Just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder, we
get slap gate, the sequel thatand a cornucopia of injuries to
your first and second rounddraft picks highlighted this
crazy sunday. Welcome back tothe show. It's ding
grab your chips and salsa. We'regoing to break down the games

(00:37):
from week one. We're going totalk about some injuries. We're
going to talk about yourstrategy for waivers this week.
We're going to get into it allright, let's start off with some
injuries. There were some bigones come out. I'm burning, and
nobody got burned worse thankiddo owners. Their number one
tight end is out on IR for thenext four weeks, hamstring

(00:58):
issues. We know he's got softtissue injury problems from
before. So not really a bigsurprise. Sorry to hear that
Bowers, he's day to day. Butremember, Pete Carroll comes
from the school of liars. Usedto do it all the time in
Seattle. You never knew who wasgoing to play in those games,
especially the running backposition. You know what I'm
talking about. So whether or nothe plays week two, totally up in

(01:20):
the air. I bet they sit him. Soyou better go look at the waiver
wire guys like Fannin, that'sthe topic, or Brent, strange,
another one. I would definitelygo look at those guys. I don't
think Bauer is going to playweek two, but you need to
monitor the practice wire. Werethese out and Hollywood brown
took over and got 16 targets. Ifhe's on the waiver wire, you
need to go grab him. He is a topwaiver ad this week or these day

(01:42):
to day? He might even play witha brace. Yeah, whatever. That's
not going to happen. RussellWilson, he didn't get injured,
but he injured his own team, perse. All right, those guys are
playing with their heads down.
Neighbors doesn't like it. It'stime for the Darth row. We need
to get Jackson in there.
Jennings, he was hurt, has ashoulder problem and his calf
problem. Now he's back to hisshoulder problem. He got his new

(02:04):
money deal. But you know, it's aSan Fran way, as soon as they
get their money, they get hurt.
Really, not an update day today. Yeah, they signed Kendrick
born. So does that mean he's outweek two, probably. But you
know, Jennings, he's trying tomake that extra money that he
got. So we'll see what happensthere. Drake London, another
popular guy. After getting 15targets, then he goes down. It's
a shoulder again. He looks morelikely to come back, but, I

(02:27):
mean, if he doesn't, pennix isgoing to be peppering everybody
else, and Bajan was definitely, you know, the big target hog on
that one. Then we've gotJunkins. He finally, finally
signed his contract. We'll seeif he plays week two. I'm not
sure he's ready for that. Imean, Sampson looked pretty
good, and he's a premium waiverad running back for this week.
Kate Stover, kind of a littleknown name, but who is he? He is

(02:48):
Dalton Schultz backup with himout the Texans are looking for
somebody to throw to. I thinkSchultz, he gets a couple of
extra targets that might besomebody to look on the waiver
wire. Say, if you lost Kittleand you can't get guys like
Fannin. Since we've beentouching on a couple of the
waiver ads that I think arepremiums this week, let's go
ahead and jump in and look atthose real quick. I think Jones
and pennix are excellent ads ifyou're looking for a

(03:10):
quarterback, especially if youhave Russell Wilson, ouch. Did
you really draft that dude attight end? Fan and yeah, he's
good. Brent strange. JuwanJohnson got pepper with a lot of
targets. He seems to berattlers, number one guy, and
then a wide receiver, KeenanAllen. Now if he's on the waiver
wire, then you didn't listen tomy show, because I have him in
the top 40, and he is crushingit for my team. Hollywood Brown,
obviously, Quinton Johnson.

(03:32):
Everybody's talking about him. Iknow a lot of people love
Quinton Johnson. I didn't thatwas a bad on my part, but so if
he's on the waiver wire, youneed to get that guy. Obviously,
he's a premium. And then bootyI'm not a booty fan. Let me take
that back, you know, I am abooty fan, but I'm not a, you
know, a booty fan. But in thisparticular case, you know, I
think it's a one off. We'll see.
I could be totally wrong here. Imean, May is all over the place

(03:55):
right now. And then at runningback, Sampson is really the one.
There's Junkins too. Ithink Sampson is going to have
it for now. He's getting, youknow, plenty of opportunity, but
the the line is just notcreating holes for him. He
didn't have a whole lot ofsuccess, and it was against
Cincinnati. That's not really agood run team. So all right,
let's start off the week onerecap with Carolina,
Jacksonville. You know, the bigquestion that got answered was,

