My name is Carmella Y. Watts, and I have been studying astrology since 2005. I have a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida, with a Minor in Sociology. have been in hospitality for over 25 years, and been working with the public for over 30 years in various careers. I came to be introduced to astrology in 2002, when I had a health crisis.  After I had given birth to my son in 1999, I suffered from severe postpartum depression. So, in a Dark Night of the Soul moment, I reached out in prayer and asked Whomever my Higher Power was (if there was one...my relationship with the Divine was pretty much non-existent at the time...), for HELP. I know I needed guidance on how to get better, but I didn't know how or what to do.   So, after I wiped my tears and took a deep breath, I whispered to myself, that if I was going to continue living in this gosh forsaken World, then, DAMN IT, I was going to be Happy!  It was in that moment I just so happened to look down on the passenger side of my 1999 GMC Jimmy, and it there was sitting; a Natural Awakening Magazine, I had picked up, somewhere, somehow. I opened to the back of the magazine, and found a whole list of natural wellness practitioners and practices, some of which I had never heard of. And it was in that moment, in 2002, that my Life changed.  Forever. It was in these pages that I was lead to learn about Reiki, meditation, energy, and most importantly, I discovered Astrology. And in 2005, after receiving my level 3 Reiki certification, and having gone to numerous meditation classes and alternative healing workshops, I knew that I wanted to deepen my study of astrology. It seemed to call to me.  As if the symbols themselves were inviting my curious nature to explore what those mystical hieroglyphs were really saying to me. I began to think differently.  I began to understand things, somehow, different. I had been thinking thoughts I had never even considered before. It was in this new found awareness that I KNEW, this was my calling. And my saying YES to this calling has changed my Whole of Life DRAMATICALLY.   There are not enough words to describe the impact astrology has had on me.  On my BEING.  On my definition of what it means to BE Human in this reality. And now, all these years later, it is my DEEP PASSION and Mission, to assist those who are also being called into this mystical and ancient field of study. I have gotten to go to Greece in 2015 to study the roots of astrology. I have walked with the ancestors, and continue to walk with the stars, who speak to me daily on the mysteries that exist right in front of us. Astrology is a calling.  A friend.  A companion.  A great Teacher.  A mystic.  An Ancestor.
