worse.
And with this effect that BuckMinister Fuller called the trim
tap effect, where one littlefraction of a percent that
something might change everymonth or every year.
When you compound that over yourlife, and especially over your
children's lives, you look atthe trajectory right now.
(03:51):
You look at what the currentadministration is doing with
economic policy, with socialpolicy, with so many other
things, and then you look atyour children and how.

(04:15):
Now, speaking of problems, thisvideo is all about how to avoid
some of those common problemsand costly mistakes.
So I'll tell you the story.
When I first wanted to get myMexican visa to be able to have
legal residency here.
It was very difficult.
This was around the time of thepandemic.
It was just kind of wrapping upand I didn't have too many
resources and I decided I reallywanted to do DDIY.
(04:38):
It.
I wanted to do it myself, and soI started looking for
appointments online.
I was actually living in theTijuana area at the time, so the
closest consulate to me becauseI had to apply from outside of
Mexico, was in San Diego.
Tried there, even emailed them, went to the system, couldn't
find an appointment.
I tried Los Angeles, I tried SanFrancisco, I tried all of these
different Mexican consulates allthroughout.
(05:00):
California and even some inArizona, and I couldn't get an
appointment.
Finally, again, I was trying todo it myself.
I didn't really have too muchinformation.
Uh, this was even before ai.
So you know, I would Googlearound and ask on Facebook
groups and I was finally able toget an appointment in Orlando.
Now I had to go back into theus.
Go to San Diego, the airportthere now fly out of San Diego
(05:22):
all the way across the country.
Get a hotel for multiple nights.
It all added up between theflights, round trip between the
hotel, and then all of the timethat I couldn't be working to
literally thousands andthousands of dollars of money
that either I spent or lost acombination of those things and
(05:43):
I didn't even get the visa.
I went into the consulate.
I had everything in perfectorder.
I had all of those.
Past six months or 12 months ofbusiness bank statements, they
didn't want to accept it.
Finally, I decided to reach out.
I sought help.
I paid a facilitator to assistme with these things.
They gave me a recommendation togo to a different consulate.
(06:05):
I went there and this case, itwas the Vegas consulate because
at the time they had moreflexibility.
I showed the same exactpaperwork.
Okay.
Where I had spent almost 12hours in the Orlando Consulate
got declined.
They said they couldn't doanything, and I was in and out
of the Vegas consulate in.
Uh, I think it was about an hourand a half total from the time
that I showed up at the door, and I was approved for the visa
(06:27):
and everything has been kind ofhappily ever after, since.
Now, I'm not saying Vegas isnecessarily the best place to
get your Visa.
Now, it may be for somesituations it may not be.
They've also made therequirements a lot more
stringent when I helped my wife,Amanda.
Do hers.
There, there were additionaldocuments and things that they
required that kind of, uh, threwus off a little bit because they
(06:50):
had never even emailed us aboutneeding them.
And on top of it, I never neededthem when, just a year before I
had processed my residencythere.
So the point is really not tosay, Hey, go here.
Don't go there.
Go there, go.
Don't go there.
I will tell you that if you arefrom California or even
somewhere on the East coast, a Alot of our high net worth
clients are from the West coastor from the east coast, and they
(07:12):
would think, you know, I'll justgo to the.
Consulate in New York, I'll justgo to the consulate in
California.
I can guarantee you're almostnever going to actually get an
appointment in a Californiaconsulate for visas.
Especially with everythingthat's going on right now with
the ICE raids and with all ofthese Mexicans there in the US
now that are needing consularsupport from the Mexican
government.
It's difficult, if notimpossible to find a space where
(07:36):
they're gonna see you for a Visaappointment.
And even if they do, therequirements are typically a lot
more difficult.
Now, on top of all of that, it'snot just the money and the the
inconvenience, right?
You, you're gonna end upspending.
Hours and hours and hours intotal, I would calculate.
I spent over a hundred hoursjust doing that entire process,
(07:57):
trying to figure out how to doit all on my own.
Perhaps even more.
If you include the flights andeverything else, all the time
lost than going to Vegas again.
Maybe it was closer to about 200hours.
Now you could spend 200 hours,or you could do with what?
One of our clients, John andDavid, a couple that were living
in Ohio, they realized that evenwith.
Seven figures of retirementfunds, and they talk a lot about
(08:19):
this, uh, on our channel aswell.
We just did a video with themthat you can find below.
They realized with a million anda half dollars nearly of
retirement, they couldn'tcomfortably retire in Ohio.
And so they came down here toMexico.
We helped them out with theprocess.
They invested a little bit ofmoney, but in their own words,
the entire thing, including allthe documents, getting
everything they needed, visitingthe consulate, coming down here
(08:41):
to Mexico, less than 20 hoursfor.
Both of them and no hiccup atall in that entire process.
You want to invest in yourself, especially if you've got the
money.
And one of the things that weheard, which really kind of
warmed my heart because I'm anoperations guy, I'm a systems
guy.
I've been working in seven andeight figure businesses,
consulting with them for almostthe last 20 years.
(09:03):
And so I like to have all of myi's dotted and my t's crossed
and I've built technologysystems before we implement
things that make the process alot more streamlined, whether
it's, that's our secure documentportal where you will send us
your passport and financialstatements and things like that
in a way where.
We're not just receiving it fromyou on an insecure platform like
an email or a WhatsApp that alot of facilitators and other
(09:26):
people will do.
We've got systems for all ofthat.
On top of that, the attorneythat we work with in this area,
when she looked at the paperworkthat we had prepared for her to
complete the process for thoseclients that I mentioned, she
said everything was perfectlyflawless Most of the time they
will have issues where they'llhave to go back to the clients,
have them redo paperwork, resignsomething, maybe spend an extra
(09:47):
day, two, three, uh, going backto the immigration office and
coming back and redoing otherthings.
She said that.
The paperwork was completelyflawless.
Everything was perfect.
There wasn't a single thing thatshe needed to change because
we've got the systems down.
We know how everything works.
We know how the government worksin Mexico.
We know how to prepare things ina way where you're gonna save a
lot of time, a lot of headache, and it's easier all around.
(10:10):
If you value your time, which ifyou are a high net worth
individual like a lot of theclients we've already worked
with, then it would behoove youto invest in yourself and invest
in your future and your family'sfuture.
And whether you work with us,whether you work with somebody
else, do it right.
Don't risk wasting your time, wasting your money, or even a
lot worse.
Getting declined or potentiallypermanently banned from a
(10:34):
country.
We've heard some horror stories.
If you do things the wrong wayor you try to do things under
the table.
We do everything above boardhere.
We do everything by the letterof the law exactly how it's
supposed to be done.
Of course, we're not giving youlegal advice here.
You wanna book a consult, and sothen we can go more into those
matters where we do have ourattorneys in Mexico and all
(10:55):

We're partnering with people inAlbania.
We're partnering with people inPanama and Costa Rica and
Columbia and other countriesaround the world.
We've got the top legal and realestate and tax professionals
everywhere, both in thosecountries, also in the US as
well, because this is veryholistic.

understand how your taxes aregonna work there and end up
overpaying or spend a lot more.
(11:18):
On taxes in the us then youabsolutely have to.
