Episode Transcript
Bible says in Matthew 26 verse 41, watch and pray so that you
will not fall into temptation. The Spirit is willing, but the
flesh is weak. Heavenly Father, I come before
you today acknowledging my need for your help.
Lord, I confess that I am weak on my own.
I am vulnerable to the temptations that surround me,
(00:22):
but I look to you my refuge and my strength.
You are the one who is able to keep me from falling and to
present me blameless before yourthrone of grace.
Father, I ask that you would guard my heart and my mind.
Let no evil desire take root in me.
Help me to recognize temptation when it comes, and give me the
courage and strength to flee from it.
(00:44):
Let me not be deceived by the empty promises of sin.
Instead, fill me with a hunger for righteousness and a thirst
for Your presence. When the enemy comes in like a
flood, Lord, raise up a standardagainst Him.
When my flesh is weak, strengthen me by Your spirit.
When I feel drawn to what is wrong, remind me of who I am in

You, redeemed, set apart, and called to live in holiness.
Lord, fill my heart with Your Word so that I might not sin
against You. Let Your truth be my shield and
my defense. Surround me with godly friends
and mentors who will encourage me to walk in Your ways.
Help me to fix my eyes on Jesus,the author and finisher of my
(01:27):
faith. Thank you, Father, that no
temptation has overtaken me except what is common to
mankind. And You are faithful.
You will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear.
But when I am tempted, You will also provide a way out so that I
can endure it. I declare that I am more than a
conqueror through Christ who loves me.
(01:48):
I choose to submit myself to You, Oh God, I resist the devil
and he must flee from me. Thank you for the victory that
is mine in Jesus name. Create in me a clean heart oh
God, and renew a right spirit within me.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.
