João Artacho Jurado é o maior não-arquiteto do Brasil. O estranho epíteto se deve ao fato de ele nunca ter tido formação em arquitetura, o que foi usado durante muito tempo como munição por seus detratores. Hoje, porém, essa é uma discussão que parece superada. O talento, o faro para negócios e o acolhimento que moradores de obras sentem o colocam definitivamente entre os grandes nomes da nossa arquitetura.
