Launched in 2006 as About The Church, this podcast has evolved over nearly two decades into a space for honest exploration of faith, growth, and what it means to follow Christ beyond inherited doctrines and dogmas. My name is Cliff Ravenscraft, and Encouraging Others Through Christ is where I share my unfolding journey of deconstructing, questioning, and rediscovering while exploring the teachings of Jesus through the lens of Christ consciousness. This isn’t a Christian podcast in the traditional sense. It’s the perspective of one who follows Christ with openness, honesty, and freedom. No question is off-limits. No belief is untouchable. No journey is too unconventional to be sacred. Note on the archives (Episodes 001–134): These episodes were deeply shaped by my experiences within evangelical and fundamentalist traditions, where certainty, literalism, and strict boundaries often defined faith. Though I see things differently now, I’ve kept them as a record of my journey. They show not only where I once stood but also how my hunger for truth and freedom in Christ was already present, even then. Today, the podcast continues with fresh energy, exploring everything from the teachings of Jesus to mysticism, healing, and spiritual practices. Episodes include personal reflections, authentic questions, and occasional conversations with guests navigating their own faith journeys. This podcast is for those who still love Jesus but no longer feel bound by inherited systems of belief, where doctrine and dogma once stood in the way of living the life Christ calls us to. And it is equally for those who may not identify as Christian at all, yet remain open to exploring the universal truths of love, freedom, and awakening that transcend every path or tradition.
When Jordan showed up for my How May I Serve You? livestream, he came with a familiar question:
"Cliff, you’ve been through big events and big stress. What have you learned about managing it?"
He wasn’t asking about marketing, business models, or strategy. He was looking for relief from the kind of stress that nearly wrecked him two years ago when the weight of his first live event lande...
In today’s episode, I’m sharing something deeply personal.
A story of my spiritual journey, and a soul song that emerged from it.
You’ll hear how one question… “Do you feel like all the layers have been pulled off?” opened up an honest reckoning in me.
This conversation will take you through:
A few years ago, I was captivated by a phrase:
“The more I rest, the more I receive.”
Since then, I’ve been learning to trust that rhythm.
One that doesn’t rush.
One that doesn’t strive.
One that doesn’t measure worth by effort.
Recently, I began to embody this frequency in a deeper way.
As I gave myself permission to rest, and only act from inspired, effortless alignment,
The right people, the right clients, the right con...
The term Christian has worn many cloaks across time.
But if we peel back the layers of doctrine,
institution,
and identity...
at its essence,
to be a Christian originally meant:
One who follows the way,
the life,
and the teachings
of Jesus
the Christ.
Not Jesus as a distant icon.
But Christ as a living frequency.
As divine love embodied.
As the pattern of awakened humanity made visible.
The word Christ...
This episode is one of the most raw, personal, and transformative conversations I’ve ever shared.
Stephanie and I went on another walk. What started as a playful moment—me calling her “feral” in the previous episode—unfolded into one of the most powerful retellings of her entire spiritual journey.
What you’ll hear in this episode:
After nearly a year of silence, Encouraging Others Through Christ is back.
This episode wasn’t recorded in a studio. It was recorded on a walk with Stephanie—just the two of us moving through our neighborhood, moving through our story, and moving back into this space of sacred conversation.
We didn’t plan a grand relaunch. We just hit record and let the truth come through.
In this episode, we reflect on:
From July 2021 through August 2023, I had published many updates about my spiritual faith evolution in this podcast. However, it has now been a whole year since I’ve published anything about my faith journey. This has caused many people to become curious about the sudden silence over the past year.
Today, I woke up, listened to a piece of content that inspired me to create this episode, providing an update on my spiritual ...
In this deeply personal episode, Stephanie and I open up about our intertwined journey of spiritual evolution. Joined by Tony Rinkenberger, we delve into the challenges and triumphs experienced as our beliefs began to shift and expand.
Many in the fundamentalist and evangelical realms worry that their spiritual deconstruction might threaten the stability of their marriage or family. Today, Stephanie sheds light on her pers...
In this episode I sit down with Troy Heinritz, a long-time member of our community, to dive deep into a concept many grapple with on a spiritual awakening journey: the delicate balance between Self and selfishness.
As we explore the notion that to serve others in our highest state of consciousness, we must sometimes prioritize what brings us peace and joy, a question emerges: Is focusing on our own well-being inherently se...
I recently published episode 705 of The Cliff Ravenscraft Show where I invited my great friend, Megan Porta, to have a conversation about our experiences with manifesting success and turning our dreams into reality. We included "The Law of Attraction" in the title.
The feedback that has come in from that episode has been incredible. Most of the feedback was along the lines of surprise that I, Cliff Ravenscraft, am a strong...
In this special episode of the Encouraging Others Through Christ podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with my good friend Lori Hammond. Lori and I met on Clubhouse back during the pandemic and we quickly bonded over our shared interest in hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
Lori recently responded to a Law of Attraction episode I published in episode 705 of The Cliff Ravenscraft Show.
She wrote... "Someday I would love to have a...
This episode is a followup conversation with my friend Brian Dixon that was shared back in episode 150 of this podcast.
Towards the end of our previous conversation, Brian shared his extensive religious education - a master's degree from a Bible college - and his lifelong commitment as a Bible-believing Christian. He expressed his love for defending the "Word of God".
With this in mind, I had invit...
In this episode I shared an audio clip from Pete Briscoe and his podcast titled "KindaVangelical." My friend, Richard Marcotte, pointed me to Pete's podcast recently and I was really moved by the metaphor he uses of "the house" to describe the the journey of those who are stepping away from the evangelical church.
As someone who started the process of walking away from evangelicalism over a decade ago, I had forg...
In Episode 147, "Facing The Fear of Being Shunned: Navigating Spiritual Awakening & Deconstruction," I delved into the varied responses I received to my Facebook post on my Spiritual Awakening and Deconstruction journey. My friend Brian Dixon voiced some concerns about my post, my intention to create a space for others on a similar path, and my exploration of God's truth beyond biblical confines.
Over the next few days...

In today's episode of Encouraging Others Through Christ, I reveal more insight around my personal journey of spiritual awakening and deconstruction, a process that has been unfolding since 2020.
I recount how I've been disassembling the long-held beliefs I had unknowingly taken on from my religious upbringing, and the reactions from some of my previous faith community.
This episode explores my anxieties about this path's p...
In this episode, I am joined by my friend Michael Sebastien in another conversation in my EOTC Mystery School discussion series.
The overall topic for this episode is "How do you evaluate a text or teaching that presents itself as "inspired," "Spiritual" or "from God?"
As promised at the end of the episode, you can CLCK HERE to listen to Michael's podcast interview about Modern Druidry on the Two Inches Off The Ground...
This morning, I felt promoted to write a journal entry starting with the phrase... "Choosing My Own Path." After realizing that this prompting was not going to go away, I sat down and began to write whatever came to me.
In this episode, I share that full journal entry with you.

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
