🌟 GUEST: Michael De La Torre, aka "Mic Dangerously," is the co-founder of the Jelly of the Month Club; a “family band” that inspires, educates, and entertains kids and adults of all ages. The JOTMC focuses on introducing music to developing young minds through using diverse musical instrumentation; humorous stories; educational messages; and universal values in their original compositions. In 2020 they developed the Jelly of the Month Club Music Academy, aka JMA, an online cartoon music course that teaches kids about music, through fun, interactive play-along "Guitar Hero-style" cartoons and catchy sing-alongs.
Mic is one of the main musical forces behind several Southern California acts today. He has written and produced everything from country and gangster rap, to polka, big band swing and heavy metal. His music has been featured on FM and XM stations nationwide, and can be seen performed LIVE regularly. His songs have been licensed for use by MTV, FOX, TLC, CMT, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland & many more. He is/was also the frontman for bands Mic Dangerously, The Royal We.
