about all the energy I got.
Now I'm tired.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
There's Red Bulls in
the fridge.
Mitch, there's Red Bulls in thefridge.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I've already had two
energy drinks today.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Two Is that why you
have food poisoning, or you
think you have food poisoning?
Speaker 1 (00:20):
No.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Are you just like?

We're going to talk about meand Mitch's favorite wrestlers.
We don't have Hayden, so wedon't have to suffer through
(00:48):
that.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
I was told I get an

a year.
Well, it's WrestleMania.

Slash entertainthis underscore.
Was it that hard?
That was not hard.
Well, it's not fair.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
You're reading it, so
were you for four years.
Most of the time I'm trying todo it off of memory.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Four years of you and
your Captain America shield
notebook would flip open andread it out and bobble it.
There's no timeouts inpodcasting.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
We changed the social
media this last year, so it's
not fair that I had to memorizeand then I had to try to
re-memorize it.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
You're feeling like a
heel Mitch.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Sometimes I gotta do
what's best for business.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Feeling like a heel
Mitch.
Look at me Wrestling words.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Things, chairs.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Ladders Cages Canvas
Mike Sweat.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
So I was going to do
top ten wrestlers, but Tom said
he only has six.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
So I'm doing top five
.
I asked for five.
I had 20 written down Because Ithought five would be a little
bit more of a discussion.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah, I had 20
written down, but he said let's
do five.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I was like okay, well
, mitch, we don't need everyone
who's ever wrestled ever.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
No, not even half the
people that I know.
That's wrestled.
I mean, there's a lot more.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
I know there's a lot
more.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Like you know, I like
doing Macho man voice, but he's
not even in my top 20.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
What?
Yeah, you don't have Macho manRandy Savage, your namesake, no,
no, no, I'm ashamed.
He was close to being likenumber 21, 22.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
He hears this he's
dead Still.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
He's hearing it now.
He's upstairs, he's on a cloudwith big sunglasses on looking
down going what the hell?
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Well, we can jump
right into it.
Since Tom knows less wrestlersthan I do, I'll let him go first
.
So I had six, we'll go withfive.
I'll narrow it down.
All right, I'll take people youdon't my honorable mention at
number six.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Then is Bill Goldberg
.
Okay, I was always a big fan ofBill Goldberg.
I thought he was an awesomewrestler undefeated, he would
just come out, take out whoeverit was, and I know some matches
were kind of like you shouldhave lost.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
That, or they were
five seconds long.
Because he spears, the guysuplexes him and he's done.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Yeah, from what I
heard, he was also kind of like
he would hurt people Eh.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Bret Hart was a
crybaby about it, but yeah,
sometimes.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Yeah, I got Bret Hart
.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, he's a crybaby.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
I don't like Bret
Hart.
He's not on my list.
That's why I have like pinkishpurple, mirrored sunglasses in
honor of Bret Hart.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yes, I know he's not
dead, he's like Chris Jericho.
You just made the list click, click wasn't loud enough.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
I don't have a clicky
pen in front of me, click it in
front of the mic.
There you go.
You're on the list yeah yeah,so let's start with your number
five oh, my number five.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
I'm still trying to
narrow it down.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I was gonna let you
go first, um all right, I can go
first yeah, okay, go, go go mynumber five, andre the giant
okay, that's one low ones off mylist.
I think he was a absolutelymassive, not you know massive
man.
A massive contributor towrestling.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
He was like was it
the 8th winner of the world?
Speaker 2 (04:30):
I think that's what
he was called the 8th winner of
the world, andre the Giant.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Because he could
literally palm people's heads
with his hand.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
It was just such an
amazing gimmick for wrestling to
have someone that big and thatlikable.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah, I mean, like,
from what?
Like?
I watched the documentary andstuff about him.
Actually Hayden watched it too.
It was pretty interesting.
But I mean he was, he was justlike a really just nice, fun guy
, unless you made him mad, likeif you.
There are stories about peopleyou know saying wrestling was
fake and he did not like.
He did not take that kindly.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Or other wrestlers
who pissed him off and he was
not having it when they got inthe ring Exactly.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
There was a lot of
times where he said that if
Andre didn't agree with who'sgoing to win, they're not going
to win, Because when Hulk Hoganwas supposed to body slam him in
front of the world, Hogan waslike I don't know, did you talk
to Andre he's?
Like uh, hogan was like I don'tyou know you should.
Did you talk to andre?
He's like well, I don't know ifandre's gonna go along with
that.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
And he didn't know
until andre said pick me up
which is wild, because I wasjust thinking that too and I was
like the probably was atwrestlemania 3 where hulk?
Hogan lifted andre the giantover his head and like, slammed
him and everybody's just like,and everybody's like oh, that's
the first time anybody's everlifted.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Andre, which actually
it wasn't, but it was like the
first time, live on TV.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Well, it was the
first time a person was recorded
doing it.
Yeah, because forklifts didn'tcount.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Well, I mean they had
done it.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Everybody thinks like
the classic Andre the Giant
story where he got so drunk hepassed out in a hotel lobby and
they left him there becausebecause six dudes couldn't even
lift him up to get him out, people just walked around him.
It's just Andre.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
He's fine.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
I liked Andre the
Giant.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
He was a nice guy.
Granted, I acted like I knowhim, but from the things I'd
seen, From what I'd heard, everybody spoke very highly of
the guy.
The story stuff about PrincessBride.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Exactly, that was
exactly what I was going to
bring up, princess Bride, wherehe was worried that everybody
would just be freaked outbecause of how big he was or how
good his English was or how badhis English was.
But everybody just treated himlike he was just another member
of the cast on the crew and hehad the most fun time, even
though he couldn't hold up RobinWright because he had back pain
, because of his gigantism.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah, because towards
the end of his life he had real
bad knee and back problems.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
But he was a legend
in the ring.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
He was the world's
largest man.
Anyways, on to the next one.
For number five, I'm going togo with Roman Reigns.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Roman Reigns.
Isn't he the current?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
He's the tribal chief
.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
He's the tribal chief
.
He's the tribal chief.
Isn't he the currentheavyweight champion, or was?
Speaker 1 (07:08):
that last year he
lost last year.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
He lost last year.
Who did he lose to Cody Rhodes?
Cody Rhodes.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Yeah, dusty Rhodes'
son oh a legacy, a legacy
wrestler.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
I guess wrestling
really is a family business.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah, dusty Rhodes,
then you had Dustin Rhodes,
which?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
is his oldest son.
Then you have Cody Rhodes andyou got Dusty Hill, dusty
Springfield.
Well, dusty Hill's member is EZTop and Dusty.