(04:17):
Etn or Bigsby? It's Etn, wow, over 100 yards. And Bigsby, what
did he get? Well, he got a freeone way trip to Philly. Now he
might get a ring out of it. Soif I'm Bigsby, I'm thinking this
might be actually good for me.
Trevor Lawrence, he didn't lookthat great. I mean, if you can't
get Brian Thomas, but one catchoff of seven targets, that's

(04:37):
pretty bad. I mean, they had tomanufacture run just to get him
a touchdown, Thomas, you got tobe worried. Brother young on the
other side of Wow. He looks likethe first half of 2024, he's
missing throws even Tet, who isamazing, wasn't getting a whole
lot of quality targets. I'm notworried about Ted. I'm still
going to start him, but yeah, there's some, there's some
issues there. Now, Chuba, helooked pretty good. He got the

(04:58):
lion's share.
The other targets, as well asthe work on the ground. Donald
was awful. So, I mean, true,he's safe, and you're going to
start him every week. Red,strange. He got some legit
targets. I think he's a tightend one. He got a touchdown
vulture, obviously. But, I mean,he looked pretty good hunter.
Had, you know, a lot of targets,I think way too many. But I
mean, he looked decent. He justdoesn't have anything after the

(05:20):
catch. Once he catches it, hekind of looks like he's I'm not
sure what to do with my handskind of thing. Where do I go?
And then he gets tackled. Hegets like, two yards. Now the
Carolina defense, that'sdefinitely one to target. So
whoever you've got going upagainst them next week, you want
to play all those starters, ifyou can. The second game is the
giants of Washington. Wilson.
Man, that dude is terrible. It'stime for a dark throw. Let's get

(05:41):
Jackson in there. All right, neighbors, he was frustrated.
Everyone was frustrated. Onedown, Robinson, he was kind of a
bright spot for the team. Youknow, lots of targets there. At
least the running game wasatrocious. Everybody's like,
hyping up scatter bow because hemade a block, and then after
that, he was just gettingpummeled. Did anyone see him get
crushed in the red zone. Yeah, let's not get, you know, too

(06:02):
hyped about that. Wilson's goingup against Dallas, and he's
supposed to be the starter whofire up the Dallas defense is
looking good. Everybody on theflip side, Washington, they
weren't crisp on this one. Allright, the pass game was kind of
off. Obviously. McLaurin spent, you know, the entire summer
whining about his contract, sothat didn't help. Debo looked
amazing. You need to start thatguy. You know, he's looking like

(06:23):
prime debo. Let's, let's hope hedoesn't get injured. Obviously,
he's got that injury passedhurts. He was looking more like
a tight end too, but a touchdowndependent kind of guy. But he
did get a TD in this one, sothat's awesome. And then, of
course, the big question wasEckler. JCM, well, they started
off. Eckler was kind of like aOh, see, you know, he's just a
rookie, and then bam, all of asudden, JCM just crushing it. So

(06:44):
you need to start JCM everyweek. That kid's just gonna get
better and better, all right?
Arizona versus New Orleans. Wakeme up if someone shoots at us or
that door gets sucked off itsrails, sloppy game between the
cards and the saints, asexpected. Murray, one deep shot.
The rest of it's all short tomedium. His average depth of

(07:06):
completion. Not good, just aboutfive yards. Connor versus
Benson. Everyone's kind of ravedabout Benson because he had that
big run, but Connor got all thered zones. He got the touchdown.
They're both plotters. Connordidn't get his average five per
carry like he normally does, butoh well, I think he still looked
better. I wouldn't go running toget Benson, Harrison McBride,

(07:27):
they'll be fine. They gotPepperwood targets, so they're
they're still good to go in NewOrleans. It's Kamara and not a
whole lot else. Rattler, 47attempts, but he couldn't get a
touchdown. That tells youeverything you need to know.
Juwan Johnson, he got a few, alot of as well as Shahid, they
got some good going to continueto start those guys, especially
if John Johnson is on the waiverwire and you're looking for a

(07:48):
replacement for Kittle. Allright, going from one of the
worst games to one of the bestgames Pittsburgh, going into the
Jets. Yep, the prodigal son hasreturned, and all he wanted to
do is beat anyone that isassociated with the Jets. And he
did in spectacular fashion.
Rogers is back four touchdowns.
You need to keep starting him.
He loves his new team. As far asthe whole Pittsburgh running
back thing, it's been answered.

