My guest today is Tonia Chagnon. Tonia has always loved an amazing event, and now she creates them as founder and president of Delightful Plans, LLC. Her industry-leading events firm has been delighting clients with fun and energy for nine years, tapping into Tonia’s more than 26 years of events and marketing experience to plan and deliver every detail for more than 400 events in 20 states and three countries. No event is too big or small, as Delightful Plans produces intimate dinners for six, bustling conferences for 3,000, festive holiday parades for 30,000 and just about everything in-between. They specialize in corporate, community and association events. Prior to founding her firm, Tonia worked with Red Thinking, LLC and JP Events & Consulting, where she managed client accounts, including production and event scheduling, advertising, PR and marketing support and more. She discovered her career passion early on while working for a computer development company, planning their training courses. Additionally, Tonia loves giving back and impacting lives. She’s been part of granting 300 wishes as a Make a Wish volunteer, serves on the Board of Directors of Runway to the Cure and is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the GMU Women in Business Initiative.
