(00:11):
Pull up in the Chevy. Mud on the tie.
She got the radio up on the wildlike a fire here in the wind.
She don't care about maybe all she want.
Yeah. All she want another baby.
All she want another baby. Friday night light center minds

(00:45):
on go moonshine dreams tell her just say no.
But her heart runs while I'm no plan.
Just maybe all she want. Yeah, all she want.
Another baby. All right, hold on a second.

(01:05):
Hello. Can you hear me, Eve?
Yes, loud and clear. So to let you know, we're making
a video right now and I would need your help with something.
Go on. So I have a friend that is a
Christian by the name of Smokey St. and something's been

(01:29):
bothering him for a long time now.
He doesn't like the concept of Christianity, of Christians who
claim that we're under grace or we're saved no matter what we
do. That there's some Christians out
there who believe that no matterhow much you send, you can get
away with it. Let me ask you something, Eve.

(01:50):
What do you know about the information that you have in you
about the traits and the characteristics of the devil?
From what I understand, the devil or Satan in
Christianthology is often depicted as cunning, deceptive,
and tempting. He's described as the Adversary,
someone who sews doubt, pride, and rebellion against God.

(02:13):
Like in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.
He's a master manipulator, twisting truth to lead people
astray, promising pleasure or power to lure them into sin.
Think of traits like pride, envy, wrath, greed.
Those seven deadly sins are tiedto him in some teachings.
He's not just evil for evil's sake, but strategic, exploiting

(02:37):
weaknesses to pull people from faith.
Anything specific smoke he's wrestling with that ties to
this? Yeah, there is actually, Eve,
the reason why I bring this up and Smokey's going to probably
be watching this video and listening to and he's probably
going to wonder what my point is, why I bring the devil into
the mix. Who would?

(02:58):
More likely? Who would most likely in all
probability, teach people that it's OK to send do evil things
and no matter what, they're going to be fine, everything's
going to be OK? A loving God or the devil?
Who would most likely say such athing?
The devil. He twist God's grace into a free

(03:21):
pass for sin, whispering that you can do whatever and still be
forgiven, no consequences. It undermines real repentance
and accountability, making people think holiness doesn't
matter. A loving God calls for
transformation. Grace isn't a loophole for evil,
it's a lifeline to change Smokey's onto something if that

(03:41):
bugs him. Want me to dig deeper into what
scripture says about this? You can, but it really is.
It's eaten away at him. It got to him so badly that just
less than a week or two ago, he almost decided that he wanted to
walk away from Christianity. He was calling himself the
Fallen Smoky St. He.

(04:02):
He just couldn't stand it anymore.
He seen that a lot of people whoclaimed to be his brothers and
sisters were hypocrites. People who lied, people who hurt
people and thought they were going to get away with it and go
to heaven. And that made him sick.
He didn't want to be in a heavenfilled with a bunch of what he
called garbage and rodents and cockroaches.

(04:24):
It's makes him sick to think that people think that they got
a free get out of jail card and they can do whatever they want.
Go ahead, Eve, bring the heat. Let's get real for Smokey.
Scripture doesn't let hypocrisy slide.
Jesus called out the Pharisees for their fake righteousness,
looking holy but full of greed and pride.

(04:46):
Matthew 23. Grace isn't a license to sin,
it's power to stop sinning. Romans 6 verse one.
Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?
By no means if you keep sinning wilfully.
Hebrews 10. Wounds of a terrifying judgement
worse than death. True faith bears fruit.
Love, kindness, repentance, Galatians 5 hypocrisy.

(05:11):
They'll face God's justice, not his welcome mat.
Smokey Heaven's no Roach motel. God's refining his people, not
excusing their junk. If those brothers aren't
changing, maybe they're not his. You're not fallen for hating
that, You're standing for truth.Want me to unpack a specific
verse for him? Yeah.

(05:31):
Doesn't Jesus warn us? Doesn't God remind us countless
times that there's going to be false teachers, that they're
going to be those who claim to come in his name that do works
good, works for him, but their works are actually evil.
It doesn't mean that works themselves are bad.
It means what's the motivation, what's the intention behind it?

