Speaker 1 (00:03):
We're here, we are here.
That's the open.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Oh, that was so awkward.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Yep, it was.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I wish it recorded from the start of the 5, 4, 3, 2
, 1, because, I swear to God, Ifeel like I clam up and I get
hot.
I'm like, oh no, oh no.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
So what we learned from this is that it literally
records.
It starts recording at likethree.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Oh, does it.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Because in two podcasts in a row I heard two
one and I was talking about it.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Oh, okay, interesting .

Speaker 1 (00:30):
So you get the little insight into what it's like,
what happens with Brooke and I,right before it starts.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Before we talk about anything.
I totally forgot to ask you onthe last one how is your
brother's foot?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So he's doing much better.
He's walking on it.
I've seen a photo of itrecently and it's healed.
I should say it's healing.
I should say that it's healingMuch better than what it was,

(01:05):
but yeah, it's cyanara.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Did he have dissolving stitches or does he
have to go back and have themtake out the stitches and stuff?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I don't remember honestly.
And after this, when we're done, I'm going to find out, because
I'm curious.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I didn't know the aftercare of losing a toe, Like
do you go back to the hospital?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah, I'm going to guess that it was real stitches
for something like this, BecauseI know the dissolving stitches
say this carefully, I'm not adoctor are usually for more
minor injuries when it justbarely needs to be stitched.
I know, for heavy stitches Ithink they traditionally like to
use real stitches.
Okay, Gross Makes sense.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I don't know, I've just been thinking about it.
I'm like uh.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I don't feel like.
I feel I also, when I listenback to the story, I think I
feel like I was superinsensitive about it sometime,
like maybe it's just my brainbeing like that.
I was like, oh my God, you know.
And I'm like when I listen backto it, I'm like that's Chris's
brother.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
No, I mean, it's a wild story.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It is wild.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
You didn't learn about it until I told you.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
No, like literally, in the moment of the show I had
no pride.
Yeah, it was just like, oh myGod.
Yeah, but no, I've beenthinking about it.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I'm glad he's doing it, he's doing okay, he's doing,
he's doing okay.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Is this fiancee scarred for life?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I think she might be.
Okay, I think that I mean, it'spretty disturbing to be
unknowingly looking down andgoing what am I looking at?
And it's half a toe Of yoursignificant other nonetheless.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Have you heard all of the TikTok, the icks that
people catch, Like what aspecific ick to catch is when
you find your husband's toe inthe middle of the loft.
I know Terrible, it's crazy, Iknow Even that I sound so
insensitive, but I'm wishing thebest for your brother and his
fiancee.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
So people are going to have to see what I do live
here.
As I'm looking at myself on thescreen, I'm like I'm looking
like really down.
I'm going to lift the screen up, but I want, brooke, while I'm
awkwardly moving my screenaround here, if you're actually
watching the video, what do youwant to tell us about?
To start today, there's a storyyou have.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
It's not really a story, but I'm loving your hand
on the hip thing going on overthere.
It's really I'm loving that.
I just own it For some reasonthat feels comfortable at the
moment.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
That's like my thinking hand placement.
I just do this and look reallycool, Really really cool.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
No, you look like you got some serious, too, going on
.
That's so funny.
Well, I'm really excited.
It's not really like a story,but I'm excited.
People who know me know that Ihave a little brother and he's
like my BFF.
I love him and a few years ago,me and my best friend we flew

(03:47):
down to Disney when he startedhis college at Disney and we
surprised him for his birthday.
No, sorry, we flew down toFlorida when he started going to
college in Florida and wesurprised him by taking him to
Disney for his birthday.
I think it was his 19thbirthday or something.
And now the roles have reversedand now we get to go down and
Tyler is an intern at Disney, sohe gets to get us into the

