Everyone experiences hard things in life. Sometimes we choose the challenges (like when we go after a goal or try to learn something new) and sometimes we don’t (like when we experience natural disasters, job loss, or the death of a loved one). Whether they’re of our choosing or not, what can we do to better handle them?
In this episode you’ll learn a strategy I call “choosing your hard” that you can use to better handle difficulties in life. This strategy can help you reframe how you think about challenges so they’re easier to handle and you’re better able to persevere through them. Listen in to hear how to apply the strategy and how it can help increase your capacity to make decisions, get things done, accomplish goals, and get through difficult situations.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
