof what they give me 24, seven.
(06:49):
It's just very confusing, right?
I think I expect it, and thensomething.
Then they'll throw somethingelse, they'll throw another
wrench into my giant toolbox andI'm like I don't even know what
to do with this.
There's no basis for this.
I don't know anyone else thatdoes.
Living mediumship.
Why, why, why, why.
But we proceeded to read the cat, and the cat came through in
(07:10):
this reading because the cat atethis is hilarious too many
treats, and it had.
It's like its regular dietarysupply of food was actually just
a whole bunch of treats.
So, as we all know, as peoplewho just snack all the time,
right, eating ice cream all daylong will eventually kill you,
(07:31):
and so that's essentially whatthis cat was coming through to
say.
I know I love treats.
If you want me to live longer,you're going to have to start
feeding me good food, becauseI'm on my path to an expedited
passing.
So this cat came through totell its owner, to tell my
student feed me healthy food.
I want to live longer with you.
Isn't that just wild?

Isn't that just wild?
And like you can't deny theevidence, it's not like I even
know number one that she had acat.
Never mind, I was trying topick up on the psychic energy of
the cat.
I had no idea.
And so this is what I'm talkingabout when I'm talking about
living.
Mediumship is can you?
You can use these tools inmediumship to tap into the souls

of your departed loved one.
You can talk to your higherself.
Why can't you talk to yourfriends and loved ones, higher
selves, right?
Doesn't it make so much sense?
Doesn't it make so much sense?
And so this is just anotheramazing tool that us, as mediums
, can use in our toolbox toenable the healing, the
(08:44):
connections, the resolving ofguilt and trauma here in this
lifetime, so that you can removethe layers of energy and
sadness and depression thatdon't serve us.
I mean, I think it's a reallycool tool, as I really think

about this and spirits in my eargiving me this idea as well,
because it's such a cool tool toseparate out what are what.
What is best let me see if I canphrase this what is best for
our highest selves and thehighest selves of our loved ones
versus what are the systems andthe customs that we are I'm
(09:33):
going to use the word victims ofhere in the physical world,
that make it much harder to, Ithink, act in a soul aligned way
, because the systems in placeshun or frown on some of the
things our soul would reallywant to do here in this physical
world.
Because our souls come fromunconditional love.
(09:56):
Our souls come from wanting thehighest and best good for us
and everyone around us.
They want us to overcomeobstacles.
They want us to heal and be ourbest selves on this journey
here in the physical world, thisjourney here in the physical
(10:20):
world, and sometimes our ego andthe systems that construct our
ego get in the way.
And isn't this an amazing toolfor us to circumvent these
systemic flaws and allow us toclearly see the path that is for
the highest and best selves,for our relationships with our
significant others in thislifetime.
And so if you are everwondering and maybe this is like

the end of this little quickieif you are ever wondering if you
should be tapping into thesouls of your departed loved
ones, the answer is a resoundingyes, and you don't have to tell
them like you don't have to dothis.
And I think what's cool is, whenyou get to level two in at
least Yasui Reiki, they teachyou the distance Reiki symbol.

Is it Hashizen I can't even sayit, it's been a very long time
Hashizen Shonen, I think it is.
And that allows you to tap intothe higher selves of people you
were giving distance Reiki onand ask their higher selves is
it okay, if you receive thishealing, are you accepting of

this healing that I'm about togive you, from a Reiki
perspective and from day one ofReiki learning?
That, yeah, I heard yes and nofrom the higher selves of my
kids right as I send themdistance Reiki to them in the
middle of their school day.
So this is what I'm talkingabout you can tap into the
higher selves, ask for guidance,ask for love, ask for support,

ask about past lives, ask aboutpotential futures, and they'll
give you what you're meant toknow at this time.
So if you're looking for areally fun, unique way to
overcome some of these hurdlesyou're facing in these lives,
with these people, with theseloved ones that maybe you're

having not the easiestconnections with, tap into their
eye ourselves.
If they want to talk to you,they'll talk to you.
If they don't, you won't.
And then you can also use forthose of you that are maybe a
little less versed in the modesof spiritual communication.
You can use tarot cards.

I feel like this has been theyear she's been sick 24, 7, um.
I'm gonna ask for a card fromher higher self to me on what I

You can, while this is oh, oh,god, god, oh, yeah, yeah, okay,

all right.
So the card that popped out wasdeath.
Always a great card.
I think it's amazing for mydaughter too, because she's like
a mini me.
She's a drama queen, she's bigenergy, big empath, all of these
different things, big empath,all of these different things

and the card that you I think weall know what death is like
coming to the end of a cycle andcoming into a new cycle, right,
death and rebirth, and so, likeshe's nine years old, she's on
the beginning of being a tweenand puberty and all these
different things.
So I just I love this, becauseshe is so overly emotional about
everything and as I'm tappinginto her higher self here, as
you're listening to this, she'sasking me to give her more grace
(13:43):
, give her more love.
Just let her be who she is,with these big emotions, but
just let me always be that safespace for her to land on, even
if she doesn't need advice orsupport, like even if she
doesn't need me physicallyfixing the problem.
Just be that safe space for herto kind of put her energy on
and take it from her, becauseshe doesn't know how to process
(14:04):
all of it, and that isdefinitely true today.
I mean, she didn't know how toprocess being sick today at all
because she's been sick 24,seven.
So I mean, so you can use atarot card, you can use a
pendulum, you can to tap intoyour higher self for the highest
and best good of this person.
Right, you can use dousing rodsif you want.
(14:27):
I could go down the rabbit holeon dousing rods?
I won't, but you can reallyjust set the intention to tap
into the higher selves of theseloved ones, using all of your
metaphysical tools and say whatdo you need, what do you want me
to know, how do you want me toaddress this situation, and then
you can do that.
Isn't that so cool?
Isn't that so cool?
I love it's such a tool that Iwas unaware is a tool we should