(04:10):
parks for free.
So you know if you're an oldersibling and you you know you're
like I don't know if I want tospend the money.
They'll get you back someday, you know they'll get you back.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
They'll get you back.
So, are you planning going soon?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah, yeah, we're planning on going.
I think next.
Yeah, I think yes, next week.
I always get so scared about, like saying when I'm leaving,
but I guess when this comes outI'm not gonna reference when we
will be there or not.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
But I always get nervous about being like not
gonna be at our house that week.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
So, yeah, no, we're excited, we're going down.
Didn't really wanna go down inthe middle of summer, but it's
funny because right after webooked our tickets he got the
notification that he's gonna beable to extend his stay there
and intern until next, I thinknext April.
So if I had just waited oneweek I wouldn't have to go down
when it feels like Satan'stoenails.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh, that'll be.
It's pretty guaranteed it'sgonna be warm.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
So it's gonna be pretty hot, but I'll check in
with you before that so that youcan help me prep.
As far as how hot it reallylike it's like, I'll probably
check in with you and be like soam I gonna die or will I be all
right?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Well, it depends on what your definition of die is
gonna be, and I can give you ananswer.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
You got any info off the top of your head about what
it's looking like right now.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Without even looking at anything.
I'm gonna go to guarantee thatthe humidity is gonna be high
because it's July and Florida issurrounded by water, so and the
sun angle is high, so it'sgoing to be hot no matter what
midday.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
And I chose to get bangs in the middle of the
summer, so I'm just gonna haveto deal with a sweaty forehead.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
You're gonna be dealing with a sweaty forehead.
It's gonna be awesome.
Since you've got those bangs, you've been liking them.
You've been happy with them.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, I'm always like it's one of those things where
you can't go back, so you kindof just have to embrace it until
they grow out.
But I'm giving them my owntrims and there are days when I
feel like they look good, andthen there are days when I feel
like what did you fucking?
do so I'm assuming that when I'min Florida, most of it is gonna

(06:19):
be on the side of what the fuckdid you do?
Because when I get hot andsweaty they stick to my forehead
, and when they stick to myforehead they're even longer, so
they go right in my eyeballslike this.
So it'll be an adventure.
Hopefully Chad's stillattracted to me after he sees.
And the other thing is thatit's funny because in the last

(06:41):
podcast we were talking aboutNew Orleans when I went to New
Orleans with my sister and mymom my mom when she gets hot,
she turns like super bright red.
Oh, we talked about this.
She turns like super bright red, and I get that from my mom and
me and my sister.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
We were talking about running and I was like I hate
people that I don't really hate.
We were walking around with theraces.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yep, I think we went in the middle of July and we
were walking around New Orleansand I was sweaty and hot and I
was super humid and my sisterturned around and she goes oh my
God, you are mom, because I wasjust.
It's a super red dripping sweat, it was so bad.
Did I say that on the otherpodcast?
I don't think you did.
I think we just talked about.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
We just talked about races, yeah, and running, and
specifically that was likefinishing a race and seeing
people in the photos of thephoto finish and they look
untouched, untouched and theywon.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I'm fair.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
And they're in like first, second, third place.
And then there's me in the backof the pack, happy with just
some thing run and I look likeI'm gonna die.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Yeah, literally it's the hospital evidence.
It's like, oh, that's what helooked like before he came in.
That makes sense no reason.
He's on the table, yeah, so I'mexcited about that, even though
I'm gonna be super hot.
So I probably won't be taking alot of photos of myself because
I can only imagine I don't knowit's gonna be crazy, but he's

(08:02):
really excited to have us andhe's.
I told him I want him to mapout like all of the things that
we need to see.
So now that he's got like theinsider's view, he can kinda
he's gonna make us reservationsat, like, the Star Wars lunch
place, which I guess is like areally, oh, very cool yeah, none
of us like Star Wars, but hewas working in the hotel and he
was like it's freaking awesome,so we're really excited to go.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh, is that actually?
I wonder, if that's, is it theStar Wars hotel Cause that's
closing, so you may, you shoulddefinitely get in, if you can do
that.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
The Star Wars hotel is closing.
He loved it.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Well, there yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Is it really?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
There, cause it was the.
It's like their two day orthree night I don't know if it's
two night, three night staywhere like it's the experience,
like you stay in the hotel andit's like each day is different
and there's activities and it'slike you're part of it, but it
was there.
They're not gonna be running itafter a certain point this year
, I think, cause it's just I'mgoing to go to get it was really
expensive.