Springfield sang that song, sonof a Preacher man.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I was like I have no
idea you gotta tie it all in
Mitch.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
It's a big universe.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Time is a flat circle
, I mean well, yeah, I mean, you
know Roman Reigns, he's let'ssee, he started probably I think
it was like 2012 or so, butyeah, I mean he's pretty much
the biggest attraction in prowrestling in the world right now
.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
He also holds the
record for the longest reign as
champion, which you know.
Granted, you know it is what itis, but I think it's three or
4,000-something days.
He was champion for like threeor four years.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Three or four years
yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Nobody could beat him
.
Granted, he's a bad guy.
People would help him out towhere he would win sometimes,
but he never lost, you know what?
And then he actually ended upbecoming the double champ.
They had the UniversalChampionship and then they had
the World Championship.
Well, he won them both and hehad them both.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
He was a double
belter.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Yeah, nice, he'd
always come out and just hold up
both belts.
And everybody would be like boo, he's the Rock's cousin.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
You know what?
All right, now you say it.
I've got to see the resemblance.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, he was in the
movie Hobbs and Shaw as part of
the Rock's family in that one aswell.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
When they go to
Hawaii they have to fight off
the.
Is that like?
The ultimate career move inwrestling is?
Speaker 1 (08:52):
to make it to movies.
I think that's what they'reworking on Most of the big names
in wrestling.
That's what they move to, John.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Cena Batista, the
Rock Stone Cold, steve Austin
Goldberg, santa Slay Ho ho hoesAlso, where he met his wife.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Hulk Hogan.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Hulk Hogan.
I think probably Hulk Hoganmight have did it first with
Rocky III.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yeah, I think so.
He was probably one of theearliest ones to do that.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Before Andre the
Giant did it, because I think
Princess Bride was like 1988.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
What was Rocky III?
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Rocky III, I think
was like 1988.
Rocky three, rocky three, Ithink was like 1981, 82, because
, uh, rocky four is 1985 and Ithink rocky five is 1990 okay,
who's your next one?
My next Bret Hart.
I always liked Bret Hart.
(09:48):
I thought Bret Hart was so coolbecause he'd come out with the
pink mirrored sunglasses thatwere wrapped around like Cyclops
, Like the dark black and thevibrant colors, the long hair,
all sweaty.
He'd come down and he was avery technically proficient
wrestler.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Well, I'll just say
they've made up him and the WWE
as far as the way things used tobe.
But at one point he was leavingWWE because it's a show he
refused to lose and lose thechampionship.
He wanted to leave WWE and goto WCW and never lose his
championship.
It's a show, you can't justtake the belt with you when you
(10:27):
go.
And he refused to do it.
So they had Shawn.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Michaels.
Yeah, Shawn.
Michaels rolled him up and theycounted real fast and he was so
mad yeah that's the storyUndertaker tells on a podcast
where it's like we're all in thelocker room and everybody's
losing it, like what the hell?
And Vince McMahon comes in andthen like bret hart stand there
and like he's like there's likea crowd and bret hart's like I'm
gonna go take a shower and getchanged.
If you're still here, I'm gonnaknock you out.
(10:51):
Yeah, and then sean michaelswith to say something.
Everybody turned to seanmichaels.
The undertaker was like youneed to shut the f up and go
somewhere else, sean, before youget hurt.
And they were like and BretHart was like he went, he
showered, he cleaned up, gotdressed, came out.
Vince McMahon was still thereand the Undertaker was like
there was like eight peoplebetween the two of them and he
(11:12):
landed a punch and knocked downSteve McMahon or Vince McMahon.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
And it's like that's
legendary stuff.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
That's legendary
stuff.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Well then there was
that.
And then he didn't likeGoldberg because he said
Goldberg didn't know how towrestle Because Goldberg gave
him a concussion one time theway Goldberg tells it he was
going to go.
You know, he told him, hey, you're going to do a kick or
whatever, and Goldberg went tokick him and he didn't like go
with it or whatever.
So he just got kicked in theface by Bill Goldberg.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, who's who's a
big dude.
They never get along after that.
How big is Bret Hart?
I feel like we need baseballcards to get stats.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
I know.
See, if I had my charger frommy computer, I'd have all this
pulled up.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Mitch, you need to be
more prepared on this show.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
That's funny.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
It is funny.
It is funny.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Are you?
Speaker 2 (12:02):
looking to hit Bret
Hart.
I am, he's 67 years old.
It's exactly.
Are you looking at Bret Hart?
I am All right.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
I'll look up.
I think he's 67 years old.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Let's look up Bill
Goldberg height Just to get a
comparison of the size of theseguys as we go through.
I mean Goldberg 6'4".
Speaker 1 (12:21):
I don't know why I
can't just find Wikipedia.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Bret Hart's 6 feet
tall.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah, 6 foot and 235
pounds.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah, Goldberg was
probably like 270 or something.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yeah, because I think
he was like 270, 260 or
something like that he was alarge, large man.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I bet that hurt, I
bet that smarted.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Well, and then if you
watch like, you can tell the
difference between when hespears people and when other
people are spearing people Likehe actually knew what he was
doing.
So when he spears, it lookslike it hurts.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah, I mean Goldberg
looked like he was doing it,
because I mean he playedfootball at UGA.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah, played football
at UGA and he went pro.
Yeah, he was with the Falconsfor a little while.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
I think he was with
the Falcons he didn't start, but
he was with the Falcons.
I think he was with theDolphins.
Oh, I don't know I could bewrong, I could be wrong.
He was with the Rams.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Okay.
And then he was with theFalcons, then he was with the
Panthers, but that was like anoffseason but first team, all
SEC, yeah, so he knows how totackle moving on to our next one
, because I want to try and havemy team and your team, which
I'm going to do something hereshortly, I got to pick my number
(13:30):
one, which is Undertaker.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Undertaker was my
number one.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I had to take
Undertaker.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
I feel like
Undertaker is an unfair choice.
Do we just want to talk aboutUndertaker now?
Yeah, I mean, why not?
I really think Undertaker isthe unfair choice.
I really think Do we just wantto talk about Undertaker now?
Yeah, I mean, why not?
All right, I really thinkUndertaker is the ultimate face
of wrestling.
Yes, I think he is the greatestthing that wrestling has put
out in probably the last 25, 30years.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
I agree.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Oh, go ahead.
His like whatever, like hislike action, kind of guy crap in
like the late 80s into the 90s,because he kind of fell off.
I'm like watching likeinterviews with him.
He's like they're like pitch methis like undertaker thing or
like they pitched him somethingand he threw in like this
undertaker bit and they kind ofmelded well, no, he he was
(14:13):
originally.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
He was called mean
mark calloway.
Yeah, he was mean mark wellthen, uh, vince mcmahon talked
to him and he hey, I got thisgreat idea for you.