be using.
Should I say it that way?
And it was just reallyinteresting because once I had
that conversation with anothermedium about how I use living
mediumship and like is this athing?
She's like, yeah, it's totallya thing.
And I was like what, what, what.
And I think this gets to maybethe second point of this
community, because I think allof us tend to do things the way

we've been taught or do thingsthe way that we need, way that
others expect us, maybe clientsexpect us to.
And I think what's going to beso cool in the next 10, 15, 20
years and beyond is this openingup of these other metaphysical
modalities that we don't evenknow are coming in.
Like I see all these books onthese shelves behind me.

We have no idea what's comingin the future with all of these
metaphysical modalities.
So when spirit like drops anugget on you, like a living cat
coming through in a mediumshipdemonstration with your students
, I tend to breeze over that andbe like that was wrong spirit.
Don't do that again, becausethat's the kind of person I am,

because I'm a data person, I'm arules person, right, and
instead of pausing and beinglike huh, that was interesting,
tell me more.
Which is maybe where my curiousbrain should start going when
I'm having these experiences,being more curious because what
they're doing is giving you asneak peek into the future.
They're giving you newmodalities, new ways of
communicating and working withspirit that are going to open up
(16:29):
and help more and more people.
And so embrace these gifts thatspirit is giving you and talk
about it Like, open it up in thecommunity See if someone else
has experienced this becauseeveryone keeps all of these
unique things hush, hush in thisindustry and we don't talk
about a lot of these reallyinteresting, unique things that
happen to us, because we alreadyfeel a little crazy.

And I say that with love,because if you talk to any
medium, we're all making this up, everything that comes out of
my brain.
We are making it up.

So the card that popped out wasdeath.

I think it's amazing for mydaughter too, because she's like
a mini me.
She's a drama queen, she's bigenergy, big empath, all of these
different things, big empath,all of these different things
(13:20):
and the card that you I think weall know what death is like
coming to the end of a cycle andcoming into a new cycle, right,
death and rebirth, and so, likeshe's nine years old, she's on
the beginning of being a tweenand puberty and all these
different things.
So I just I love this, becauseshe is so overly emotional about
everything and as I'm tappinginto her higher self here, as
you're listening to this, she'sasking me to give her more grace
(13:43):
, give her more love.
Just let her be who she is,with these big emotions, but
just let me always be that safespace for her to land on, even
if she doesn't need advice orsupport, like even if she
doesn't need me physicallyfixing the problem.
Just be that safe space for herto kind of put her energy on
and take it from her, becauseshe doesn't know how to process
(14:04):
all of it, and that isdefinitely true today.
I mean, she didn't know how toprocess being sick today at all
because she's been sick 24,seven.
So I mean, so you can use atarot card, you can use a
pendulum, you can to tap intoyour higher self for the highest
and best good of this person.
Right, you can use dousing rodsif you want.
(14:27):
I could go down the rabbit holeon dousing rods?
I won't, but you can reallyjust set the intention to tap
into the higher selves of theseloved ones, using all of your
metaphysical tools and say whatdo you need, what do you want me
to know, how do you want me toaddress this situation, and then
you can do that.

I love it's such a tool that Iwas unaware is a tool we should
(15:02):
be using.
Should I say it that way?
And it was just reallyinteresting because once I had
that conversation with anothermedium about how I use living
mediumship and like is this athing?
She's like, yeah, it's totallya thing.
And I was like what, what, what.
And I think this gets to maybethe second point of this
community, because I think allof us tend to do things the way
(15:25):
we've been taught or do thingsthe way that we need, way that
others expect us, maybe clientsexpect us to.
And I think what's going to beso cool in the next 10, 15, 20
years and beyond is this openingup of these other metaphysical
modalities that we don't evenknow are coming in.
Like I see all these books onthese shelves behind me.
(15:46):
We have no idea what's comingin the future with all of these
metaphysical modalities.
So when spirit like drops anugget on you, like a living cat
coming through in a mediumshipdemonstration with your students
, I tend to breeze over that andbe like that was wrong spirit.
Don't do that again, becausethat's the kind of person I am,
(16:06):
because I'm a data person, I'm arules person, right, and
instead of pausing and beinglike huh, that was interesting,
tell me more.
Which is maybe where my curiousbrain should start going when
I'm having these experiences,being more curious because what
they're doing is giving you asneak peek into the future.
They're giving you newmodalities, new ways of
communicating and working withspirit that are going to open up
(16:29):
and help more and more people.
And so embrace these gifts thatspirit is giving you and talk
about it Like, open it up in thecommunity See if someone else
has experienced this becauseeveryone keeps all of these
unique things hush, hush in thisindustry and we don't talk
about a lot of these reallyinteresting, unique things that
happen to us, because we alreadyfeel a little crazy.
(16:53):
And I say that with love,because if you talk to any
medium, we're all making this up, everything that comes out of
my brain.
We are making it up.
So there you go.
