(00:00):
Man,welcome back everybody. It's

(00:16):
Friday night football, preseason, week three, and there
are starting offenses out on thefield. What the chicken jockey
is happening right now? I don'tknow. It's ding your host, and
we're going to talk about thetop 20 quarterbacks tonight, but
before we jump into that, let'stalk about the big news. Brian
Robinson gets traded to SanFrancisco for a sixth round
draft pick. And you thought CMCwas healthy. I'm telling you,

(00:39):
you got to listen to me. Twitterwas a fire. I'm going back and
forth with people. They're like,Oh, you don't know what you're
talking about, dude. CMC ishurt, man. He is hurt. He's not
going to play a full season, half season at best. You pick
him in the first round, you aregoing down. I'm just, I'm just
letting you know, good luck.
Let's get to it. Top 20quarterbacks, some names are

(01:00):
going to look familiar in thesame places as last year. Some
are going to be different. I'mgoing to throw a few surprises
out there. So get ready atnumber one. I have Lamar
Jackson, easy pick here, 559,points last year. I don't think
he gets as many points as he didlast year. This foot injury
thing. Yeah, it's a big to doabout nothing. But in the big
picture, he's going to be numberone overall. His running and

(01:21):
passing ability, the weapons hehas around him and Henry helps
him move the ball give him thebest opportunities. And number
two, I have Joe burrow. He wasnumber two last year. I will
say, though, I think that Joeburrow could be number one this
year. I see burrow going over5000 yards passing. That would
be an epic year for him. Now,his touchdown intercept ratio
from last year, 43 nine, thatwas just amazing. I'm not sure

(01:43):
he can beat that. A little bitmore passing yards, maybe an
extra touchdown here or there, and he could overtake Lamar
Jackson at number three. I haveJosh Allen now. Josh Allen, he
played well last year. He was inthe MVP race. I mean, it was all
about him. He went in, he ranfor every touchdown he could
possibly get. He stole everysingle touchdown from all of his

(02:04):
wide receivers. He did give abunch to cook, which was really
surprising. But you know, thenthey didn't want to pay cook.
Sidebar there, but the bigpicture is, Josh Allen was all
about himself last year. He'sgoing to be all about himself
this year. What did they do inthe draft? They went six
straight rounds of defensiveplayers. Okay? So they didn't
really improve the offense atall. So what can Josh Allen do

(02:24):
this year? About the same as hedid last year? I don't really
see him getting any numbersbetter. He might actually fall
back a little bit. I know I havehim at three, but he could find
himself at four or five, depending on how the team does
this year. So look out. Andnumber four, I have Daniels now.
We watch another preseason, helooks really good. He's got a
young tailback, though, tailbackI still have college football,

(02:45):
but he does have young runningback. We don't know what
McLaurin issue is and if he'sgoing to play. And that's really
the biggest thing. I'm going toput an asterisk next to Daniels
here. If McLaurin doesn't comeback, Daniels falls outside of
the top 10. He really doesn'thave anyone to throw to debo
Samuel is not the guy. He usedto be great player, but he is

(03:05):
not just be honest with yourselfwhen it comes to that. But if
McLaurin comes back, he's got agreat shot at being the number
four overall and number five Ihave Jared Goff, and I see this
as a ceiling for golf. I don'tthink he does any better than he
did last year, which was anumber five finish. Great
season. 37 touchdowns, 12interceptions, 4600 yards. Epic
season for him. I just don't seehow he gets it any more than

(03:27):
that. Gives incredible player.
He's going to rush for a lot oftouchdowns. Montgomery still
there. He's still got the sameweapons, so I don't really see
him over playing what he didlast year. And their schedule is
a bit tougher. Take it with agrain of salt. I think you know
Jared Goff, great player. He'sgoing to finish number five for
number five, probably overall, but it's possible he could drop
down a few from here. But reallygood draft capital here, because
for golf, you're getting him inthe seventh round, and he's

(03:50):
going to finish in the top fiveand number six. I have Baker
Mayfield now. Baker surprisedeveryone with a number three
finish last year. That wasn'treally a surprise to me. He's
got great weapons. This year, hehas Evans and igbuka,
unfortunately, Godwin, I don'tthink he's gonna play. If you're
drafting him, you might as wellgive your money to your friends.
And then they lost McMillan to aneck injury. We don't know when
that kid's gonna come back. Soat this point, he's lost a lot