(08:11):
It's worn, but not by much, allright, that he got the red zone
touches, which is awesome. Itwas kind of a 6040 split, which
is not great. But Caleb Johnsonwas nowhere, so that's good. You
know, he got the qualitytargets. He got some yards. I
would still start Warren, unlessyou know something happens to
him. I think he's still the RB,one there, Pittsburgh wide

(08:31):
receivers. DK, four catches, 83and seven targets, got his
touchdown, which is good. Austingot a touchdown on six targets.
You know, the tight end questionthat got answered, but not in
the way I thought. Jonah Smith, six targets, but he caught five
for 15, three yards catch, wow.
And he did get a touchdown. He'sthe red zone guy, so, I mean,
that's who Rogers is looking to.

(08:54):
So Jonah Smith, if he's on thewaiver wire, touchdown
dependent, but a good pickupfields. Wow. He did exactly what
I said he would run now, he dida very good job of that. He got
two touchdowns. He threw atouchdown that was on a broken,
busted play to Wilson, but youknow, he did get a touchdown on
that one. Otherwise he didn'treally look like a good pocket

(09:15):
passer. Wilson did better than Iexpected, but again, it was on
that broken coverage. Pittsburghdoesn't really have a good
secondary, so if you aretargeting them, from a defense
perspective, your offense, youknow you've got some wide
receivers going againstPittsburgh, feel confident
you're probably going to get atouchdown against those guys.
Let's put that concern to bed.
Bruce Hall is the guy, butAllen, he's still getting red

(09:36):
zone touches. What is going on?
Brees Hall over 100 yards, andthen, you know, for the
touchdown, they give it Allen, that just makes no sense. I know
you're all pissed. I can feel itthrough the radio right now, no
other receivers on this team arereally viable. You know, it's
just really centered aroundfields, his inability to throw.
And then, of course, you gotWilson, who hopefully will get a

(09:57):
touchdown. I don't see a brightfuture for anyone who.
On the Jets. And I really likeTaylor as a rookie tight end,
but unfortunately, he only gotone look. All right, let's talk
about Las Vegas versus NewEngland. My biggest letdown,
probably this week, was Drakemay unable to make the throws
happen. 46 attempts. That'sreally good value. The sub 300

(10:17):
yards, only one touchdownagainst the Raiders, and they
have a poor secondary, so that'sconcerning. Eight targets to
Henry. That's good. Four for 66he's a tight end. One. Eight
targets to booty. We talkedabout him already. Seven targets
to digs. He got six of 57 butdidn't get a touchdown. So that
was kind of a, you know, thatwas a bummer. And then seven
targets to Douglas, who onlycaught two of them for negative

(10:40):
two yards and a touchdown. Thatis the craziest stat I have ever
heard. How do you catch twoballs for negative two yards and
get a touchdown? Did you backin? Do they give you like,
negative yards for goingbackwards into the end zone? Not
that I recall. But I mean, hey,you know, the NFL is changing
rules all over the place.
Henderson, Stevenson, are youkidding me? These guys were
awful. Trey on Henderson, fivefor 27 Stevenson, seven for 15.

(11:02):
I still have questions. Genolooked good, 362, yards passing,
a touchdown and interception.
That's pretty good. He probablyshould have had another
touchdown there. You know, hetargeted Bowers, a ton,
obviously. Before, you know,Bowers went out of the game, and
then he targeted Myers. Myerslook good. Threw a big ball to
Thornton, which was nice. So,you know, there was a lot of

(11:24):
Thornton hype. You only got fourtargets, but he still looked
really good. Now the Bowers isout. Mayor came in, caught four
for 38 which is about kind ofstandard for mayor, but he's he
might see more if Bowers doesn'tplay next week. So he could be
somebody you could target offthe waiver wire as well. Janty,
wow, he could not have proved memore, right, 19 rushes for 38
yards. Are you serious? Youcould basically fall forward for