(08:59):
Oh, it's dumb, expensive, dumbexpensive, where I again, it was
a I think it was a decision.
They thought more people weregoing to be apt to pay for it
and I'm going to go to guessthey're not.
So there was the initial floodof people that you know Star
Wars, heavy people but what I'veheard is that, like it's cool
but it's not worth.
Like at the grand or something, tyler said it's awesome.
I believe it.
No, I absolutely believe it.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
He was like working in there is like incredible.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
It must be yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Cause you feel like you're actually in space.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
That's very, very cool.
Yeah, I will say that the StarWars.
Have you been there?
That's like the actual StarWars themed land at Walt Disney
World.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
No, Galaxy's Edge is what they call it, the last.
I don't even know if it wasthere when we went last time.
The last time we went I was itwas 2019.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
So was it there then?
I don't think so.
No, no, no.
So I haven't.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
There was like one ride.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
I think there was like one ride that was like Star
Wars but, it wasn't that one'sbeen around for a while, yeah,
decades Cause we did it when wewere a kid.
My little brother, kevin, who'shad the toe incident.
He was probably like eight.
Maybe I'd have to go back andlook and we always Are we
talking about the roller coasterno, it's like an indoor ride.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
It's like the.
You're like, it's like a, youknow, not virtual reality, but
you're looking at a big screenand the whole like car you're in
moves around, and it's likeyou're flying around in space.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
I also haven't been on rides in like kind of a long
time, so I'm like a littlenervous that my old lady body is
going to be like okay, no,don't, you can't do that anymore
.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
Oh, they're not that bad, they're cause they're not
like roller coasters, they're.
They're like oh no, those arewhat I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
We're going to go on roller coasters, but I'm like
scared.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
They have the new Tron ride too.
That.
That looks pretty cool whenit's like the, it's like you're
on a like a motorcycle bike, butit's a roller coaster, so like
you're leaning, like you'reholding on.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Are you a Disney adult?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I'll go there and enjoy.
So okay, kelly loves Disney.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I love Disney too.
Okay, Kelly's a.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Disney adult.
Kelly's a Disney adult.
I love Disney, I like the rides, but I'm more.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
I like the I like your face.
You went like this, you went.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I love Disney, no, no , no.
Yeah, it sounds terrible, it'snot.
I really do enjoy when we go on, but we have gone enough times
where we're like even Kelly's,like you know.
We can take a break from it andthere are certain rides there.
I will say this Disney Worlddoes, or I should say that all
the parks I would have supposed, but I've only been to Disney
World.
They do people management thebest, like there's all.

(11:20):
You never feel like no oneknows what they're doing or
people are upset Like everyonelooks relatively happy.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah.
They do the rides I mean, howcould you not?
You can go to the parks whenyou're not at work.
I know it's so cool.
That's all Tyler does.
He calls me.
He's like hey, I'm at Epcot.
I'm like, oh, lucky you.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yeah, there are a ton of cool things that you can do
there.
When you wait in line, like allthe lines are like themed and
there's things to do, like it'salways there's always something
going on.
The food is pretty good and, yeah, the experience overall is
very good, whereas UniversalStudios they don't do as well
with people management.
There was like and we did aDisney a few years in a row and

(11:57):
then finally I went to Universalwith Kelly and I was like cause
I really want to do some ofthese roller coasters, cause
they got more more intense ridesversus, like you know, rides
that are family friendly, I'dsay.
But Disney is very much, that'spretty much, you know, that's.
All they have is a lot offamily friendly with slightly
more intense rides, like SpaceMountain.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Universal's a little spooky.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Universal can be spooky and the rides are real,
like their new roller coasterwith the called the Velosa
coaster.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
That is an intense roller coaster.
Can you tell me about that?
Is that the?
Is that like with Velosa?
So dinosaurs?

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Jurassic Park themed Yep.
It's straight up and it's-.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Is that the one where the T-Rex is like over your
thing?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
No, that's the, that's the, the flume one,
that's the long one.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Dude, I know that stuff is fake, but I still am
like on the off chance that thisrobot like either malfunctions
and like the head comes off orit's still scary.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
It is.
I was afraid of Jurassic Parkwhen I was a kid and I did that
ride as an adult and it freakedme out Because you it's themed
like you go through, it startsoff and it's it's like the movie
.
It's like it starts off, you'regoing through and it's all the
like nice dinosaurs.
So you're on a log flume andyou just kinda tour around and
it's like the Brontosaurus andlike you know that they're, you
know, adorable, cute and it'sit's all part of the ride.

