Playoff 2022 Special

In this episode, Shawna and Jen talk to Sheri Rhoades of Cameron Yoe HS. Sheri shares all of the places they have been in their 30+ year coaching life. If you have moved schools a lot, some of you can really relate to all of the moves.

Sheri tells of their experience of leaving a school and coming back to it years later. She also mentions how to handle when people speak untruths about your family and how they have handled it in their career.

Other topics include:

  • The difference between large schools and small schools.
  • What it's like to live with a family of coaches.
  • The difference between the regular season and the playoffs.
  • A loss doesn't mean coaches didn't prepare.

Shawna and Jen love to hear each coach's wives experience.  Sheri shares...

  • A favorite stadium memory.
  • How to make Thanksgiving easy while in the playoffs.
  • A favorite playoff memory and it is so precious.
  • The biggest change over the years in the coaching world.

In the end, the ladies get a little history lesson about what a Cameron Yoe Yoeman is and how they came up with that mascot.
