In this episode, hosts Eric Kilby and Mike Jay sit down with Bex Reiff who has spent many years perfecting her role as a merchandise manager. Many start in this role and transition to something else that is more of their forte. However, after exploring many other positions in the music industry, she discovered her passion in this very essential role. Some of the clients she has worked alongside of include Amy Grant, Mercy Me, Michael W. Smith, Colbie Caillet, TobyMac, Matt Maher, Mandisa, CMA Fest, K-Love Fan Awards, Winter Jam, and so many more! Not only has she sold merch on the road, Bex has overseen the concourse and all vendors on extremely large tours. She has also helped develop branding and logistics of merch behind the scenes as well as being a fantastic VIP coordinator for many one-of-a-kind backstage experiences.

Some highlights and moments you don't want to miss in this episode are:

  • A man intentionally running through a glass door
  • Continually trying until you get a 'yes'
  • The two people that helped her find her passion and calling
  • How doing events in college led to her career
  • Fire Marshal's with a tape measure
  • Dealing with burnout in this industry
  • Venue staff in a bloody fight on the concourse
  • Bex shares such great truth in this week's 'Road Map for Life'