Well, at the same time, wwf hadthis giant egg on the screen
and they were talking aboutleading up.
They had a countdown and hegoes.
I just know I'm going to beEggman, Because they had all
(14:35):
sorts of gimmicks.
They had the dentist and thegarbage man.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
The guy in the black
glittered-out Stormtrooper
helmet who knocked himself outwhen he entered the room.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, undertaker.
He just knew he was going to beEggman when he came to WWF.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
But they ended up
making the Undertaker character.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
He came in with that
and he's dead.
He's just back here to fightfor the what was it?
$10 million man, ted DiBiase.
But then he had that wholegimmick where he hardly ever
said anything.
He had the announcer, which wasRichard, something I can't
(15:12):
remember his last name, but hehad a white suit and stuff.
It was the guy that walkedaround with him.
But yeah, undertaker, he wentfrom the uh like dead man, like
kind of what he called the uhcrypt keeper, not uh yeah,
something like that like an oldwest kind of uh it did have
western look to him yeah, wellthen he got to like the super
(15:34):
goth where he even had like alittle like a teardrop on his
eye.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Yeah, he had like a
little eyeliner, he did the eye
thing, which I don't know how hedoes.
That, yeah, and then like theblack out the leather and they
he had like a little eyeliner.
He'd do the eye thing, which Idon't know how he does.
That yeah, and then like theblack hat, the leather, and
they'd bring him out in like acoffin.
I mean you watched wrestling inthat time to be watching and
all the lights would go out andyou thought your TV went out but
you still heard the music andthen you heard the bell and it's
like Undertaker, everybodywould be like yes, it's the
(16:06):
Undertaker, yeah, he's alwaysbeen my favorite, yeah, and he
seems like an awesome dude.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Well, his interviews
are absolutely amazing.
I mean he's actually got hisown podcast as well.
We're six feet under which Ilisten to a good bit.
I don't know if it's where he,like I said, I haven't listened
to it a whole bunch, but he'sgot some friend with him that
got him into doing the podcaststuff and a whole bunch.
But he's got some friend withhim that got him into doing the
podcast stuff and now he reallyenjoys it.
He'll have Glenn.
Jacobs, which is Kane.
He'll be on there.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
sometimes he's had a
couple other people on there he
was marketed as his brother, theUndertaker's brother, kane.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Undertaker's one of
those characters.
He went from being the Old Westkind of Undertaker to the
Gothic Undertaker.
Then he became the the biker.
Then he went back to theoriginal Deadman Undertaker
thing.
It was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Didn't he get lit on
fire?
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
And he never broke
step.
He's like I just have to kindof keep walking.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Well, that's what
they had in Elimination.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Because they effed up
the pyrotechnics.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yeah, at the
Elimination Chamber one year, he
chamber one year.
He was walking out and the pyrowas supposed to go off or
whatever.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Well, it went off at
the wrong time and he had third
degree, or I think he said tothe second or third degree,
burns before the match evenstarted and then he wrestled for
an hour what a man.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
But like, yeah, it
like lit his coat on fire and he
kind of, like you know, jumped, swirled his coat, threw it off
and walked to the ring.
That's like, all right, make itwork.
Yeah, there was several timeslike he was putting a casket and
it was lit on fire, though.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, or like they'd
wheel out the casket but he
wouldn't be in it and then he'dpop up somewhere and it's like
100 seconds.
Yeah, it's like he's a craftyman.
I was watching.
You really think, like the last30 years of wrestling and you
look, you try to break down topwhatever moments he's in most of
them.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Like the cage match.
Oh which one.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
The one where he
launched the dude off.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Launched the dude
Mankind Mick Foley.
Yeah, and he broke his shoulder.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
He had all these
injuries knocked out Concussion,
doesn't even remember it and itwas his idea and he's like what
are you out of your mind?
While they're up there, andthen the cage was like giving
out underneath them and he fellthrough it.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
They went to the top
and like that wasn't supposed to
happen Because mankind climbedto the top after, vince told him
do not do that.
Yeah, that's too high up.
So they went up there and thenhe got thrown off.
I think he dislocates hisshoulder.
I want to say like fractured arib or something like that.
Well, they had to help him butgurneyed him off after they
(18:30):
raised the cage with Undertakerstill standing on top and as
they're going up the ramp, he'slike am I on the stretcher?
Yeah, so he starts getting up,walking back to the ring with a
dislocated shoulder, somehowclimbs to the top and as,
walking back to the ring with adislocated shoulder, somehow
climbs to the top and as they'rewalking around on top that's
like they said when they got upthere or when they looked at it
before the match it wasn't heldtogether with little like zip
ties as long as they werewalking, they were just like
(18:51):
pinging off.
And then when he went to likethrow him down, he wasn't
supposed to go through it.
He said they just gave way.
But he said that the onlyreason that he didn't end up
dying when he fell because he,if he'd actually lifted mankind
up, he would have landed on hishead, because if mankind was
just Mick Foley was just so likedrained and kind of out of it
that he never, he couldn'tactually jump.
(19:11):
So he just kind of fell back, which he landed on his shoulders
instead of his head.
And when he did, when he'ssitting there, I always thought
it was a booger, like just snotcoming out of his nose.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
No, he split his lip.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
His tooth was
sticking out of his nose.
Somehow he'd gone up throughthe inside and was sticking out.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah, and it was one
of the most legendary moments in
wrestling.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
And before that match
the Undertaker actually had a
fractured ankle so he just tapedit up and was wrestling.
He jumped down from the top andlanded.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
Warriors.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Yeah, from the top
Warriors, the Undertaker,
there's a lot of cage matches,though he's in.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Oh yeah, I've watched
them when I was a younger boy.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
It's one of my top
five matches that we'll talk
about.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
I guess my next guy
Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Yeah, he was on my
list.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
I like that.
He's the ultimate heel.
Not always, but that's what youremember.
You know the monster truck, thesix packs of beer.
Well, he wasn't the heel.
Then he was after the manAustin 360, and he'd smash two
beers together.
I just remember his legs likecrap, it's the stone.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Well, there's one
promo that I keep seeing.
They were from back, I guess itwas in the 90s, but it was him
and the Rock and the whole promois just.
I forgot the name of the song.
But basically the whole thingis like they're kind of like
clashing the beers together orwhatever, and all of a sudden
one hits it harder.
They take a swig, then the Rocklooks at him, smashes it harder
(20:37):
, stone Cold looks at him, andthen they just start swinging
and punching each other.
It's pretty funny.
But yeah, people still, eventhough Stone Cold hasn't been on
there you know more than justappearances in years they still
go what Every time, because thatwas something he came up with.
Whenever somebody would juststart talking, he would just
(20:57):
interrupt them and go what, what?
