Welcome to season 7 of this podcast, where I am talking all about the Suit of Pentacles. I’ll be going through each card in the suit, one per episode.

What we explore in this episode:

  • What the Ten of Pentacles teaches about dedication, mastery, and meaningful work

  • Symbolism across different decks: books, tools, craftsmanship, and sacred repetition

  • How to know when your work is aligned with your purpose and when it’s time to pivot

  • The difference between persistence toward meaningful goals vs. staying stuck in perfectionism

  • Why mastery is a process, not an endpoint

In this episode, we talk about the Ten of Pentacles, a card of legacy, fulfillment, and wholeness. It marks the moment when effort ripens into abundance, when the structures we’ve tended offer not just support for ourselves but nourishment for others.

The Ten of Pentacles invites us to reflect on how we’re contributing to something greater than ourselves: a family, a community, a legacy that outlives us. It asks: What are you weaving into the fabric of the world? How are you nurturing the people and spaces that will carry your love, wisdom, and resources forward?

True wealth isn’t just about money; it’s also about the richness of a life well-lived, surrounded by care, connection, and community.

Today's Tarot Pull:

From The Citadel: A Fantasy Oracle by Fen Inkwright,  I pulled The Poet (reversed), a card about relationships and vulnerability. In reverse, The Poet reminds us that in protecting ourselves from hurt, we can unintentionally wall ourselves off from meaningful connection. It invites us to notice where self-protection has become isolation, and to consider what relationships (human or otherwise) we’re willing to nurture, risk for, and invite deeper intimacy with.

This card asks: What would it mean to be known, to be witnessed, to let others see both your strength and your softness? Vulnerability is not weakness, but an essential part of a fulfilling life shared with others.

Reflective prompts on this card:

  • Where has self-protection turned into isolation in your life?

  • Where are you holding back vulnerability in your relationships?

  • How might you let yourself be more seen or known in your relationships?

  • What legacy do you want to leave for your family, community, or chosen family?

Boysober

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
