Transformation happens in the moments we least expect. After years as a corporate powerhouse, I found myself sobbing in my boss's office, then sitting in the only slice of sunlight in downtown Boston—a perfect metaphor for my journey into becoming a spiritual entrepreneur.

Today I'm celebrating becoming a published author in "The Intuitive Entrepreneur," a collaborative book showcasing 21 remarkable intuitive professionals. Writing my chapter was simultaneously the most anxiety-producing and healing experience I've had. Through countless rewrites and tear-filled editing sessions, something magical emerged—the ability to see how every seemingly random decision in my life created a perfect path to this moment.

What stunned me most was witnessing all the synchronicities that guided my transformation from corporate executive to evidential medium. When you place all these moments side by side, the divine orchestration becomes undeniable. It's like getting a preview of your life review before you die—seeing how it all perfectly connects in ways you couldn't recognize while living through it. My husband, who proudly claims to have no emotions, cried reading my story. That's how powerful truth can be when it's finally expressed.

Beyond sharing my journey, I've included an Empowered Soul Attunement meditation that connects you with your highest self for clarity on important decisions. While recording the audio version, I could feel healing energy channeling through—an unexpected bonus for anyone who uses this tool. The book is available now at a special launch price on Amazon. Whether you're curious about intuitive entrepreneurship or seeking your own path to alignment, I hope my story reminds you that even in the darkest corporate towers, there's always a sliver of sunlight waiting if you're brave enough to find it.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello there, welcome back to Empower your Soul.
I am here to announce that I amofficially a published author.
That is right.
I have now published a chapterin the amazing book called the
Intuitive Entrepreneur by DebDessel, and this is an amazing

(00:23):
collaborative effort.
Across, I believe, there's 21or so intuitive entrepreneurs
hence the name of the book whowrite all about their stories,
their adventures, like how didthey become an intuitive
entrepreneur?
How did they use theirintuition?
So not only is it their stories, but in every single chapter

(00:47):
there's also a practical toolthat you get to walk away with.
And I was approached by Deb todo this activity, this book, and
I was like, yes, sounds amazing, because that's me, right,

(01:09):
that's me.
So I knew I wanted to do a book.
I thought this would be anincredible opportunity to start
to get to know this process, because you know me, I'm a
process person.
I will dip my toe in before Ijump in.
So this was an incredibleopportunity for me to understand
what the writing process lookslike, what is the editing
process looks like.
What is the editing processlooks like, what is the
marketing, get the contactsright, so, so not only was it a
win and a slam dunk from thatperspective.

(01:31):
But I loved, love, love theidea of this book being
storytelling and practical toolsand, like I, just I can't
minimize how amazing this bookis.
And, by the way, for the nextcouple days after this podcast
is released, it is going to bereleased at an exclusive rate,

(01:53):
like exclusive rate over thereon Amazon.
So I highly highly encourageyou to run, don't walk to
amazoncom, go to the intuitiveentrepreneur and purchase either
a printed copy or I think thedigital copy is like literally
$1.99.
So, just like go, just go, getit stored in your pocket for a
rainy day when you need some, some book, and it's the best

(02:18):
deal for a book that you couldever imagine.
Like I can't even.
And I have to tell you, throughout the course of writing
this and meeting all of theother professionals in this book
, my brain is blown away.
These are incredibleprofessionals that have been
doing this work for 10, 20, 30,40 years.

(02:41):
These are go getters.
These are not just lazy people.
I'm going to say it because weall know those collaborative
books.
Right, it's a thing.
Right, you've got the lazypeople that are just looking to
very quickly say that they'republished, get it done and it's
a piece of crap, right, but whatI'm telling you about this book
is these people in here aresmart, they're intuitive,

(03:01):
they're go-getters, are they?
They, like many of them, are inso many other books too.
They, they create their ownmodalities.
I mean, the diversity and thebrainpower behind this book is
mind blowing.
It's mind blowing, and so if Ihaven't convinced you enough to
go do this, I don't even.
I don't even know what to tellyou anymore.

(03:22):
So what is so cool about thisbook for me is the process of
actually writing this, and Ifeel do you know how hard it is
to write, like those of you thatare published authors, 100%
respect to all of you, 100%respect, because I literally

(03:45):
wrote one chapter, one chapter, and it was like the most anxiety
producing activity I think I'veever done.
I mean, I thought about things,I rethought about things, I
rewrote things over and over andover again to get the right
wording.
I sent it to all my friends, Igot their feedback, I rewrote.

(04:07):
God, I don't ever want to readmy chapter again.
I hope all of you read it, butI never want to read it again.
But I have to tell you theexperience of writing my chapter
, regardless of the editing.
Maybe I hated the editing, butthe writing was okay.
The writing of it was socathartic.