That's how I had the buttonbefore.
What that's how I had thebutton before what, what.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
It was funny Because
you hear like the glass break,
yeah, and it was like stone cold.
And it was a lot of his behindthe off the canvas or outside
the ring antics too with thecameras, where he was like
throwing people through windowsor something.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Well, the whole
Austin 316 thing where he
started using that, it was justlike he just something that came
to him in the middle of aninterview and then it was
popular with everybody, so theyjust ran with it.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, and then he had
the shirts.
Everybody was like you'd seepeople at school all the time at
that time with Austin 316shirts because it was Stone Cold
, steve Austin, yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Well, now he runs his
own tequila business.
Since you took Stone Cold, I'mgoing to take the Rock.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
You can have the Rock
.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
The Rock is the
biggest name in wrestling.
Why?
Speaker 2 (21:49):
Because he's.
The Rock the transformation towhat he is now the roided up
49-year-old guy that we see nowhe's got to be on.
He's on something.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
He's twice the size
from when he was a full-time
wrestler.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
You're an actor.
Before he was wrestling threeto four times a week.
He would work out in betweenand go wrestle.
Now all he does is work out andthen go film and then work out.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
I hear he's not a
nice guy.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I've heard that he's
pretty nice when there's cameras
.
Well, maybe, but one of hisregiments he works out, or at
least he says he used to likefour hours a day.
So it makes sense why he'sthree times his size.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Because everybody
sees the Rock now and you think
of the movies.
It's like those of us who areold enough to remember when he
was a wrestler and he had hairand the eyebrow.
It's like can you smell whatthe Rock is cooking?
We remember that crap.
But it was never like, oh, it'sthe Rock.
I was never like, oh, wow, theRock.
It's like, oh hey, there he is.
He starts out as the Scorpion.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
King, yeah, and then
he got a movie about it, yeah
Well, yeah, I think they werefilming the movie at the same
time that he was filming theMummy 2.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Well, yeah, because I
think he did the Scorpion King
first in Mummy 2 and the MummyReturns, and then he got the
standalone film.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Which is probably
better than the second Mummy
movie if.
I remember them both correctly.
You mean no.
The peanut gallery wishes to.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
There's a microphone,
you can come over.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
You want to sit down
and weigh in?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
I'm going to get the
microphone and walk that way.
She's like don't you dare?
Well, yeah, the.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
CGI was not great.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
You can't count CGI
from the 90s.
This is 2002.
Hell yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Well, I mean, they
spent the entire budget on it,
but that's neither here northere.
We're talking about wrestling,not mummies.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
But I mean the Rock.
Now he's still on there and hecalls himself the final boss.
That's going to play a big partinto WrestleMania, I'm pretty
sure, because John Cena turnedheel to join him.
He's going to form Not JohnCena, I guarantee he's going to
form a third person into a group.
He's going to be like the VinceMcMahon nowadays he doesn't own
(24:20):
, he's the CEO over basicallythe UFC and WWE right now.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
It'll be awesome.
Whoever it is, they have to goagainst John Cena, the Rock and
whoever the other heel is.
It's like the final boss.
And then, while they'restanding there, all of a sudden
the lights turn out and you hear.
And then they turn and look andthere's the Undertaker.
But then there's Stone Cold, steve Austin and Bill Goldberg.
And look and there's theUndertaker.
But then there's Stone Cold, steve Austin and Bill Goldberg
and they're both asleep thatactually kind of happened last
(24:46):
year.
Goldberg and Steve Austin in atag team.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
I'd watch that there
was one Wrestlemania where it
was Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar, with Stone Cold as the referee.
The only problem with the matchthat it didn't go over well,
was because everybody knew thatGoldberg and Brock Lesnar were
leaving the WWE after that match, so nobody liked it.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, you probably
shouldn't announce it.
Announce it after.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Well, yeah, but you
know, now with the internet
people kind of start figuringthat out.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
So let's see, I had
the Rock.
What's your next one?
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Hulk Hogan, hulk
Hogan, hulk Hogan, hulk Hogan
Brother.
A lot of people don't like HulkHogan.
What do you do now?
Speaker 1 (25:24):
I think he's racist.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
He kind of is.
But have they seen Thunder inParadise?
I have.
It's probably better if theydon't the trials and
tribulations of Hulk Hogan.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
There's, dad there's,
mr Mom there's.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
The sex tape he had.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
He wasn't even young
when he had that either.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
No, he was like 62.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Now I have to say,
though, Suburban Commando
Suburban Commando.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
It's a goofy movie,
but it's great, yeah, it's
awesome Rocky III Because he'sgigantic, next to Mr.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Stallone, gigantic.
Next to Mr Stallone, he's likeMr Thunderlips.
Let's see how big is Hulk Hogan.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
I think Hulk Hogan's
huge.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I know he's a big guy
, but I wasn't sure exactly.
Let's see.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Oh, Little Ninjas.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Oh, okay.
Well, he's 6'7 and 300 pounds,yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
So he's rather large.
Yeah, he's gigantic.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
I didn't think he was
that tall.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Because I remember
Hulk Hogan from wrestling and
then I remember him from LittleNinjas.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, Little Ninjas,
or Three Ninjas.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Three Ninjas, Three
Ninjas.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Three Ninjas knuckle
up or something.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
His filmography can't
be that big, you might be
surprised.
Rocky III, gremlins 2.
He III, gremlins 2.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
He was in Gremlins 2.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Yeah, he plays
himself in a cameo, suburban
Commando Mr Nanny Thunder inParadise, playing Randolph
Hurricane Spencer, randolphHurricane Santa with muscles.
Three Ninjas High, noon to MegaMountain.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
I can't tell you how
many times I watched that movie,
muppets from Space.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Oh yeah, I forgot,
he's in that.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
He's in a lot of
stuff in the 80s and the 90s.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
Of course that was
like his biggest time in
wrestling.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Thunder in Paradise.
That's such a bad show.
Baywatch Walker, texas, rangerHogan Knows Best.
I remember that show.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah, a little
reality show Robot.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Chicken.
He plays himself Abe Lincoln, the Giving Tree and Bigfoot.
I really want the Hulk HoganAbe Lincolnincoln movie.
Why hasn't this been made?
Speaker 1 (27:36):
but I have to say you
know it's hulk hogan, whether
people like him or not ifthere's a mount rushmore, yeah,
of wrestling hulk hogan's one ofthem yeah, whether you like him
or not, whether wrestlingwouldn't be the same without him
, he's the one that putwrestling on the map when it
came to, you know, tv being, yes, he was the consummate showman
of the time.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Well then, he's the
one that put wrestling on the
map when it came to, you know,TV being, yes, he was the
consummate showman of the time.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
Well, and then he's
the one that did a popular
person to do it.
