Part 3 in the series.  This last Wide Receiver episode should help you fill out your bench and add key bye week replacements to your roster.  If you went running back heavy early these guys might be starters.  Also, we moved Pittman to #34 and dropped Rice out of the list entirely (done with his issues).

(00:00):
Ding.

(00:16):
Welcome back to edff. It's ding, and we're going to round out the
last of the wide receivers we'regoing to talk about for the
draft this year. So it's numbers41 through 60. What are these
guys to you? They're like yournumber three wide receiver,
number four, a bench stash, abye week replacement. But if you
started out with the heavyrunning back approach, this
could be your number two widereceiver, number three,

(00:37):
depending if you went and gotquarterback or tight end early.
So pay attention to this one, just like in the running back
segment we did last night. A lotof these guys have issues, so
we'll talk about a bunch ofthose. But first a little bit of
housekeeping. I want you to goahead and take rice out of the
wide receiver 34 position andjust drop him and don't think

(00:58):
about him again. This guy mightget suspended eight games this
season. I'm absolutely done withhim. He's he should probably be
in jail, but whatever the rumoris that the NFL is looking for
eight games. So what I want youto do is I want you to take
Pittman and put him in there. Iknow that sounds like a stretch,
but Pittman is going to be thehigh target man now that Jones
is going to be the quarterback, and that was announced just

(01:18):
yesterday, so that reallyelevates his status. With down,
still hurt and Pittman, he'sstill a tall target, just, you
know, not as good as neighbors, obviously, but because he's not
in his prime. But Pittman hassome opportunities, so I would
put him in number 34 Okay, acouple other pieces of news.
Vailing went to the saints, sothat means Denver, you know, is

(01:38):
not going to use his servicesanymore. The saints, well,
they're terrible, so that's notgoing to help him out. So I feel
bad for the kid. Other news outthere, everyone in San Francisco
is hurt, except Pearsall. So youdefinitely want to get that guy,
and we'll talk about him in thisround for sure. Devonta Smith
has a new groin injury that'snot good. Both he and AJ are in
trouble. Addison is hurt now, plus he's got the three game

(01:59):
suspension, plus he's got to buyweek six. We'll talk about that
here shortly. And then, otherthan that, when we're looking at
this list, what we're about totalk about, I'm not really
worried about ADP I'll throwsome ADPs out there. But when it
comes to this range, all you'rereally trying to do is finish
your roster. Now, if you'regoing deeper than this and
you're in best ball, we'll talkabout a couple of guys after
this that you're probably goingto want to target in the later

(02:21):
rounds. But the big picture isnow you need now you need to get
the guy you want. Most of theseguys are wide receiver twos on
the team, so if the Alpha getshurt, they can become winding
receiver ones. There are acouple of wide receiver three
sprinkling in here, becausethey've got some serious talent,
and we'll talk about why that islast but not least. We're always
talking about opportunities.
Potential wide receiver twocould become a wide receiver

(02:41):
one, just in case there's aninjury. All right, let's get
into it at number 41 I havePickens now. He's going in the
sixth round, so you're gonnahave to pay a high price for a
number two wide receiver. I'drather go get a number one. But
if you believe that Dak is gonnathrow the ball more because he
doesn't really have a runninggame anymore, then he's in a
good place to get some targets, probably at least 100 obviously,

(03:02):
steven lamb is going to Commandmost of the targets. And number
42 I have Pearsall for all thereasons we already talked about.
Everybody is hurt in SanFrancisco. He's the only guy
who's healthy. So at least forthe first couple of games, you
can figure he's going to get atleast 10 targets. So I'm going
to go get that kid. And number43 Kirk. He's an 11th round ADP,
so you don't really have to goout and jump and get him. He's

(03:25):
the number two wide receiver, and I think he's gonna get a lot
of targets. His problem is he'sinjury prone. So if he can stay
healthy, I think he sees 100targets. And while I'm on the
subject of 100 targets, that'sreally what I'm looking at in
this range. If I can find guyswho have 100 targets or more, or
I think you're gonna push 100targets this season, you know,
after, say, a successful firstseason, and now they're moving