(04:29):
And when I tell you or when youknow about synchronicities, you
know and I didn't like I'mhesitating to say this because I
want to make sure it comes outthe same way we all believe in
signs and synchronicities.
But then there's this wholeother level about these life

(04:51):
synchronicities, these lifethings that happen that guide
you in the right direction, andI guess I never knew how many of
these happened for me to get towhere I am today, where you're
listening to me on this podcast, because in every single moment
it feels like these odd moments, these odd decisions that don't

(05:14):
make sense, that don't add up.
And then when I was able tokind of put each of these odd
little moments, all these oddstories, these odd things all
together in one story, it allfucking made sense.
And this is what it must belike when we die, like it must
be like this when we die, because you start seeing the

(05:35):
bigger picture, because we arejust trying to survive every
single day, we're just trying toget to the next decision, the
next milestone.
Decisions are hard enough as itis.
So you're sitting therethinking should I, shouldn't I?
What about this, what aboutthis, what about this?
And then you make the decision.
You don't ever really look backto think was that a good
decision or not?
But you move on to the next one, right?
So you're always have theseheads down, stepping forward,

(05:56):
trying to make all thesedecisions to move through your
life in, hopefully, the mostsuccessful, most abundant way
possible, and sometimes, likeit's not even, you just end up
there and you don't know how.
And when you start looking atthese little decisions one by
one together into this bigpicture, I have to tell you my

(06:16):
jaw dropped.
My jaw dropped to see how allof these seemingly disconnected,
unconnected things all fuckingconnected together in my life.
I don't know if I want to giveyou too much about my chapter,
but it is essentially how Imoved from I think I have it in

(06:36):
there as the corporate world'sgolden child which I was into
becoming an evidential medium.
So this is my story about how Iwalked away, how I found out I
was a medium and walked awayfrom the corporate world, and I
know I've talked about it alittle bit here.
But oh man, it is so juicy.
It is so juicy, how, whatactually happened.

(06:58):
And I'm not going to give thisup, but those of you that used
to work with me, you are goingto want to read those book,
especially if you were in theplace that I quit to come here.
And I'll just leave it at thatbecause I know there's a few of
you that listen in.
But it was just I don't know, Ilike I don't even, I don't even
know how to put it this way,but it all fucking made sense.

(07:18):
It all fucking made sense ineach of these little tiny
moments.
And at the end and I'll I'llgive you a little bit of preview
, because after I quit my job,um, I sobbed, and I talk about
that in the chapter I S.
I talk about how I went to goquit and I just ended up sobbing
in my, in my boss's boss'soffice.

(07:39):
It was my boss's balls, not myballs Um, I was sobbing, I
literally sobbed.
I don't cry.
This is the only time I've evercried at work, ever.
Okay, and I was sobbing.
And once our conversation wasdone, I like put my sunglasses
on so no one could see my brightred eyes.
It was super early in themorning, I think it was like 8am
or 8, 830, before anyone reallygot into the office.

(08:02):
So I went downstairs, went downthe escalator sorry, the
elevator went outside and Ididn't know what to do.
You know it's the middle ofsummer, it's a gorgeous morning.
There's so many people comingoff of the South Station train,
downtown Boston, right.
So I, like walked the otherdirection, away from where all
the people were coming off, because you know that I'm going

(08:22):
to see a coworker.
If I don't, I take a left out ofmy building and I I end up
finding this bench and I'm likeI, I just want sun.
I'm like I just want to feelsun.
And I, as I sit down into theon the only sunny bench I can
find in the middle of this verytall downtown, tall buildings
downtown, I look up and Iliterally see that I'm sitting

(08:47):
in the only slice of sunlight indowntown Boston, right there,
and it's like the sun has juststarted peeking through between
the buildings, just a little bitbetween the buildings, just a
little bit, just a little.
And I and I look up and I see, like that, one tiny sliver of

(09:08):
sun is what I've I've sat in.
There's no other sun anywherearound me.
And so, like in the moment.
Um, I'm just like, oh, I'm justso fucking happy I found a
sunny bench and it's nice andwarm and the sun's coming up
Right.
But it was such a metaphorcoming up right, but it was such

(09:29):
a metaphor, such a metaphor forfinding the light, for moving
the fuck away from corporatelight, for finding finding my
way back to my soul and mypurpose, which I was always
meant to do in this lifetime.
So it's it's things like thisthat I'm gonna try not to sob
here.
You go through your life momentby moment by moment, but then

(09:53):
when you actually take a stepback and you see the connection
points, not only that, but butyou have spirit in your ear
telling you the significance ofwhat happened and why it
happened and the way it did.
Oh, my God, y'all.
I always joke about not wantingto go through my life review

(10:16):
with my guides.
I'm like, don't show me that, don't show me that.
I don't want to do this lifereview.
That's going to be horrible.
Don't put this moment in there.
But now I'm like I kind ofcan't wait for it's going to be
fucking awesome.
So I find it completelyappropriate that I'm sitting
here with tears rolling down myeyes because this was me writing

(10:42):
the whole chapter and I Irealized it's a chapter and I
feel like that's ridiculous.
But it was so cathartic and sovalidating and so releasing all
at the same time to see my storyon paper into, not necessarily
like seeking others validation, but to do it for myself and to

(11:04):
see what I've been through andwhat I've been able to
accomplish and how I've beenable to go through that.
And if that is not the bestfeeling of self empowerment, I
have no idea what it is.
And for those of you that havewritten books, I feel like you
know, like I feel like you know, like I feel like there's this
secret, this secret like authorsguild.