(11:47):
two yards. A guy that big, hedid get a touchdown. He did a
rolling left move on a two yardplunge. He got two balls for two
yards. So basically, janty istwo. Now, let me guess this
doesn't he wear the number two.
Weird, okay, I don't know thisis kind of like Twilight Zone
type stuff here. He wasn'tdominant. I think the O line is
hurting for Las Vegas. I reallydon't see janty having a big

(12:07):
game unless he's up against areally weak defense. So watch
out. I know he was your firstround pick, but you've got to be
worried. All right, Miami, theColts, whoa. Miami is a train
wreck, and everybody's thinkingthe same thing. To a you need to
lay off those quarter poundcheeseburgers, bro, you're
looking a little bit big. 14 of23 for a touchdown and two
interceptions, and thattouchdown was pathetic to a

(12:30):
chain in garbage time. Did heget another concussion? I don't
know. There's talk that he mighthave, but this, this is going to
be a terrible season for him,for Hill, a chain who got
peppered. I was still worriedabout these guys and their
production late Garbage Timemight be the only way you get
points out of any of these keyguys. I mean, a chains usage.
Look good. Hill was terrible.

(12:53):
Six targets, four catches for40. That's not good. It's like
last year, tua just could notsee Hill. He doesn't have deep
ball presence anymore. I justdon't know what to think. I
think if you've got Hill, maybetry to trade him. You know,
trade while you've got thechance. Otherwise, this could be
a really down season. He lookedpissed on that sideline. Now, if

(13:14):
he goes to Kansas City, lookout. I know the rumors are out
there. Ali Gordon, that's abummer. Here's an opportunity.
You're getting your butt kicked.
You could get the rookie sometime. And what do you do? You
give them two attempts. Thecoaching in Miami is awful. The
entire culture there is awful.
Just avoid these guys. Like Isaid, Sell high on Hill. Or

(13:34):
really, it's more like sell lowon Hill. On the flip side, the
Colts, man, they couldn't havelooked any better. Jones, I
mean, comeback Player of theYear. What is going on, man?
JTS, people, they're not happy.
Why he vulture two touchdownsfrom JT I mean, seriously, one
yard punches.
Taylor, owners have to be justabsolutely insane right now. But

(13:57):
he could not have thrown anybetter. I told you, Pitman was
going to be beast six for 80 anda touchdown. That's awesome.
Obviously, Warren, he's lookinglike a tight end one. He might
finish top three if he gets thiskind of usage, nine targets,
catching seven of those for 76that is awesome. After that. I
mean, the rest of the team that, that's your star players.
There's nobody else getting anylove right now on the Colts, all

(14:19):
right, the Battle of Ohio, wheremy gen alpha is out there, Ohio,
all right, Cincinnati. Wow.
Their O line is, it's really, really bad burrows. His MVP
season is already over. Yeah, Iknow it's week one, but he ain't
gonna catch a couple otherquarterbacks who had some big
weeks, and we'll talk aboutthose guys later. But it's over
for him. He's not getting 5000yards. I was wrong on that I was
hoping he was gonna but noChase. Awful game for him. Lots

(14:42):
of pressure coming from milesGarrett that the Browns
definitely had it dialed up. Idon't even know how the Bengals
won. Oh yeah, I knowpaging field goal kickers. Can
anyone hit? You know, a 35yarder too soon. I don't know.
But Chase, he's in trouble.
Chase.
Down nice usage. But I mean, 21rushes 43 yards and a touchdown.

(15:06):
It's like janty numbers mancaught two for 25
there are, they are home toJacksonville next week, so that
should be much better. Well, wethink we'll see what happens,
but I hope they it should be abounce back week for the entire
Cincinnati team, if not. Row,row. All right, Flacco, he
looked pretty good. Man, 45attempts, 290 yards, a touchdown

(15:26):
and two interceptions. One ofthem wasn't even his fault for
the running back thing. That's ahead scratcher. It looks like
it's gonna be Samson movingforward, but let's take a look
at Samson's numbers. Real quick.
12 for 29 that's, that's, that'sreally, really bad. Okay. I
mean, that's not good at all.
Eight catches, though, with somemore yards, okay, so that's much
better forward, he lookedterrible. I mean, I don't think

