Linda Hartsfield & Chris Purvis: Allatoona Lake

Chris Purvis, Lead Ranger for the Army Corps of Engineers on Allatoona Lake, explains that Cherokee County is home to the third busiest corps lake in the nation. This beautiful destination hosts more than 9 million visitors annually, shares 270 miles of shoreline with Bartow and Cobb counties, and boasts more than 600 campsites.