(03:48):
on to their second or third.
These are the guys I'mtargeting, and Kirk is one of
those guys. If it can come backfrom entry, number 44 I have
Jalen waddle. Now if you wantwaddle, you're gonna have to get
him at the end of the fifthround. That is way too high a
price for a wide receiver too.
There are so many huge playersthat come after him. I would
just pass on waddle. And I willsay waddle is kind of hurt, kind

(04:08):
of banged up, we don't reallyknow, but at this point, I would
pass on him. The number 45 Ihave Wandel Robinson now. He
goes in the 13th round. He's thesecond target, obviously, after
neighbors. Neighbors a littlebit banged up, so we don't know,
you know what his week onestatus is gonna be. So if
neighbors is injured or he'skind of nursing Wanda Robinson

(04:29):
could take a big step up in weekone. And last year he pushed for
100 targets. He could get thatagain. Number 46 I have Keon
Coleman. I like this kid. Hejust needs to catch more of the
balls that come his way.
Obviously, he's not the numberone target Shakir is, but Shakir
is nursing another injury,Allen. He's, you know, he loves

(04:50):
to steal all the touchdowns fromeverybody on his team. It's all
about me. But maybe now thathe's got an MVP, maybe he'll
share the love. Now, it was justdisgusting last year.
Here, I know you agree with me.
And number 47 I have Mims. Ithink Denver's gonna have a
breakout year. Bo Nick's gonnabe great. Mims is going in the
12th round. So you're gettinggood value here for a guy I

(05:10):
think is at number 46 correctionnumber 47 I think he's gonna
push 100 targets, and you mightget a couple of touchdowns. He
played a lot of special teamslast year, he might do that
again, and he got a specialteams touchdown or two last
year. So if he does that, youcould get some extra points out
of that. All right. Number 48 Ihave ray, ray McLeod. The reason
why I picked him is becauseMooney is hurt, and I think the

(05:33):
quote from the coach was, yeah,he might return sometime this
year. Well, that gives me awhole lot of confidence. Last
year, he had 87 targets withLondon, Mooney in, with Moonies
out. That's like 100 easy,right? That's when I'm putting
him at 48 and number 49 I haveDouglas from New England. I
think Drake made, makes a bigstep top 12 quarterback. At

(05:55):
least Douglas is going in the15th round. He's the number two
wide receiver there, and I thinkhe can push for 100 targets.
Number 50 I have a dunzi again.
You know how I feel aboutChicago. He's going in the sixth
round.
I have no idea why I would justpass on him, but he has the

(06:15):
potential to be here as the widereceiver too, with a new head
coach who has completelyoffensive minded. Number 51 I
have Addison, and I don't likethis pick. He's going in the
seventh round. I recommend youpass on him. He's suspended for
the first three games. He's gota weak six by so you lose him
for four the first six weeks.
This is not a guy who's gonnahelp you win your league. If
he's you know, your widereceiver number two or number

(06:37):
three, a guy you're leaning onas a starter. Well, you better
hope you win those first fourweeks that he's not there. You
might find yourself sitting onthe bench when playoff time
comes aroundat number 52 I have Bateman.
He's a number two in Baltimore.
He's going in the 13th round. Sohe's cheap. There flowers
doesn't get a whole lot oftargets. He gets about 120

(07:00):
Bateman's under 100 maybe hepushes for 100 but with Hopkins
health, that's kind of aquestion mark. They always run
the ball anyway. But I mean, ifflowers gets hurt, Bateman gets
more targets. So there you go,at
number 53 I have read from GreenBay, I think he's the best wide
receiver there. The problem isis Love can't get him the ball.