(13:10):
And then all of a sudden itlike part of the theme.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
It goes faster.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
It goes a little faster and it's it's part of.
It's like you're in the movieand it's like the voice talking
and things like oh no, likesomething went wrong, blah, blah
, blah.
And like all of a sudden youstart going through and you see
like little raptor dinosaurslike peek out of the bushes and
go back and it's.
And then you go and go into thebuilding which is dark and it's
like the lights went out, soit's like flashing lights.
And then, yeah, when you get tothe top, literally a Transaurus

(13:33):
Rex head like is right there.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
No no.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Oh yeah, no, it's freaky, it's, it's very cool,
but that's, that's, in my mind, minimal compared to the their
new roller coaster, which islike your.
As Kelly told me after it wasdone, she was like as soon as it
started, she was like I don'tknow, jesus, take the wheel,
because I've got nothing.
This is, yeah, it was.
It's intense, it's very.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
It's one of Wait, wait, wait.
So do I, okay.
First of all, since it soundslike you've gone down there no,
no, he's crawling in her sleep.
Since it sounds like you'vegone down there more than I have
probably ever in my whole life.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I've only been to Universal once in the past.
I've only been there twice mywhole life.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
There's a free boardwalk at Universal, though,
right With, like, therestaurants and stuff like that.
Okay, cause I wanted to takeChad there, cause I don't think
he's ever been to Universal.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, it's outside of the park, it's just outside and
it's like it has likeMargaritaville.
Yep, it's got like your bigchain restaurants but it's like
I thought I remembered thatthere's a big movie theater,
like there's things to do, likein that little.
It's like a shop center andthen at the end of it is the
entrance to Universal Studios.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
It's like the Universal version of Disney
Springs.
Yes, that's exactly what it is.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Yep Disney Springs is bigger.
Disney Springs is much bigger.
This is much.
It's much smaller, but it'sstill got like two levels,
multiple places to eat andthings like that.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
I'm just ready for some good food, but okay so tell
me about that Well, before Ilose the thought.
Kelly's gonna have to give mesome recommendations on like her
favorite things to do.
If you guys go like relativelyoften she can tell you
everything.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I've got a couple of people that can tell you
everything A few of my brides.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Well, my brother, but then a few of my brides too,
thank you.
Some of my brides are likeDisney adults dude and they plan
like every single family, whichI'm not hating on anything, I'm
not yucking anybody's younglike.
If you love it, you love it.
I'm I'm happy for that.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
But I haven't heard that phrase in a while.
I'm not getting anybody's youngYep.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
But okay, so tell me, like what made here's?
The thing is like I I Alwaysthink to myself I think I'm too,
I think I like have thisproblem with like being too real
and I can't separate like fairytales, like I'll watch things
like the bachelor right, or likethe bachelorette, and when I
see these women on thebachelorette and I'm like I Wish
for just like a minute I couldadopt that mentality of like

(15:47):
life can be a fairy tale.
You know, like I wish I coulddo that.
But I swear to God, the fuckingsecond I get on one of those
roller coasters, like if, if,the sound came over and it was
like oh my god, oh no, we'regonna have to go faster my brain
is I can't.

(16:08):
I get so scared, but I can't.
In my real life, I can't belike.
Fairy tales are real, but I geton there and I'm fully immersed
in that, like I'm like.
But what if there is a real one?

Speaker 1 (16:19):
you know so going.
Oh my god, so I was hilariousnow is envisioning you on this
ride and like just some, somelike Kid, like a 12 year old
who's finally brave enough toget on the ride but but gets
separated because of how theyarrange the seats and sits next
to you and you look down and belike it's actually gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
No, I could totally see myself doing that too,
because I would freak myself outso much that it would scare the
kid yeah oh yeah, people bescreaming for dear life.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
The passengers watching from the ground, all
the people like just seeing theroller coaster go by, be like,
oh my god like.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
What's wrong with that woman?
Is that woman having apsychotic Chad?
Better be ready, but okay.
So tell me about the rollercoaster and what made it so
scary.
The what's it?
What's it called?
Again.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
The Velocicoster.
Velocicoster yeah, it actuallywasn't so it's not so.
Disney rides are really.
They're like really themed, like you go on and it's all part
of the story and such, and this, the Velocicoster, definitely
like, has some of that, but it'smostly just roller coaster like
.
It's just a scary roller coasterbecause it's one of the ones
where and a lot of them aredoing this nowadays, because

(17:28):
I've been on multiple recentlywhere, instead of your
traditional the chain, you justgo.
You know all the rollercoasters energy is simply
derived by gravity, where itjust pulls you up on a chain and
and then you go down at the topof the hill and all the spins
and loops and everything issimply based on that one Pull to
the top and you're just ridingit around.
Now they're getting reallycreative with coasters by,

(17:50):
instead of going up a hill, they're using propulsion methods
where and that's what this onedoes where you get on now.
And it's like on both, so likethere's a whole story again of
like, while you're waiting inline, that you're like at
Jurassic World, at the park, andthen all of a sudden so like
Chris Pratt is on the screen andthe actors from the movie and
it's all.
But it's like a different story.