Well then, I mean he changedthe whole game, granted, you
know, like.
I said it's a show, but when hebecame the leader of the NWO, I
mean, and he was the biggestbaby face ever and became a bad
guy Kind of like John Cena, except for, you know, john
Cena's good and John Cena'sfunny, but he doesn't have the
(28:19):
same clout as Hulk Hogan, justbecause of the time frame when
there's so many big stars inwrestling now, as opposed to
back then.
There was big stars but nowherenear that level but in, like
the 80s and thes, it was Hulk.
Hogan.
Hulk Hogan was like Batman andSuperman.
Everyone around the world knewwho he was.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
Yeah, you saw the
hair.
The red ripped the shirt, thehandlebar mustache that was
bleached, blonde, died.
It was Hulk Hogan.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
Yeah, let's see I got
three, so I got to have my
fourth one.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
How are you on four
when I'm on like five already?
Oh you got bret hart oh well,no, I've already done four,
because you took my number one.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
I had the undertaker
yeah, yeah, I had to grab him
because I I knew he was gonna beon the list.
I had to grab him.
Um, let's see, I'm gonna gowith Triple H Cooper.
You don't like Triple H?
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah, he's just
annoying.
He's annoying what I nevercared.
When he popped up it's time toplay the game, triple H was
going to spit in the water.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
They made a
commercial and they're like.
He has to do this every timeand his wife, stephanie.
My man is sitting in the car.
He's walking up to the car doorand goes.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Yeah, and gets in.
And then there was a meme, alittle geyser.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
There was a meme,
stupid, because Linda McMahon is
the head of like.
Was it a teaching or educationdepartment or whatever in the
government?
Yeah, linda McMahon's a.
You know she's big on educationand stuff.
Trump made her the head of theeducation department While she's
(29:59):
sitting in Congress or whatever.
You can see Triple H sittingbehind her.
Somebody made a meme because hetakes a bottle of water and
just sips it.
They're like you know what he'sthinking, just in the middle of
the Senate.
Speaker 2 (30:13):
Just do the stupid
Triple H spit.
It's so dumb.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
But you've got to
give it to the man.
He's like the one that's behindall the story stuff.
Nowadays he runs a lot of stuffin WWE even though he's not in
the ring.
He actually had a heart attack.
While he was wrestling One ofthe matches he went to the
outside and as he was walkingback to the ring he just kind of
fell down to a knee and thenstood up, sat back, kind of
(30:39):
walked over, sat down in a chairand they gave him some water
and stuff and then they saidthat he was close to dying and
so immediately that was the lasttime he wrestled, which was
kind of sad Because I mean, he'snot young, but he's still young
enough where he could wrestleif it wasn't for that, I mean,
the Undertaker he's like what?
Speaker 2 (30:59):
60 now 61?
He's in his early 60s or Ithink he's in his late 50s.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Let's see, oh, there
it is, professional wrestling.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Yeah, pro wrestling.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Pro wrestling.
He is 60, yes, and he was still.
Yep, he was 6'10", 309 pounds.
Jesus.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
So basically, you're
not going to be a pro pro mega
guy, nah, Unless you're like 6'7and up and you weigh 250 pounds
or more.
Well, nowadays, Well then, youhave shorter guys, so I'd like
to throw a shout out to ashorter guy.
Or more Well nowadays.
Well then, you have shorterguys, so I'd like to throw a
shout-out to a shorter guy.
Who's that?
Rey Mysterio?
Oh, okay, I don't know if youhad him on, I did.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
You did.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
He was the 20th.
He was number 20?
I always liked Rey Mysterio.
I thought he was so cool withthe mask, because there's always
different kind of the 619.
The 619 where he do like theflip thing, like right through
the ropes and KO somebody rightin the face.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
He still does that.
He actually wrestled with hisson.
Him and his son were tag teamchampions at one point.
Oh, that's cool.
His son's like one of thebiggest bad guys now.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
No.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
As far as, like his
son dresses like Eddie Guerrero,
like he has, like the littlemustache, he's got the mullet,
oh like the little mustache he'sgot the mullet.
Oh my God, I forgot about EddieGuerrero?
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Was it WrestleMania
like 42?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
or 32?
No, it might have been 32.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
He won 30.
He won WrestleMania, but thenhe died.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
It was before that,
though, because I don't think it
was 32.
I can't remember the numbers,but I know it's not 42, because
this year is 41.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
Okay, so it might
have been 32 or 20.
But that's right.
He did win a WrestleMania, eddie Guerrero right.
Speaker 1 (32:36):
Yeah, he won.
That was the first time hebecame champion.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
And then he died not
long after.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Yeah, they said he
had a heart attack and they
don't know whether it wasdrug-induced or because, a lot
of you know, back then a lot ofwrestlers were on painkillers
and all that stuff because, Imean, they wrestled all the time
and they didn't have theregulations like they do
nowadays.
They used to take chair shotsto the face, like just take it.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
That's like
Undertaker talking about it he
goes.
That's just what we were.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
There was one.
I don't know if it was on hispodcast or not, but they were
talking about where Devon andBubba, ray Dudley, were supposed
to hit him and Kane in the backwith a chair.
Well, devon was standing overhere, he got ready to hit him
and him and Bubba come overthere and kind of switched
places with him and Bubba hitUndertaker in the back of the
head and busted him open onaccident.
Well, you know, when they hadplanned this out, devon was
(33:30):
supposed to hit him, so heturned around and he just
started swinging at Devonbecause he was pissed and
Devon's going.
It was the fat white guy.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
It was him.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
But they were talking
about there was a guy named
Maven.
He was on there for a shorttime but Undertaker basically
taught him how to take a chairshot, because there was times
like I mean, he just flat outlike broke a chair over his face
and you know he's like, youknow it's going to hurt, but
he's like you know, as dumb asthis sounds, there is a safe way
to get hit with a chair.
He said you, you take thatcrown on your head Right at the
(34:10):
ridge.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
Same spot you would
headbutt somebody with.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
It's going to hurt,
but it's not as bad as getting
hit in the side of the head orthe back of the head.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Right across the back
.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
That's pretty much.
All they do now is across theback, or they'll turn it
sideways and hit you with theend of it and just kind of jab
you with it and stuff.
That's pretty much all they donowadays.
They don't bring out thesledgehammers anymore.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
They do, but they do
things differently with them.
Wrestling in the 90s was waycooler People got hurt.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
They have kind of
upped it up a little bit.
Then you have people like JonMoxley where he's kind of
sadomasochist where he had thistwo-by-4 that had nails on it,
where they laid it on the groundand he got suplexed on top of
it and they actually had tobring the doctor out to remove
it from his back because theycouldn't pull it out.