(15:48):
he's going to start judging whoknows. So Samson's out there, at
least for volume. You got to goget him, but it's still a
question mark. Judy, five for 66that those are pretty good
numbers, you know, from yourstarting wide receiver and a PPR
league Tillman five for 52 and atouchdown. You hope that Judy
gets a touchdown and kind ofelevates him for next week. But,
you know, those numbers kind ofmake sense. Fannon was the big

(16:10):
winner. He got loaded up withtargets. He led the team with
nine, okay, and, joku. I don'teven know where that guy was. I
mean, he got six targets, butonly three catches. Fan and he's
on the waiver wire. You're gonnahave to go get him. All right.
Let's talk about the Bucksversus Atlanta. Mayfield, three
touchdowns, but only 167. Yards.
He looked awful in the firsthalf, if he didn't notice,
almost 40 yards on the ground, decent fantasy day, but boy, I

(16:31):
would have loved to see moreyards through the air, and so
would have guys like Evans, right. All right. Irving, man.
He just looked really bad. TheAtlanta front four is pretty
stout. You got a touchdown, allright, but 14 carries for 37
that's not turning any heads.
All right, four catches foreight yards again, two yards a
catch. What in the world? Man ondude, he was gone. Was he

(16:56):
playing? I don't think, I thinkhe's still hurt. I really do.
I'm not sure I would start himnext week. Igbuka, man, you
know, he lived right up to thehype. Guys, four for 67 and two
touchdowns. Evans drew most ofthe coverage away from him. I
think there's regression coming.
He's not going to get twotouchdowns every week, but, I
mean, this is a guy you need tobe starting. Pennix. He looked
pretty good. 42 attempts, 298yards and a touchdown. 21 and

(17:18):
one on the ground. That's reallygood. Bijon, amazing as always.
I really don't need to sayanything about him, but you
know, he was only averaging twoyards of carry, but his catches
six for 101Oh, baby. That's why he's the
number one guy. Now, the loss ofLondon, that's huge. We hope he
comes back. Where are thetargets gonna go? Is the big
picture if London doesn't playand you need to watch his

(17:40):
practice regimen. This week, hehad 15 targets before he left.
Wow, that dude's gonna be thewide receiver one if he can come
back. He's day to day. So wheredo the targets go? Well, pits.
Pits got a lot of targets. Hegot seven for 59 ray, ray
McLeod, he might get a couple ofthose. Bijon, obviously got a
ton. So those are kind of youryour winners, as far as that is

(18:02):
concerned, if London doesn'tcome back, but they will
struggle without London, believeme, those targets cannot be
Peter Bush bread, you knowacross the entire team that
that's going to be tough, allright, 40 Niners at Seattle.
Purdy, he got hurt. Kittle hurt.
Jennings hurt. We talked aboutthat pretty, I mean, way to

(18:22):
Rocky. It up at the end.
Brother, 277, for two touchdownsand two interceptions, won the
game. I mean, MCC, 31 touches, huge game, but guess what? That
is not sustainable. MCC is goingto get hurt if he's doing 30
touches a game, you better hopeand pray. You know he's he's in
the ice tank after this, becausethat's just not sustainable for
a guy with that many injuries.

(18:45):
Pearsall four for 108 he'sprobably going to get more. If
Jennings doesn't come back, kills definitely not going to
come back. Obviously, I like thetongues kid, the guy who got the
touchdown at the end. I mean, dude, he's got some elevation.
He held onto the ball gamewinner. You got to give it up
for this kid. He's not a bigname. Obviously, there's going
to be more guys to go target, and we've already talked about
those guys. As far as Darnell isconcerned, wow. You know, Donald

(19:08):
reminded me of when he was backwith the Panthers. He just
looked awful. But the 40 Ninerdefense, they are legit. They
get a lot of pressure on him.
But, I mean, there's, there's nosugar coating it. Donald was
terrible, no touchdowns at 150yards, wow. I mean, dude, you
know, look yourself in themirror. Okay. How do we answer
the Charbonnet? Walker,Charbonnet, stronger, better,
faster. He got the red zonelooks and the touchdown, but he

(19:32):
didn't get any targets. Walker, you know, those owners have to
be worried. Obviously, he got acouple of targets, which is
nice, but none of the Red Zoneworks. So for now, I think
charbo was winning this one, butit was a 5050, split. JSN, what
can I say? Keep starting thatdude. He's all on the ball
though. Cup was a ghost, andthat is a scary thing for a guy
with that much talent. Donaldcan't find a great possession