(04:13):
of weapons. Bucky Irving isthere. He's great, but the
team's a little bit banged up,so I don't think that Baker
Mayfield can match what he didlast year, just a superb season,
with 41 touchdowns and 16interceptions, 4500 passing.
Those are great numbers. I justthink that was a ceiling for
him. I see him falling. Sothat's why I have him at six and
number seven, I have Bo Nix. Nowit's not a big surprise, because

(04:35):
Bo was eight last year, somoving up a spot. Yes, I think
his total number of pointsincrease definitely. So he's
looking at last year he didn'teven hit 30 touchdowns. So I'm
thinking 35 touchdowns, 4200yards. Maybe he cleans up the
interceptions. That's a reallysolid seven. And he might push
six or five. He might even begolf, depending on how

(04:57):
successful he is.
Is, and that really the keythere is Sutton. And number
eight, I have Justin Abraham. SoI find Justin neighbor coming
back into the top 10 from lastyear. He had a rough year. I
mean, rough year. Incrediblyefficient. Just no mistakes, 23
touchdowns, three interceptions.
What a great year, but only 3800yards passing. Now he gets

(05:18):
Keenan Allen. He's got ladMcConkie. I mean, between the
two of those guys, great hands.
I see a high percentage ofpasses, little bit more
touchdowns. Let's hope thatAmara Hampton comes in and gives
them kind of that boost thatNaji isn't doing while he's
walking laps at practice.
Terrible. And number nine haveJalen Hurts. Tush Bush is back.
He's still going to be in thetop 10. That's where he gets all

(05:41):
his touchdowns. I mean, 18touchdowns last year, five
interceptions in the passinggame. But he runs the ball very
well, lot of touch pushtouchdowns. That's not going
away. Philly is still going tobe dominant on the offensive
side of the ball, so I see himstill finishing in the top 10,
and number 10, I have GenoSmith. This is a little bit of a
shocker. He's going to jumpabout five spots to get himself

(06:03):
to the 10th spot. Here he movesto a better situation, in my
opinion. Brock Bowers, muchbetter athlete than he had in
Seattle. Jacoby Myers, outstanding wide receiver. And
now he's got janty, you know, areally good running back behind
him, and his schedule is prettygood. I see this sets up really
well for Geno I think he's gonnago and push about 30 touchdowns,
probably 4500 yards, and that'sgonna put him in a solid 10 and

(06:26):
number 11. I have my homies now.
My homes look good tonight inpreseason. Yeah, it's pre
season. It was against thebears. Hey, where did that? 38
no bears team go, Yeah.
Everybody was like, Oh, this isour year. Yeah, no, it's it's
not, I digress, mahomes, he evenhit a deep ball. I was really
proud of him. I don't think hecan hit the deep ball anymore.

(06:47):
Rice was out there. He'sprobably not going to be on the
team worthy. He missed himstandard, and then he hit
taekwon Thornton. Is that dudeyou're going to play? I don't
know. Kelsey dropped the ball.
So I think that is an absoluteprecursor to what the season is
going to be. Plus, they have togo overseas to play the first
game. What a joke. This is theNFL. This isn't like the South

(07:11):
American Football League, forcrying out loud. Sidebar over,
sorry, mahomes, at number 11,that's the best he's going to
do, especially with all theinjuries the guys he's losing to
possible suspension andotherwise, number 12, I had Dak
Prescott. I think Dak has abounce back here. This is a good
opportunity for him. If he canstay healthy, he could throw to
CG lamb, he's got Pickens.
Ferguson is back, and, you know,Ferguson is going to get

(07:31):
touchdowns. The running backsare kind of a train wreck. I
don't know if Javante is goingto take the starting I think he
is. But who knows what's goingto happen there. So they're
going to lean on Dak a lot, andI think he can take that
pressure as long as he doesn'tget hurt. And number 13, it
pains me to say it, but I'mgoing to say sam darnold. Why?
Because Sam Donald's in anothergood situation. He's got JSN at
one on one side. He's got cup onthe other side, he's got two