(35:00):
It was stuck.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
I'm not a fan of that
.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
What if the nail just
went right through his spine?
Speaker 1 (35:07):
I mean, these nails
were that long.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
What.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Yeah, when he landed
they like bent sideways, but
they were stuck in him and theyhad to like they actually had to
stop the match and come out andremove them because they were
stuck.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yeah, jesus.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Anyways, I'll move on
to my last one, which is kind
of difficult Because, again, like I said, you made me narrow
down my list of 20 to 5.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
We've covered pretty
much the cream of the crop of
the greatest wrestlers of alltime.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
So now I've got to
pick between John Cena, randy
Orton, shawn Michaels or Sting.
Look what you made me do.
Look what you made me do.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
You know who I'd pick
who?
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Sting, you know what?
For the Sprite commercial?
For the Sprite commercial.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
Yeah, the one I sent
you where he beats the crap out
of that kid.
Oh yeah, beating up the kidyeah.
He like, launches him into, like the cabinets.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
You know what, While
I like John Cena, Randy Orton
and Shawn Michaels, I am goingto give it to Sting.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
I like Sting the most
.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Sting was like my
superhero because I wasn't
allowed to watch WWE when I waslittle.
Why?
Because they cussed and therewas a lot more blood stuff.
My parents didn't like that sowe watched WCW Sting.
When he started dressing uplike the crow kind of thing,
that was awesome, fighting offthe NWO all by himself.
I remember those days I wasn'tallowed to watch WWE until right
(36:32):
at the end of the 90s, like Iwatched WWF, and then when it
became the Attitude Era, myparents were like I don't really
want you watching it, so Imissed the whole, like Goth
Undertaker and all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Missed, missed
greatness.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
I missed the arrival
of Kane.
The only time I got to see itwas when I was at my
grandparents and my cousins werewatching it, because my parents
were watching it and that wasback when he had hair and like
the red mask, I think.
Yeah, did you know?
Kane is actually the mayor ofKnox County, tennessee.
Now, yeah, it's just funny.
Like there was one personrunning against him.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
He was like oh, you
can't body slam people here.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
He's like I still won
.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
I still won and I
totally could.
You would not be able to stopme, I mean.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
I'm a lot bigger than
you.
Kane was even bigger than theUndertaker.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
That's insanity,
because what Mark Calloway's
6'10"?
You said yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Let's see Kane.
Let's see God he's 7'323".
So yeah, he's a large man.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Lordy Jesus.
I mean because he was a.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
did you ever see the
movie See no Evil?
Speaker 2 (37:36):
Yes, yeah, I know, I
remember him from that.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
That was him, after
he'd lost his mask.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
What's Undertaker he
was in the Hills have Eyes.
The remake Was he.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Yeah, I didn't know
that.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
He played one of the.
I think they had like a bunchof wrestlers that played those.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
I know Undertaker was
in Suburban Commando as well.
He was one of the bountyhunters that was chasing Hulk
Hogan and he had a voice.
He goes you're a dead man,ramsey.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
That's right, because
we watched it, that's right.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
I remember that now.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
Oh man, that's
awesome.
Speaker 1 (38:09):
But you know I had a
lot of other ones on my list
that you wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
Let me go through,
just saying I mean rick flair
and his cocaine addiction and Ihear rick flair.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
He's just like the
worst yeah, I mean he tries to
be good, but uh like he's just amenace, and you know, john cena
yeah, john cena, randy orton, the only reason I'd almost call
John Cena the wrestler of the2000s.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
I'd say he was
probably the most popular
wrestler of the 2000s.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
And we're not saying
these are the top, like our
choices aren't the top wrestlers.
You know these are our topwrestlers.
John Cena he's pivotal towrestling as a business in
general and Sean Michaels.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Yeah, you know I'mels
.
Yeah you know I'm not a fan.
I'm not a sean michaels fan perse, but I will give him credit
that he is probably one of thetop 10 wrestlers of all time oh
yeah, I mean if not in, probablyin the top five, I mean,
depending on who you ask.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
He had some matches
with undertaker that were still,
like, considered the topmatches ever.
Yeah, which they're?
They're on my list as well, butanyways, anyhoos, I also had
Kurt Angle.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
I was going to
mention Kurt Angle.
He's an Olympic gold medalistfor wrestling.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
I had Batista Seth
Rollins, I remember watching
Batista wrestle.
One of them that I think hewould have been.
He's one of my favorite.
The only reason I didn't puthim on this list is because you
know he didn't.
He wasn't on there as long wasa bray wyatt, which he was the
one that was the fiend that hadthat mask oh, oh, oh.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
When we were at the
um, yeah, when you made us
download, like with wwe, like 22or 21, and you made all three
of us as characters and we'rewrestling as our three
characters and my guy's got hisstuff on and Hayden's dude, and
then we do another match andMitch comes out as this fiend
(40:03):
guy and his stats are throughthe roof and he's just beating
the crap out of me and Hayden, throwing us into the audience.
Speaker 1 (40:09):
Well, I like the fact
that y'all just kept beating me
up and my guy just kept gettingback up.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
It wasn't fair, it
was stupid, you were cheating.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Let's see.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
It was in the script.
We weren't meant to win.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Talk amongst yourself
.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
I'm surprised Arnold
Schwarzenegger never showed up
in a wrestling.
That would have been a wildevent to have Arnold and like
Stallone wrestling in like the80s and not like wrestling just
like a one-time only, like youknow cameo, Like they show up.
Donald Trump even showed up, Ithink, for one when he's like.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
The.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Rock.
He's a terrible wrestler.
I can't smell what he's cooking.
It's food stinks.
I can't smell what he's cooking.
His food stinks.
I can't take it.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Well, Donald Trump
actually had a hair versus hair
match.
Donald Trump and Vince McMahonboth picked a wrestler and they
wrestled for him, and so you hadBobby Lashley versus a guy
named Umaga.
Bobby Lashley won, so DonaldTrump got to shave Vince
McMahon's head.
Speaker 2 (41:13):
I remember this.
You're like pulling this out ofmy mind, palace.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
What was funny was,
as they were coming out to the
ring, Donald Trump.
As he's walking down, he's justgot 20s falling from the sky.
He just donated money.
It was just letting 20s fallinto the audience.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
That's a president.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
I don't remember Joe
Biden or any of these other
characters showing up on WWE orRaw or SmackDown or any of that.
Donnie T was there shavingVince McMahon's head making
moves.
Speaker 1 (41:44):
All right.
So the reason I wanted to do afive on five and I wanted us to
pick different people is becauseI'm putting this into a the AI
thing here Chat GPT Pretty much.
Well, it's Grok.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
Grok.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Yeah, we use Elon
Musk stuff here, so sue us, but
basically it's Survivor.