(19:55):
receiver like that. All right, moving on, Denver versus.
Tennessee. You know, this was anugly game. I if there was a time
when I thought Denver was goingto lose, let's just say it. Bo
does not know. Week one, Nickshad real trouble. He was
erratic. He was careless withthe ball, but he got himself
together and for a win at theend, his defense kept him in and

(20:15):
which is, you know, there arethe top defense. Dobbins was the
RB 116, carries for 63, and atouchdown, couple of catches.
Harvey looked fast, six for 70that that's great. But if
Dobbins is going to get thatmany touches, you got to hope
that Harvey picks up a touchdownon a catch or something.
Otherwise you're you're just notgetting any love there. Sutton,

(20:36):
he looked like a great widereceiver, one with a touchdown,
so continue to play him.
Ingram's out. So you're probablylooking for another tight end.
Troutman is not your guy. And Iknow he's on Denver, but he's
not your guy on the flip side,Ward versus the number one
defense. No surprise, could itbe any tougher for the rookie? I
mean, honestly, and in gamenumber one, his boys didn't
really help him. They werefrustrated. His father was

(20:56):
frustrated in the in the crowd.
You can you've seen that video.
He didn't turn over the ball, soI give him a lot of props on
that. Pollard was the RB onewith 18 to 60. He did fumble the
ball, had one catch, not a greatday for Tony. The lead target
guy was Ridley. He had eight, but he only caught four for 27
he just wasn't getting qualitycatches. And then you have iron
our seven targets, but he onlycaught two for 13. That's not

(21:20):
good. So I wouldn't go rushingin to grab that to grab that
guy. Tennessee is a team thatyou play your defense against,
and you do not play startersunless you have Tony Pollard and
Ridley and even those guys I'mworried about you, if that's
your you know, whenever your twokey starters, let's talk rams
versus Houston. It was a slowstart, all right, but it got

(21:41):
good at the end. Stafford reallypicked it up. Puka, he's a
machine. I mean, he got knockedout like twice. He's like the
tone data, but he came backblood and all and just dominated
Adams. He got a lot less looks, but he had a really tough cover
corner on him, so I'm notsurprised. Pooka got all the
love there. Now, once again, there was no timeshare. It is

(22:03):
Kiron Williams, and KironWilliams quorum comes in a
couple of times. It's Karen'steam. He's going to get the
touchdowns. There's really noquestion. If you're holding on
to quorum, you're praying thatguyron gets injury, because it's
just not going to happen. Now,Houston, they get a solid
defense. That's why they were init for a while, but when you
look at the numbers, it's scary.

(22:26):
Chubb is the number one runningback, but he's totally
ineffective. Nico and Schultze, they tied with a team high of
five targets, five. Now I knowthe Rams defense is decent, but
five, that's really bad. If theTexans are going to win moving
forward, they've got to funneltheir targets to Nico. He needs
to get triple those targets. Andthat's not looking good.

(22:49):
Higgins, that wide receiverrookie, he was ineffective.
Hutchinson, two. Lot of hype onboth those guys in the end,
you're not starting them now ina game that hurts me the most
watching the lions lose GreenBay. Michael Parsons, He's a
beast. He's an O line record, and our O line needed to be
wrecked. It was terrible. Allright, Green Bay defense is

(23:11):
legit. Watch out if you'replaying against them golf, they
look bad. You could tell thatthe Detroit Lions were missing
their two key coaches from lastyear. I mean, I think I would
still play all the starters forDetroit. Don't get me wrong,
you're going to play all thestuds on Detroit, but, man, you
need to temper theirexpectations on this one,
because they just look off. Iknow Tesla, there's a lot of

(23:32):
hype on him. Great catch too, bythe way. Love this kid. He's
going to be awesome for us, buthe's not going to get a
touchdown every game he'stouched on depending he's
probably going to get maybe acouple of catches, so don't be
blowing all your fab money onhim. I mean, the guy's a dart
throw at this point, unlesssomebody gets hurt on the other
side, love was not impressive.
His defense was more impressive.
But love really wasn't he's nota top quarterback, not in my