(07:56):
great running backs, decentdefense, you know, subpar O line
and a good schedule. So I thinkthis sets up well for him. He's
got two really good Alphareceivers. Yeah, one of them's,
you know, you know, cup in thein the end of his prime, but
still amazing receivers. So Idon't know how he can go wrong.
I mean, if he was sitting inMinneapolis right now, he would

(08:17):
have Jefferson banged up,Addison suspended, nailer hurt,
and now they're hoping to getfeeling he's got to be feeling
good about himself right now, honestly, that he's outside of
Minnesota and number 14, this isgoing to be a weird one. I'm
going with panics from Atlanta.
I think that he turns my numberfive wide receiver overall,

(08:40):
Drake London into a superstar.
Now, everyone's like, well, he'salready superstar. Ding, yeah, I
got that. But I think DrakeLondon pushes double digit
touchdowns, maybe 17, 1800yards. I know that sounds crazy,
but with Mooney out, you gotRaymond MacLeod, and then you
got Bijon Robinson, well, he'sgot to be able to throw to
somebody, and London can bedominant if he can stay healthy.
So let's figure it out. Wedon't. We haven't seen a full

(09:02):
season from pennix yet, right?
So pennix, he gives 1500 toDrake, London. He gives 800
maybe even 1000 to Bajan.
There's 2500 of your passingyards, right there? Another 808
50 to Raymond McLeod, which isabout what you did last year.
And then maybe another five, 600to another couple of running
backs. I mean, pretty soon he'spushing high 3000 yards, like

(09:23):
3800 3900 Vegas has him tappedfor 3600 now it really comes
down to the touchdowns. Well,he's surrounded by a bunch of
guys who can get in the endzone. So let's give him a fair
shake and say, you know, 25 to27 touchdowns, maybe 3800 yards.
He's gonna finish 14, all right,and number 15 I have Drake. May

(09:44):
I like Drake? May I was thinkinghe was gonna push top 12 status,
but I just don't see it. Thisyear, I know Diggs is great.
Diggs makes him a much betterplayer. He's gonna push for
almost 4000 yards this this yearhe's gonna push for over.
30 touchdowns. Hunter Henry'sthere. He's got a young
Henderson at running back thatthey hopefully will play.

(10:06):
Douglas maybe has a better year.
I think he's got the tools, youknow, if this can stay healthy,
this could be Drake mais here, and he could pop into the top 15
and number 16. I have CJ Stroud.
I want to give him more credit.
I want to push him more, buthe's got Nico Collins on one
side, awesome alpha, but on theother side, he's got Christian
Kirk, who just gets hurt all thetime. His running back situation

(10:27):
is a train wreck. He's gotChubb, who basically doesn't
have a knee anymore. Mix in,who, I don't think what's what's
happening with his foot Pierce, who just could never, ever score
touchdowns. So they need to beable to move the ball. Their
defense is kind of atrocious.
It's kind of middle of the road.
Every once in a while, you know, they get a turnover, but he's

(10:48):
going to have to make it happen,as long as Nico and Christian
Kirk can stay healthy. He can,he can be successful, but I just
don't see him finishing past the16. At 17, I have Matthew
Stafford. I truly think that hisback problems are catching up to
him. Now he's got two greatreceivers, puka and Adams, he
should roll. I mean, with KyronWilliams behind him, they're

(11:11):
going to be able to move theball. I just not sure he's going
to play a whole season. I think,I think this, these issues are
going to really start to botherhim, and he's going to probably
play like now, 12 to 14 games.
That is a total guess. I don'tknow anything about injuries
from that perspective. I mean, Iknow everything about back
injuries, but for him, they'rereally keeping it close to the
chest. Who knows how bad it is?
But he's back at practice, solet's give him the benefit of

(11:34):
the doubt. If he comes back, Ithink he easily plays to a 17
level. He might even push higherthan that at 18, I have Kyler
Murray. Kyler Murray, I thinkhis accuracy is gone. He can't
seem to hit Harrison. He peppersMcBride because McBride is the
underneath guy, and he lovesthrowing those easy passes to