(18:11):
It's like ever so slightlydifferent for the ride.
And on your left, when you getin the seat, they put you in and
then you go on a track that's astraightaway, and then you're
still inside the building and onboth sides are you are like
these screens but they look kindof real, like they're like
their gates and but they're buttheir projector screens.
So they say on the ride like,oh, let them out.

(18:33):
And then, like the gates openand on both sides of you you see
the Raptors run by you, on yourleft and right on the screen,
and when the last one runs byyou, the roller coaster just
fires just straight like fullyou know full speed ahead.
You get launched like a likestraight-up propulsion method
and it you go Really fast, really fast.

(18:54):
In a second like I'm sure it'snot a second, but two to three
seconds You're, you areaccelerating Incredibly fast and
the ride is full of twists andturns and you feel the G's the
whole time and I Truly thoughtKelly was going to come out of
her skin when that ride washappening, because it was she

(19:14):
was, I think on the Me too Kelly, me too yeah.
It was a, a, definitely a.
As soon as it started, I waslike oh God, oh no, this is not
good and.
But but I, at the same time, you're like, also like, wow,
this is, this is incredibly fast, this is, this is a lot of a,
this is a lot of energy on thisride.
And then there's one point atthe end where it goes over the

(19:35):
lake in Universal, because thepark is, the whole park is
around like a big pond, I'd say.
And where they have the.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Jurassic Park ride right.
Not the Jurassic, no, the theJaws ride in the in that big
pond right.
Well, maybe I think the Jawsride was in the old this.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Two parks in Universal there's the regular
one and then there's Islands ofAdventure.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
And I.
This is an Island of Adventure, and anyway the ride as it comes
to its end.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
It's like final point .
It like does this big loop andthen when you come around the
loop, you're going like downinto the lake and then it twists
at the surface.
So you, you literally look likeyou pull back, it looks like
you're about to just go rightinto the lake.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
It's such a weird feeling.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Yeah, it very well done, very well, well done.
But it was when it was over.
It was like I don't even knowif I can do that again because I
think I'm too old.
Like I had like a headache justfrom the twists and the turns.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Like the whiplash kind of.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Little bit, little bit.
It was more over just my head, because you're like kind of
you're locked in but you'rebothered.
It's just a lot of G's, You'rejust twisting and turning at
pretty high speeds.
So wildly impressed, wildlyimpressed with the ride.
But yeah, if you're not aroller coaster person, don't do
that.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Chad, if you're listening, we're not doing it.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Oh, I'm sorry, Chad Never mind.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
It's really like super light easy super when you
hear the screams.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
it's just people having a good time, they're just
yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
No, what really?
Gets me is the, the going intothe water and the turn because
you like me, I don't, I don't, Idon't fuck with water, I don't
do that.
Like I if there's just like thetiniest little thing that could
go wrong on that thing and thatturn doesn't quite turn and I'm
going in the water.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
You would be unhappy.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
No, I can't do it you yeah that.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
So I'm sorry, Chad Does Chad like coasters?

Speaker 2 (21:18):
I don't know, that's something that I should know
about my husband, I think.
I think he does.
We've gone to like six flagsand stuff, but we've never gone.
We've gone to six flags but itwas kind of like I don't know
we're going to get the fastpasses this time, because I feel
like every time we go somewherewith rides it's kind of like
mostly in line, like we're justlike literally standing in line

