One of the cool things about podcasting is seeing where episodes are downloaded from. In this short episode, I list off the locations where the podcast has been downloaded from. The number one place is the United States. Can you guess which countries round out the top 5? I appreciate each and every one of you who has taken the time to listen and continue to tune in. Thank you so much. I'd love to ...
I wanted to take a moment away from news and politics to talk about some of the fun events happening around Connecticut. From live music to sports, Connecticut has plenty to offer in the way of entertainment and things to do. I talk about a few of the postings, out of dozens, that I found on the CT Visits website. Link is below if you would like to see what may be going on in your area. Lets get out an...
On May 7th, 2025, a Virginia man shot an killed a teenager in what is being called an internet prank gone wrong. Three teens were apparently going around recording themselves doing "ding dong ditch" pranks, when one homeowner opened fire on them, wounding one and killing another. I read the news article and give my opinion on the whole tragic event. Enjoy.

We have all seen and heard about the desperate need for blood donations. Twelve years ago I saw first hand how important it is to donate blood. Without it, my wife wouldn't be alive today. There is a blood drive being held in Hartford, CT on May 20th from 8:30am to 6:30pm and Dunkin Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. This event is hosted by NBC Connecticut and donors will be given two ticket v...

Earlier this year, a man was discovered to have been held captive by his step-mother for over two decades in the city of Waterbury, CT, sparking debate and questions over how this man fell though the cracks within the system and how to prevent others from having a similar fate. Recently, some have claimed the reason that this man, and other children, have fallen through the cracks is due to lack of ove...
I was given a tip about unhinged Facebook posts made by an English teacher at Waterville Senior High School in Waterville, Maine. I was sent screen shots of what this educator had posted. I read these unhinged posts as well as the response from the Secret Service. In these posts, this educator advocated for political violence and even doubled down on these statements. There is a real problem in this co...
Payments towards student loans are set to re-start this week, if they haven't already. Politicians have turned repayment of student loans into a political issue. Student loans are a heavy burden on tens of thousands of households. However, is eliminating someone's student debt and putting the financial burden onto taxpayers the solution? I get into the issues with student loans, compounding i...

Recently I did and episode where I discussed CT HB7033, a house bill in Connecticut which is designed to protect homeless individuals from harassment, however some of the verbiage within the bill has given some pause. I looked a little more into the bill and I have more questions. CT residents, take notes...we don't want to become San Francisco.

There is a house bill in Connecticut, HB 7033, which is aimed at protecting the homeless population in Connecticut from harassment or arrest for doing such things as eating, standing or even sleeping in public areas. However, the line that stuck out to me was "life sustaining activities". I question, what exactly qualifies as "life sustaining activity" and how will that affect the p...
Deportations are already a hot button issue. However, a question I have is why would anyone want someone who is a known violent criminal back in their country? Several democrat leaders have not only spoken out against the deportation of criminal aliens, some actually left the country in support of criminal illegal alien gang members after they we deported from the United States. I get into this, activi...
Once again, math is hard for some people. The "wage gap" has been debunked time and time again, yet, politicians love to keep beating that old dead horse. I get into why it's complete nonsense and what the numbers really mean and why there is a perceived gap.

During a recent chat with a listener, they mentioned and asked me to cover wrong way drivers in Connecticut. Incidents involving wrong way drivers has been an issue local news outlets have covered but I wanted to know more. How often does this happen? Is there a common element? Whenever harm or loss of life is a result of a wrong way driver, or any accident, it is always tragic, but how bad it is in CT...
This morning, I heard a little blurb about how "CT lawmakers are looking to crack down on street takeovers''. I am familiar with what street takeovers are am aware of what issue it is, however I was curious what those in charge had planned. So, I did some research and as one might expect, it's nothing but a cloud of smoke. Enjoy.

America is such a racist country. How racist is it? America is so racist that people have to make up fake stories about racist acts that never occurred! That's how bad racism has gotten in America. Yes, that is oozing with sarcasm. I get into a recent event in Pennsylvania and other noteworthy times when lies spread like wildfire only to find the smoldering embers at the feet of the storyteller th...
The educational system has been in decline for decades. Children's tests scores continue to slide and we even have schools where not one child is proficient. Children are graduating and they can't even read. Due to a chance encounter, I discussed the matter with two local educators and you all have no idea how bad it is. No matter how much money you throw at this problem, it won't solve ...
Recently, I saw a report about so called "men" being arrested in Danbury CT for trafficking two underage girls, across state lines, for sex. I read the news article and add my usual flair. Enjoy.

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