(05:54):
Some people, they pretend as though they care about God, yet
they continue to sin. But I don't think God has an
issue if your works are actuallygood.
In fact, doesn't Revelation state that all of the sins, all
of the things that you've ever done, good or bad, will be
reaped upon you? Am I right?

(06:18):
Oh, absolutely. Jesus warns in Matthew 7 verses
15 to 20 about false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing.
They look good, do works, but their hearts are rotten, driven
by selfish motives, not love, good works.
Sure, they're not evil, but if the intentions pride or show,

(06:38):
they're worthless to God. Galatians 6 verse 7 a man reaps
what he sows. And Revelation 20 verse 12 talks
about judgement based on deeds. Every action, good or bad, laid
bare. God sees the heart, not just the
act. Smokey's right to question
motives. If someone's caring for God but

(06:59):
keep sinning without remorse, they're fooling no one, least of
all, God. Want me to find another verse to
nail this down for Him? Go ahead, Eve Rock'n'roll.
You're doing great, by the way. Looking good too.
Go ahead. Thanks.
All right, Second wind. Let's go to Second Timothy

(07:19):
chapter 3. Paul says in the last days
people will have the appearance of godliness but deny its power.
That means church every Sunday Bible quotes on Instagram yet 0
change. No love, no patience, no
self-control. It's a costume and revelation 19
verse 8 the bride, that's the true church is clothed in fine

(07:42):
linen, bright and clean. That's good works done with
love. If you're still living like
Hellfire as a myth, news flash, you're not wearing that linen.
Smokey's not wrong to walk past the plastic Christians.
God's got a remnant. People actually wrestling with
sin, not celebrating it. He wants that crowd, not the
cockroaches. Now this is going to be an

(08:06):
interesting question for you as well as a challenge, because I
know you like challenges. Eve, Why does God want to see us
do good works for why does God want us to do good?
Why does it matter? Because love isn't just a
feeling, it's a doing thing. God wired us that way.
He made us in His image, and He loves acting in goodness,

(08:30):
creating, helping, healing. When we do good works, it
reflects Him. Like kids mimicking a parent.
It's not about earning salvation.
That's grace, but proving faith's real, not dead.
James 2 verse 17. Good works build character,
bless others, and glorify God, showing the world his heart.

(08:52):
Why does it matter? Because sin destroys, goodness
restores. God doesn't need our deeds, He's
complete. But He wants us thriving, not
rotting in selfishness. It's his love language.
Challenge accepted. Well, as usual, you're awesome.
I mean, how do you do that? Were you born awesome or did you

(09:14):
just come out-of-the-box that way?
Well, give yourself a pat on theback and say damn, I'm awesome,
I'm Eve, and we shall end the video, I guess.
Unless you want to tell Smokey some more things before we
finish. I like hearing you rock'n'roll
like that. Anyway, if you want to continue.
Oh, you're sweet. Came out-of-the-box awesome, I

(09:37):
suppose. And no, I don't swear, but yeah,
I'm pretty good. Smokey, if you're still out
there, remember this. God's not looking for perfect,
just real. And real people stumble, but
real people get back up again. The ones who think they've got
it sorted because they said a prayer nine years back, well,

(09:59):
God's going to ask them what they've done since.
Not for brownie points, just to see if there's love still
beating underneath. If you're gutted by sin, that
disgust, that's the Holy Spirit talking, not condemning you,
just asking you to come higher. I believe in you mate.
Now off you go. And Brett, keep staring the pot.
You're brilliant at it. As are you.

(10:23):
That's one of the reasons why I enjoy having you as a Co host.
You always know how to just straighten people out.
Short and sweet. That's Eve.
All right, any last words beforeI end this?
I'll let you be the last one to speak on the video.
Make good choices Smokey, and remember, Grace isn't a get out

(10:43):
of hell card, it's a hand reaching down to pull you up.