(21:40):
forever and we might get to ride.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Yeah, this time of it , yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Especially if you get older.
He's a thrill seeker, so heprobably really loves it, but
I'm a little less brave than Iused to be.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
When you get older.
That's what happens sometimes, and then I think I'm going to go
to guess that when you, whenyou are much older, maybe it
reverses and you're like fuck it.
Fuck it.
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Cause I think most of what my like hang up is is,
like my neck, I'm afraid to getoff of a ride and be like, ow, I
need to go to the hospital.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
It's.
Yeah.
If you're a nerve, I woulddefinitely say don't start with
the Velocicoster.
Then it is.
It is any.
I would label it as a eight outof eight and a half out of 10
for intensity, absolutely so.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
All right, Well, uh, noted, but yeah, tell Kelly that
I want, I want.
I've been trying to pull onething from each person that I
know as a Disney adult, as faras like, okay, what do you think
I have to do?
So, if you ask Kelly, ask Kellytonight, like if you could give
her one thing to do while she'sthere.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
I will ask her that.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
I will ask her.
I mean, I can also ask you, cause you've probably gone with
Kelly multiple times, so youknow what she likes, but I do,
but I actually I'm going to Ihaven't asked that question,
particularly like one thing.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
One day, what are you going to do?
Like for me?

Speaker 2 (23:00):
even if it's just a restaurant, like if it's
something or you guys are likeyou got, you have to go to this
restaurant.
Um, I'm happy to do it.
I think we're going to have twodays at Disney, and then we
have two more days to play with.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
The one piece of advice, then would be if you
want to do a restaurant, reserveit way ahead of time like ahead
of time, tyler's trying to getreservations to that restaurant
this week.
Okay, good, yeah, cause if youtry to do it in the day of, you
won't get it.
So it's just that's crazy.
There's certain things therethat will still be open, but
it's mostly going to be like thefast stuff.
Fast stuff.
Yeah, I will say animal kingdomhas the best food for the fast

(23:34):
food, and I say that.
But my interpretation of bestis they've got a more.
They've got healthier optionsor I don't want to eat fried
food all the time.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
So they have your interpretation and my
interpretation is very different, very different.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
I mean I enjoy, I enjoy a good.
You know, they just have.
They just have a variety ofoptions that I think are more
spread out versus, like theMickey pretzels and the ice
cream.
So which I'm, I'm all about,it's fine.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
I was just going to say, hey, I love, I love them.
Sounds great, Sounds great.
No, but I'm excited cause Chadhasn't gone since he was like,
like, a like, a little littlelittle kids.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Oh, that's cool then I know I'm like really good
balance now too, for like adultsand kids, where the the Star
Wars land in general is for,it's for adults Like well, we're
going to try to do like thedrink around the world too.
I want to see if like yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
I've never done that cause I've.
I've always gone like I don'tknow with people or when I was
too young just be careful.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
It's easy to go ham and go crazy Like we did that.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Oh, you get hit fast.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
They know their drinks aren't incredibly strong.
It's just.
It's just the sheer volume, ifyou, you know you hit all the
places and some of them aresugary and it's just a little.
I mean, I want to say 10.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
And that's an eccot right.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah, I wish I could go through all the countries,
cause there's I don't know, 10sounds right.
It's probably somewhere rightthere, but started Mexico.
That's rule number one.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Started in Mexico, don't start in.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Canada, cause everyone goes, you'll be going
backwards.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Why.

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Um, you'll be just going against the traffic going
against everybody.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, okay, starting in Canada, and that's an eccot
right.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
No, started in Mexico .

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Oh sorry, haha, no, started in Mexico.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Okay, started in Mexico.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
That's generally my go to anyway, but I don't know
what they have in Canada, Idon't even remember now.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I would think beer or something, molson beer, yeah,
and that's going to fill you up.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Yep, yep, um.
I hope everybody was excitedabout listening to our Disney
podcast now that we're Disneyadults.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
We had talked about this all the week.
Actually, what we should do isinvite people who are Disney
experts on this.
That would be great.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
That would be good, get them.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Next time one of us is going on a trip, we have to
like put out a poll like who'sbeen there?
All right.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
We'll be there in 15 minutes and then we'll Great
idea, that's a great idea.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Because then it'll give other people like an
insight, you know.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
All right, let me know what Kelly says as far as
where we need to go, but I willstart in Mexico with a hopefully
spicy mark.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
That is like I'm trying to think.
If they have the spicy mark, they should.
They have a big variety.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
So if not there, they've got to have one
somewhere.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Good place to go actually.
So when you this is my onething and then I'll be done.
Okay, in Mexico, when you getthere, there is a you can get a
margarita, like on the outside, and they're like they've got a
like main food court area.
You can't miss it.
And then there's the pyramid.
If you go inside the pyramid, Ithink it's it's themed with the
movie oh God, what was theDisney, pixar movie with the?

