In this week’s episode, Denise and Samantha discuss ways to determine if you are the recipient of gaslighting. This can happen with family, friends, intimate relationships but also through the social media and the news.
Gaslighting makes you second guess yourself. It erodes your ability to trust your own inner knowing. Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that slowly but surely chips away at your inner sanctity leaving you feeling unmoored and filled with doubts. It often leaves people feeling confused and doubting their own beliefs and decision-making capabilities due to the eroding feeding of false information.