(11:24):
There probably is one right, but this, this secret, like no
one talks about how healing itis to write your story, how
validating it is to write yourstory and put it out there and
be like I don't even care ifnobody reads it.
I honestly don't care, becauseI got so much out of it

(11:45):
personally.
I got so much strength andperseverance and like, so, like,
like being able to see myselfobjectively on a piece of paper
that is going to be in a bookand see my story and read how
fucking ridiculous it is, andread the shit that I went
through to get to where I amtoday, like I am fucking proud
of myself.
I'm proud of myself, right, andthat's what that.

(12:10):
So if you have been in areading and you've been told you
should write a book, fuckingwrite a book.
It's amazing.
It's amazing.
This will not be my last.
I feel like this is just thebeginning, but also I'm not
ready to write more.
It was a lot.
It was so cathartic, everybodyit was so cathartic, and I'm

(12:30):
just so.
I made my husband read it.
He cried.
My husband doesn't cry.
Okay, my husband doesn't.
He's like a man's man.
He doesn't have emotions.
He'll tell you.
He'll be the first person totell you I don't have emotions.
What are feelings?
Those don't exist.
And for my husband to read itand cry it meant a lot.

(12:51):
I'll just say it that way.
I'm going to go and cry in acorner now.
But there you go.
That is my story.
And, by the way, for those ofyou that buy the book, there is
a tool, and this tool is Icalled it an empowered soul
attunement.
They suggested I name it aftermy business.
I don't know if that was thebest business decision.

(13:12):
But there it is.
And this, essentially, is atool.
It's a guided meditation thatbrings you a connection to your
highest self to get clarity on adecision or something you need
to do going forward.
So you're going to ask yourhigher self a question or a
problem that you're trying tosolve, and it's a guided
meditation to bring you throughopening a sacred space, bring

(13:33):
you through questions to askyour higher self.
You ask your higher self for aclearing, an attunement, um, a
healing to take place, and thenyou kind of journal it and take
those next steps.
Um, I just recorded, rightbefore this, the actual guided
meditation, because the printedversion is in the book, but I

(13:55):
actually just recorded the, theguided meditation too.
And what was so fucking unrealabout recording the guided
meditation is I'm pretty sure Isent healing into that
meditation too, because I couldliterally feel the attunement
happening.
So I just want to give you thatlittle nugget of gold too that
if you buy this, there's a linkat the end of my chapter to go

(14:16):
get the attunement in the audiovisual format and you click it
and you are also going to get, apparently, healing from me
while you're getting healingfrom your higher self.
So I'm just going to put thatout there for all of you.
I truly and humbly thank all ofyou for being here, listening

(14:36):
to my story, allowing me to bewho I am with all of you, with
my likes and ums and ahs andswears and crying and my
freaking, embarrassing asscrying.
I don't like to cry everybody, why did I get into this line of
work?
But it's moving stagnant energy.

(14:58):
That's what crying is crying, but it's moving stagnant energy.
That's what crying is.
Crying moves stagnant energy.
So I just want to thank you allfor being here and seeing who I
am as an authentic soul, and Idon't think I can ever tell you
how much I appreciate you andthe love that you give me and
the fact that you put up with me, and I send you the same love

(15:19):
in return.
But I don't put up with you, Ijust love you.
All right, I hope you all havea wonderful day.
And again, if you want to gocheck out that book, now is the
time.
Do not snooze on it while it ison the biggest discount it will
ever be on, so go snag it nowon amazoncom.
Again, it's the intuitiveentrepreneur and I hope to see
you there and if you get thatbook.
If you get that book, I amchapter 17, which I found very

(15:44):
ironic.
The last mic drop I'm going togive you is four months.
Before they told me whatchapter number I was, I saw 17
everywhere and 17,.
If you add those together, that's number eight and that's
my number.
I was born on October 8th.
Octo means eight, even thoughit's the 10th month, right, and
I was born on October 8th, so Iam like an eight, eight through.

(16:05):
So chapter 17,.
Y'all All right.
I hope you all have a wonderfulday.
Hit me up, if you have.
If you end up getting that book, let me know.
I want to know how'd you?
