Because when we acknowledgedeath, we gain a sense of control.
Life is finite.

(00:44):
And every day we spend in acareer that doesn't fulfil us,
is a day we'll never get back.
A famous study showed that two of thebiggest regrets people shared at the
end of their lives were not about money, status, or even career achievements.
It was these.
One, I wish I hadn't worked so hard.

(01:07):
And two, I wish I'd had the courageto live a life true to myself, not
the life others expected of me.
Let that sink in.
If you're stuck in a jobthat doesn't light you up.
If you're ignoring the pull towardssomething more meaningful, what

That's the end of this week's reflection.
I'll leave you with this quotefrom Steve Jobs before he died.
Remembering that I'll be deadsoon is the most important tool
I've ever encountered to help memake the big choices in my life.
Because almost everything, all externalexpectations, all pride, all fear of

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