Speaker 2 (42:03):
We peddle our show on
his social media platform.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
Well, survivor Series
is a pay-per-view and in
Survivor Series they wouldtypically get a team of five and
it's elimination.
So if you get pinned, it's fouron five until everyone from one
team is gone.
So I'll put your team in, I'llput my team in, let's see.
It says some of the keymatchups would be Undertaker
versus Andre.
It says some of the keymatchups would be Undertaker
versus Andre.
It says Undertaker's agilityand endurance could outlast
(42:28):
Andre, whose prime stamina waslimited.
So I put all the wrestlers intheir prime.
Another key matchup would beAustin versus Triple H A brutal
clash, but Triple H's cunningand technical edge might
neutralize Austin's brawling.
Mysterio versus Sting Sting'sexperience could counter
Mysterio's speed, thoughMysterio's underdog flair could
(42:50):
steal an elimination.
Hogan versus Reigns Hogan'sHulk-up comeback meets Reigns'
relentless power.
Reigns' athleticism might edgeout Hogan's formulatic offense.
And then Bret Hart versus theRock A technical classic, but
the Rock's explosiveness couldoverwhelm Hart's precision in a
team setting.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Hmm, hmm, indeed.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
Let's see In the
elimination dynamics.
In Survivor Series, eliminations often come via
surprise roll-ups,disqualifications or teamwork.
Team 1's strategic minds TripleH and Undertaker could exploit
Team 2's reliance on individualstar power.
Mysterio's high flying couldscore a shock elimination.
But Team 2's reliance onindividual star power Mysterio's
high flying could score a shockelimination.
But Team 1's depth makes itharder for Team 2 to capitalize
(43:33):
the outcome In a classicSurvivor Series match, team 1,
undertaker, the Rock Triple.
H Roman Reigns and Sting wouldlikely win, with two to three
survivors remaining.
Likely Undertaker Triple H orpossibly the Rock.
Their combination of strategicteamwork, athletic versatility
and modern in-ring stylenarrowly overcome Team 2's raw
power and technical brilliance.
Just saying I'm the champion, that's all Okay, all right, all
(43:57):
right.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
Mitch, mitch.
Okay, all right, mitch.
Anyways, we can move on Useyour fancy subscribe to AI.
I didn fancy subscribe to aisubscribe to skew this.
It's like who do you reallywant to win?
Speaker 1 (44:10):
you're like well, my
team no, I just I'll put them in
and you know I figured off theones you picked.
When you put, uh, bret, hart, ray mysterio in there, I figured
my team was gonna win, justbecause they're not as big names
as the others.
But so if I put john cena, youprobably would have if you'd put
john cena or like instead ofhave If you'd put John Cena or
Shawn.
Michaels, you'd probably win.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Yeah Well, I didn't
know we were going to do an AI
battle, Otherwise I would havepicked a different team.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Well, I just wanted
you to pick who your favorites
were.
Because I picked my favorites, other than I didn't get Stone
Cold because you took him.
Well, I had the Undertaker onmy list, but you took the
Undertaker Well yeah, that's whyI took the Undertaker, because
I knew you were going to havehim on your list.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
I should have said
Undertaker first and just
claimed it.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
I needed to have him.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
You suck.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
Anyways, since we're
kind of, that took a little
longer than normal.
What's your favoriteWrestleMania match?
I know you don't watchwrestling as much as I do, or
much at all, but I mean, Ireally couldn't say a favorite
WrestleMania match.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
It's been so long
since I've watched WrestleMania.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
And since I've seen
it, I'm just saying it's
tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
I know you're saying
it's tomorrow, Mitch.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
It's tomorrow.
It starts at like 7 o'clock.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
Isn't it a
pay-per-view?
Speaker 1 (45:18):
event.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
Yeah, I'm not paying
to watch it.
You don't have to pay.
Speaker 1 (45:23):
I got it.
It's on Peacock.
Actually, you can watch it here.
It's on Peacock, don't cost youanything extra.
You've got my login.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
No, I have my own
Peacock subscription.
Speaker 1 (45:31):
Oh, you do, okay.
Yeah, it's part of that.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
So I can just watch
WrestleMania?
Do I have to pay to watch thatif I have the subscription?
Speaker 1 (45:37):
No, Well, here's an
entertain this top tip.
That's why I have Peacock itwill come out after WrestleMania
.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
No, it won't.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
I'm uploading stuff.
It's a special, I'm back.
Look, you've got to work withthe algorithm.
If we're going to make awrestling episode, we might as
well put it out on WrestleManiaweekend.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Mitch, you raise a
lot of good points.
You raise a lot of good points.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
But I'll put a.
You know, since you don't havea specific match, I'll say my
favorite one was Undertakerversus Triple H in Hell in a
Cell.
It was a.
They called it the end of anera match because it was.
Let's see, the three yearsprior Undertaker beat Shawn
Michaels twice and then ShawnMichaels retired the second time
.
Then he beat Triple H.
Well then, triple H wanted onemore shot at him.
So they fought and ShawnMichaels was a special referee
inside Hell in a Cell andUndertaker still won.
(46:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
Yeah, it's the
Undertaker and Undertaker still
won.
Yeah, yeah it's the Undertaker.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
But it was a good
match because, like you know,
being a show, at the end allthree of them walked up the ramp
together, kind of, like, youknow, arm up.
I think Shawn Michaels andUndertaker were on both sides
and had Triple H's arms aroundthem, like carrying them up
Because they beat the crap outof each other Like before the
match was over.
You could see bruises all upand down their backs and stuff.
I mean they were hitting eachother with chairs and steps Old
(46:49):
cowboys riding off into thesunset.
Pretty much.
That's pretty much what it was.
It was a good match.
We can watch it after thisuntil Hayden gets here.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Okay, You're like
sure why not.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
Okay, mitch, Mitch,
okay, but yeah, that was my
favorite one.
While we have a few minutesleft, though, let's we can go
over some of our stuff thatwe've been watching, or any kind
of news that you have.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Well, I mean you want
to save that for the main show
well, no, because we got adifferent formula.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
Remember, we're gonna
work on that all right, well,
uh you ain't gonna tell useverything.
Speaker 2 (47:19):
I mean naked gun
trailer.
They're remaking that withleslie nielsen yeah I think and
from just watching the traileryou watched it too I really
think they're gonna go more likehe's action capable ish,
because like where he throws alight pop like into the guy's
mouth, like on purpose, and it'slike it's spiked or whatever he
does like some nonsense.
Yeah, it's like that's not thefrank drebin nonsense yeah, that
(47:43):
from the naked gun movies orpolice squad, because it was
like he accidentally and bumbledhis way through it.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
I never liked the
Naked Gun movies to begin with,
so that's all you.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
The Naked Gun movies.