(11:55):
him. So that's why McBride gets150 targets. That should be
reversed. Harrison should have150 targets. MCBRIDE should have
100that tells you what his accuracy
and what his confidence in hisarm is like, and that's why I
have him here at 18. And Istruggle with this. I almost
wanted to drop him out of 20,but he's surrounded by really
good players, and that gives himthe ability to finish in the top

(12:17):
20. And Number 19, I have AaronRodgers. No one knows exactly
what's going to happen withAaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh, but
I see Pittsburgh as a defensefirst running first kind of
team. Yes, they brought in DKand they brought in Rogers, so
they have a vertical passinggame, but DK really hasn't
scored that many touchdowns asin his entire career, and when

(12:38):
Rogers had Adams in the Jets, they really didn't seem to click
until like late in the season. Ithink that's going to happen
again. He's never played with DKbefore, so it's going to there's
going to be a struggle early on,and I think as the season
continues, he'll get back intoform. If he can stay healthy,
the defense is going to maketurnovers. They're going to give
him opportunities to score. ButI think I see a lot of low

(13:01):
scoring games in his future, like he wasn't with the Jets. I
don't see him throwing as much, and that's why he barely makes
the top 20. And then in number20, I have Brock Purdy. This is
a huge fall for him. I mean, youknow, if you told someone at the
beginning of the season thatBrock Purdy's gonna finish
number 20, they probably wouldhave laughed in your face, but
he doesn't have a singlereceiver, except for Pearsall,

(13:22):
they're, you know, they'retraining for their ninth running
back instead of going getanother wide receiver. And then
you have Kittle. But Kittle,he's been getting injured a lot
over the last couple of years,so if Kittle can't put together
a full season, this is going tobe a rough season for birdie, at
least he got paid. There's acouple of big names that I did
not put on this list. I mean, tua is one of them, and he's got

(13:44):
Hill as a wide receiver, so youwould think, man, he should do
well, but he is one concussionaway from just spending the rest
of his days in a bed. I mean, Iwant the best for tua. I just
I've seen all of hisconcussions, and they're awful.
I hope, I hope he has a reallysafe season. The other big name
I didn't mention was CalebWilliams, and there's a reason

(14:07):
for that. He's awful. It's, it'sjust that simple, if you watched
him against Casey tonight, that's why they paid $10 million
to pageant. Pageant will bestarting for Chicago very soon.
All right, to finish off theshow, I want to talk about the
ADP for these quarterbacks, andwhat you need to watch out for,
Jackson is going in the secondround. That's kind of a no

(14:29):
brainer. It's a big price to payfor Jackson, but I can almost
make the argument that he'sworth it. I just can't see
getting a quarterback in thesecond round. Allen's early in
the third. Then there's boroughand Daniels towards the end of
the third. And I think borough,if you're going to go get a
quarterback at the end of thethird, that's the guy to target.
That's really good value therein the fourth, that's where

(14:50):
hertz goes. Mahomes is going inthe fifth, and that's way early.
I don't I don't think he cracksthe top 10. Mayfield in the
sixth, seems like a steal. Nix.
In the sixth. That's aboutright? Kyler Murray in the
seventh. What? Golf in theseventh. That's, that's good
value there. Caleb Williams isgoing in the eighth. Please,

(15:10):
somebody in my league, take him, please. Dak Prescott in the
eighth. And then you've gotPurdy in the eighth. And hey,
bear in the eighth. I like, Ilike Justin neighbor in eighth.
That's really great value. I'mprobably going to be targeting
him. And then you have like, youknow, CJ Stroud May the ninth
fields, which is a terriblepick. And then, love another big

(15:30):
name I didn't, I didn't mention,because he can't hit the
broadside of the barn. Hedoesn't even have a barn to
throw to, because all of hiswide receivers are heard. Now,
if you're looking for thatsecond quarterback, or you're
going to go heavy running back, then all wide receiver, and
you're going to wait on aquarterback, wait until you get
close to the 10th round and takepennix. He's going to be there,

(15:51):
and you're going to run yourleague. You could combo him with
Stafford in the 11th, and thosetwo quarterbacks, you might win
it all. Well, that's our showfor tonight. As always, we're
gonna give a shout out to themen and women in uniform who