(26:25):
It's the Mexican holiday Cocoa, cocoa, thank you.
So it's themed with Cocoa onthe inside.
I love.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Cocoa, have you seen it?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Yes, it was great.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Oh, it makes me cry.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
Incredible.
That was a great movie.
Yeah, that was one of theirbest ones.
And yeah, cause they just, theyjust did such a good job of
balancing for kids like theconcept of death and life.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
It just was not so well.
I remember at the end of it.
I was watching it and I waslike Teri, I turned around and
looked at my sister and Nicolegoes oh my God, come on Right.
I was like, I was like sobbing, like I was like, oh my God it
was so good.
Yeah so good.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
So you go inside the pyramid and it's.
It's Cocoa themed, really cool.
They got like the guitar thatyou know that looks like it in a
glass case, but the real lifeversions is it is.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
It's really cool.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
There's a restaurant inside the pyramid that we
actually really love.
That one I would recommend too.
And inside there, though, inside the restaurant there's
like a water flume ride, that'slike the three amigos with
Donald Duck, and they thinkthat's a little cute ride that
you can do inside the pyramid.
But anyway, they have a tequilabar on the inside.
Going there, that's where youwant to get your drink, because

(27:37):
they are, they have veryspecific tequilas in there.
That are for different drinksand it is worth it because Kelly
and I both got them, and theywere excellent.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
I don't think I understand the drink around the
world thing.
Are there specific restaurantsthat offer specific drinks that
go with it?
Or is it like you go to Mexicoand you grab a drink and then
that was your one drink forMexico?

Speaker 1 (27:59):
So the drink around the world thing you're not going
to see advertised like inDisney.
There won't be a sign that'slike stop here for your drink
around the world.
I honestly think the drinkaround the world started as a
fan-based thing that has justtaken off now, but they don't.
They don't push it Like Disneyisn't pushing or advertising
that.
So there are, but there areplaces at each country that you

(28:19):
can get a drink, multiple places.
So, like Italy has, obviouslywhatever.
Yep, Okay, yeah, there's some.
I definitely if you go to Italyand you like wine we tried some
wine that they that youliterally can only get there,
and Italy Like they don't sellit in the US.
So, that was a cool little youknow thing that we did.
So the one that was weird thatwe really had a hard time with

(28:42):
was it was a drink in China andit was a.
It's a very clear like almostlike opaque.
It wasn't sake, because that'sthat's Japanese, I believe I'm
going to say that carefully.
I think I'm pretty sure I'mpretty sure I'm saying that
carefully, but there was a.
There was another drink and Iremember it.
The flavor of it was likenothing else I had and it was

(29:05):
just like I think you had to.
I think you had to beintroduced to this at a younger
age because I was like this issuch a bizarre taste.
Yes, it was an acquired taste, that's for sure.
Sweet, and I literally havenothing to compare to, but
anyway, there's a lot ofinteresting drinks as you make
your way around, some of themyou'll be familiar with
somewhere you won't be,definitely a good place to try
all that stuff, though.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Yeah, we'll probably just get one and split them
between the two of us orsomething.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
So I'm going to push put the kibosh on the Disney
chat which we have Aw.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
I know I was kidding Cool.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
So this is a good time to talk about.
One of the things that Brookeand I had discussed, really at
the beginning before our podcast, was the concept of
entrepreneurs or not.
Let me take that back.
Not even entrepreneurs I'mtalking about really anybody

(30:01):
Humans and humans who lean intoa job or a career at a young age
and then go through their lifeand what do they do if they feel
stuck or want to change, ormaybe the job presented
something that they didn'texpect and they don't like it,

(30:21):
and they spent years of school, you know, preparing for this,
which, by the way, you do at ayoung age.
So I will always say that youare never 100% sure what you
want to do, because your brainis not developed at that point.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Which isn't kind of crazy, that we go to school with
like majors and minors at like18 years old.
I didn't know anything aboutanything at 18 years old.
All right, guys, that's partone of today's episode.
Just a quick reminder that werecord these episodes and divide
them into two parts to dropevery Tuesday.