It's a feast for your eyesbecause there is so much
happening in the scene that'sjust pure physical puns or
written or spoken puns.
It's like Air meets the.
You know police academy which Imean police academy is a comedy
but it's a yeah, it's just likethat level of writing and
(48:17):
nonsense in the background, likeit's it's, it's comedy in depth
, like you have to watch itmultiple times to see nonsense
happening.
Like the opening, like becausethe naked gum movies are based
on the character for policesquad, which was like a addition
, like in 1981 or 1982, to atime slot and they had six
episodes.
It ran for four before theycanceled it and everybody was so
(48:39):
mad.
They canceled because it was sofunny.
But like the opening is likeyou know the old, like 70s crime
trauma.
It's's like police squad incolor and they got like the
bubble gum light on the top ofthe car, you know the old police
cruiser and Leslie Nielsenpulls up, gets out so he starts
shooting at the car.
He does like a quick head cock, like you know, misses, like you
know he dodged it.
Pulls out his revolver, youknow, shoots the bad guy off
(49:01):
screen, holsters and it cuts tolike the uh, his captain.
Like they're in the precinctand it's just getting raked with
machine gun fire.
Like a guy runs by naked andscreaming on fire.
A woman throws a baby out of awindow.
It's all this night.
He's just standing there at hisdesk blasting away off screen
and then the then the greatestpart of it is and rex hamilton
(49:22):
as abe lincoln and it's him atfort steer and his hat gets shot
off and he gets up and turnswith a revolver and starts
blasting, killing john wilkesbooth.
Okay, but the the funniest partof that whole thing is and like
tonight's you know special guest, and they'd announce who it was
and to be a big actor at thattime.
(49:42):
Like lauren green from likebattlestar galactica, uh,
william shatner at that time.
Like Lauren Green from likeBattlestar Galactica, william
Shatner.
And they'd kill him off in thefirst 30 seconds.
Like Lauren Green's.
Like the first guest, specialguest.
Car screams by and they throwhis body out.
He's got a knife.
He's like ah, and just dies.
It's like that's it, it's over.
Like the mom from the BradyBunch they shot her up with a
(50:04):
machine gun in the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
Well, that's like
Grand Tour, where they're like
we have Jeremy Renner and hejumps out of the plane and in
the background you see him.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
Yeah, it's literally
that, like they took that from
that show.
Okay, like I mean, if it's onYouTube, you can watch them all
the first original six episodesof Police Squad with Leslie
Nielsen, and this is like likeright after Airplane.
Like this is, I think, twoyears after Airplane and it's
just like it's so great.
It's like whoever came up withthis and was writing this, it's
(50:34):
like you deserved every awardand people still look back.
It's like this was like thepinnacle of comedy.
The world just wasn't ready forit.
Like today, this show would bea massive hit.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
Okay, Tom, Tom okay.
Speaker 2 (50:49):
Okay, mitch, mitch,
okay, you don't even know what
that's from.
No, I do not.
It's from Letter County.
I know you do it all the time.
Okay, scroll down.
Scroll down okay.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
Another movie that's
coming out actually came out
today while we're recording isthe movie the Sinners.
Have you seen that trailer?
Speaker 2 (51:03):
yet the Sinners.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Yeah, I think it's
just called Sinners, total no.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
I had not.
Speaker 1 (51:08):
It's Michael B Jordan
and Hailey Steinfeld.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
Is this like the
still?
I've seen where he's holding aTommy gun.
Yeah, he's shooting atsomething.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
It's actually a
pretty neat thing that I haven't
seen yet, which is it's avampire movie, but it's based in
the 1930s, okay, and I don'tknow a whole lot about it, other
than like a little synopsis.
Here is trying to leave theirtroubled lives behind, twin
brothers return to theirhometown to start again, only to
(51:36):
discover that an even greaterevil is waiting to welcome them
home.
Oh, but like uh.
Speaker 2 (51:41):
I know you're already
going to go see it.
It's a vampire movie.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
Well, I mean I want
to see it.
It's uh movie.
Well, I mean I want to see it.
It's who was I forgot his namedirector Ryan Coogler, coogler,
coogler, I think.
From the trailer it looksreally good.
The only thing I'm hoping isthat you know, because it's the
1930s, I hope it's not one ofthose like ultra, like oh, white
man, bad kind of things, youman, bad kind of things, you
(52:08):
know, and everybody's like I'vehad people comment on on our
social media that's like oh well, you know, it is the, it is
that time.
So of course it's going to bethat I'm like well, you know, if
you can write a movie, itdoesn't have to be.
If you can actually make astory, you don't just have to
play if you can do that magicalthing that's called good writing
.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
That seems to be lost
because hollywood can't make a
new movie.
They got to redo the naked gunseries, which I mean, or which
are fantastic for for like thethird fourth time.
Thank you, Rachel.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
But I mean the movie,
the unofficial fourth member of
this show the trailer looksreally good and I'm I'm looking
forward to seeing it, I'll haveto check out the trailer, but
yeah if you haven't, you knowyou're listening.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
Now go check it out
this weekend, you know, after
wrestlemania I think the bestmovie that's done like a
throwback like going back intime till, you know, the 30s,
40s, 50s or whatever and did itwith a kind of modern touch, but
it wasn't just too much, but itwas still really well done and
well acted.
And well executed is oh yeah wedid watch that.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
I forgot about that.
I was like I forgot exactlywhat that was.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
With Josh Brolin and
Sean Penn, who was mad at Trey
Parker and Matt Stone because ofTeam America.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Well, I mean this
movie.
It's an original idea.
It's not based off a book, fromwhat I understand.
I mean, like I said, I haven'tdone too much research, but I
like an original idea.
And it's not one of like theyou know, fall in love with the
vampire, kind of things.
It's these vampires are justtrying to trick you into letting
you let them kill you.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
It's not sexy
vampires yeah well, I mean Haley
Steinfeld is pretty goodlooking, but All right, mitch
calm down looking, but she'strying to basically you know,
these vampires are trying tolure them outside to kill them,
and so, because it's just likethe traditional vampire sense,
they have to be invited in I?
Speaker 1 (53:53):
I don't know, but
from every scene, like in the
trailer, it looks like thepeople are trying to run to get
inside before they get on, orsomething like that are they
trying to get to a church?
Because it's all ground andthey can't walk on it I think so
, but, like said for the trailer, I can't really tell.
Speaker 2 (54:07):
Sounds like Hayden's
here.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
I just know they're
running from a building.
Speaker 2 (54:09):
Should I go get him?
Speaker 1 (54:11):
Eh, we can wrap this
up first.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah, we can wrap
this up.
He can wait for two minutes.