(23:54):
opinion, Jacobs still a top 10running back. He gets it done on
the ground. He just wears youdown. The guy's a beast, all
right. He's a mini Derek Henry.
He's not Derek Henry, obviouslygolden. Wow. He face planted. I
don't even know where that kidwas. All the hype and none of
the targets. It was justterrible read. Flash, a little
wide receiver. One status there, got a touchdown. But then, you

(24:15):
know, now his foots standard.
Watch his practice. He's justnot at 100% craft. That was not
a surprise. He's gonna get a lotof targets. I expect more from
him moving forward, but for therest of the skill players on the
team, yeah, love just doesn'tthrow the ball enough to make to
get it done. This is the Packersidentity, running the ball short

(24:37):
passes, controlling the game.
All right, what was another gameI forgot Sunday night. It was
like a really boring game. I'mjust kidding, ravens, bills. Are
you serious? Right now? I wentto bed and woke up and the bills
won. And I'm sure, you know, alot of people in America did
anyway. When it comes to thesetwo teams, you just start
everybody all right, there'sreally no reason not to. Keon
Coleman, he really showed thathe's going to be.

(25:00):
Amazing. It really stepped it upa notch with over 100 yards a
touchdown late in the game. Cookcaught five balls. I mean, he
looked dominant. Henry, the dudeis not human. I mean, seriously,
Derek, Henry, amazing. And then,of course, the quarterbacks,
these are your MVPs for thisyear. So you're going to start
everybody on the ravens and thebills every single week period.
Dot moving on Monday night game,Chicago, Minnesota. Don't call

(25:24):
it a comeback. Call it acollapse. Okay. Caleb is not a
good quarterback, all right. Hehad one good drive, and then
everyone was like, Oh, check itout. There it is. It's amazing.
Ben Johnson is a crazy, awesomeoffensive coach. And then what
happened? Nothing. Nothinghappened. It was pathetic. I
can't believe it. They couldn'trun the ball. They couldn't

(25:45):
throw the ball. Caleb wasmissing open throws. You just
need to get used to it. That'swhat's going to happen. He can't
read defenses. He can't throwwith accuracy. He just gets all
excited, expecting to run theball a little bit, but he's
going to be like maybe a top 15quarterback, if he's lucky,
Swift is a clear number onerunning back. You're going to
keep doing that. The rookiebehind him, he's he's not even

(26:07):
going to be having impact. Andthen, of course, DJ Moore, he's
going to get peppered quite abit. A dunzi got the lucky
touchdown. But this is not thestandard. These are guys, if you
start them, they're alltouchdown dependent for the
Vikings. McCarthy, not stellar.
Okay, he's growing. He's goingto get better, but right now,
he's not so good. If you'restarting him, you're taking some
real risks. He's not going toput up, you know, really huge

(26:28):
numbers, until maybe late in theseason. So you need to temper
your expectations. Maybe playyour backup. I mean, if you got
Daniel Jones, I would playDaniel Jones over McCarthy. I
know McCarthy has weapons, butseriously, Chicago, their
defense is stout. I mean, thiswas a tough this was tough for
McCarthy Jetta, he just had anokay game, not really great.
Yeah, I know, you know, hefinished off strong, but

(26:49):
seriously, Hawkinson, not sogood. I mean, that's not good
uses for a guy that you wouldexpect to be, like a top five,
top seven tight end, Masonversus Jones. Mason is the
winner from a speed perspective, but Jones is the one who's
trusted in the red zone. Ifyou're starting one of these
guys, neither of them are goingto get 20 touches in a game
unless one of them gets hurt orone of them just goes off.

(27:10):
They're both touchdowndependent. Unfortunately, these
guys are both RB twos at best, unless something happens to the
other one. And that is the endof our show. Folks. We talked
about a lot. Talked aboutwaivers, we talked about
injuries, we gave a recap waysyou want to think moving
forward. This week's coming up,man, it's already Tuesday, and
we're talking Redskins. I'msorry, you know, I still think

(27:31):
of those Redskins commandersversus the Packers on Thursday
night. So get up for that game.
Gonna be high scoring, bigdefense versus big offense.
We'll see if Daniels can, youknow, wake up a little bit from
week one. Should be awesome.
Now, as always, we give a shoutout to our men and women uniform
