Danielle and Cheryl have been talking for 25 episodes. To celebrate, they decided you should hear someone else talk for a change – so they invited Menopause Specialist Katelin Cashman, PA, back to talk about bone health in middle age women. While 50% to 85% of variation in bone mineral density is due to genetics (thanks mom), you can also make changes in your diet, lifestyle, weight training, and supplements to optimize your skeletal system. Katelin explains bone density (along with other metrics for bone health) and DEXA scans (the gold standard on measuring), and then helps you understand what those tests mean and how they can help you through your mid-life bone health journey. The World Health Organization estimates 30% of Caucasian post-menopausal women already have osteoporosis. Don’t be one of them. Like Cheryl. Cheryl is one of them.

We want to hear from you!