(07:20):
If he's healthy, he can push for100 targets. Right now, he's
hurt, but I think he'll beready. He already shed his
walking boot. I think he'll beready for week one, and everyone
else on the team is hurt. So, Imean, what else do you have? I
mean, golden, obviously, was inthe 20 through 40 range, and
that's why I put him there. Soread lands here. And Number 54 I

(07:40):
have worthy. He's going in thefourth round, probably with good
reason. Everyone thinks thatrice is probably not going to
play, or at least get such a bigsuspension that he's not going
to impact your team enough towant to go ahead and grab him.
Now a fourth round tender onworthy is pretty high,
considering that mahomes doesn'treally throw the deep ball very

(08:01):
well. Had trouble hitting worthylast year, and worthy is not his
number one target. All thosethings considered. I think he
falls in this round. And thenwhen rice comes back, I don't I
don't want to see he's going totake a back seat. I think it's
just going to hurt his value asyou get towards the playoffs.
All right, number 55 I havetyler lockett now. He's a

(08:21):
dependable vet, good hands.
Yeah, he's lost a step or two,but he's on a new team, rookie
quarterback, and it's a cheapprice. I mean, he's going way
deep in the draft. So this issomebody you could steal in late
rounds, and number 56 this iswhere I take a chance on Hunter.
Yeah, I know. I'm not a big fanof the kid going to overall in
the draft, attitude issues. He'sgoing to play both ways. If

(08:44):
you're in a league where you getcredit for him and he, you know,
he gets an interception ortackles or something like that,
where you're in the IDP League, yeah, this is a great place to
get him, and you might even pophim up a couple of spots here. I
don't think he's going todominate targets. They're saying
he could be the number two witha number three, I wouldn't say
that. I'm not sure that he runsthat grid of a route, but hey,
you know, we'll see whathappens. I'm guessing 6070,

(09:07):
targets, maybe a couple oftouchdowns, maybe an
interception or two for atouchdown. And number 57 I have
Mike Wilson, his issue. Harrisoncommands all the targets. Then
you got Connor running the ball.
Trey McBride, he gets a lot oftargets. So he's really the, you
know, the third wheel there, andhe has a problem holding out of

(09:28):
the ball. So if he can hold onthe ball, stay healthy and
compete and catch those balls inthe end zone that he seems to
drop all the time, it'll be goodat number 58 I have Yoshi boss
only because I love saying Yoshiboss. I'm just kidding. He's the
most solid number three in theNFL, I think. And if T Higgins
or chase get hurt, he is one ofthe most solid number twos out

(09:52):
there. He'll push for 7580targets, probably half touching
touchdowns. That's pretty goodfor 58
The number 59 I have shaheed.
He's a wild card. He's got a lotof speed. Catches those really
deep touchdowns his quarterbacksterrible. If he can get open and
he's got that kind of breakawayspeed, maybe he can give you one

(10:13):
of those big touchdowns or twowhen he's healthy. He pushes for
that, if the quarterback has theguts to throw the ball
All right, last but not least,at least for the number 60, it's
downs now he's already injured, but he is talented. If he gets
back on the field, I think Jonescan hit him. I just don't really

(10:34):
think he's going to push for 100targets. Let's see if he can
stay healthy. But he has thetalent to be here at 60 past
this if you're in a best ballleague or you have a deep draft
or deep bench, look for thesekey guys. Higgins, he's a rookie
wide receiver for Houston. TreyHarris, rookie wide receiver for

(10:56):
the Chargers. Isaac Tesla, Ilove Tesla for Detroit. And
Xavier Legette. He's not arookie, obviously, he's had a
couple of years already, buthe's got a good rapport with his
quarterback. These four guyscould really be difference
makers for you and their widereceiver threes on their team,
but an injury with some extraopportunity, they could be

(11:17):
breakouts for you. So if you'rein a deep League, look for these
guys after number 60. Okay, that'll do it for our show
tonight. Now remember 41 through60, there's a lot of unknowns, a
lot of injuries. This part ofthe draft, you expect guys to
jump five to 10 spots. It's notan exact science, and there is a
whole swath of pointdifferential between them, like

(11:40):
I talked about in the runningback show, take the guy you
want. Just don't overpay forhim. If he normally goes in the
15th round, don't take him inthe eighth if he normally goes
in the fourth round, don't takehim at all. He doesn't belong in
your starting lineup if I've gothim in these final 20 All right,
