Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Endorphasmic, where we talk
about all things endorphasm.
I am your hostess, erica Porter.
Movement is the gift we created.
Exercise we humans made it up.
Why?
Because we've stripped basicmovement from our lives.

(00:24):
We've engineered convenienceinto every corner of our day and
in the process, we've stoppeddoing the one thing our bodies
were designed to do move.
And let me say this as a womanwho has dedicated more than 30
years of her life to the health, fitness and wellness industry.

(00:45):
You do not need to join a gymto move.
I said it.
It's crazy, right, but here'sthe truth.
Movement doesn't belong to thefitness industry, it belongs to

(01:06):
you.
Every human body, every singleone, was built to move.
There is no exception to thatrule.
The real tragedy I can't evenspeak the real tragedy is that
we've disconnected from it.
We treat movement likepunishment, like something we

(01:30):
have and I'm putting that inlittle air quotes, you can't see
me, but there's little airquotes something we have to do,
like some shallow strategy toand I put this in quotes again
look better naked.
But what if I told you movementis a gift, a gift of life, a

(01:52):
gift of freedom of expression,of survival.
It's your lifeline back toyourself.
The beauty of the world we livein today is that you get to
choose how you move.
You get to find what lights youup, what makes you feel alive.
That's flow.

(02:12):
Flow is endorphasm, and ithappens in different ways for
different people.
For me, I searched for years.
I tried everything, every class, every modality, trying to
quiet the noise in my head, trying to find confidence in my

(02:34):
skin, trying to feel whole, andit wasn't until I stepped in to
a HIIT class.
It was a bootcamp class atGold's Gym in Manhattan Beach,
california.
I stepped into that HIIT classand it clicked.
I had my moment, the moment thebullshit got stripped away and

(03:02):
I got closer to my soul.
I didn't just find physicalstrength, I found personal power
, and that moment changed mylife forever.
I made it my mission to helpothers do the same, to reconnect
with the part of themselvesthat's buried, buried, buried,

(03:28):
buried, buried, buried or buried, buried underneath the fear,
the shame, the self-doubt.
To strip away the bullshit andget to the soul.
But let me be real with you.
Most of what's out there, it'smediocrity, and I'm not here to

(03:51):
cater to mediocrity.
Most people want to work outjust enough to say that they did
Not enough to get uncomfortable, but that discomfort, that's
the magic zone.
It was for me and it's not foreverybody.
That's where growth lives, notjust in your body, but in your

(04:12):
mind, your character, yourresilience.
We live in a world that avoidsdiscomfort like the plague, a
world that's forgotten how to dohard things.
We crave ease, speed, shortcutsand we wonder why we feel so
empty.

(04:32):
So I built a brand, a movement,a revolution, not around what's
easiest, but around whatchallenges the hell out of you.
A space that welcomes everyonebut challenges anyone.
Modifications always, butsettling never.

(04:52):
Because even though the needfor everyday movement has been
stripped from our lives, thetruth is it's still just as
necessary as it's always been.
But instead we let the fitnessindustry sell us a lie that
movement is about aesthetics, that it's about chasing abs or

(05:16):
numbers on a scale.
No, motherfuckers, movement isabout life, it's about
connection and survival, andfreedom and confidence.
Movement is not a punishment, itis a privilege, it's a return

(05:38):
to your power.
So, yeah, fuck, look betternaked.
How about feel better in yourskin?
Move better, live longer, bestronger, control your
controllables.
Stop drowning in diet trendsand distractions.

(05:59):
Stand in front of the mirror, not to judge your body, but to
look yourself in the eyes andask yourself the eyes, and ask

(06:19):
yourself am I living the life Itruly want, in a body that is
strong, capable and connected?
And, more importantly, how do Imake people feel when I walk
into a room?
You were made to move.
You were made to rise.
You were made to feel yourpower, not fear it.

(06:39):
Movement isn't something youowe to anyone else.
It's something you owe to yoursoul.
So move, not for the mirror, not for the scale, but because
it brings you back to you.
That is endorphasm.
If you've ever wondered thepower of the feeling, the

(07:04):
feeling of the power, love, health and happiness, and always
much respect.
