Brenda Harkins is the founder of the Harkins Leadership Group and  Loud Is Not A Language® model of communication and engagement, designed to help people increase the impact of their influence, the effectiveness of their communication and the quality of their relationships.  Brenda is an author, speaker, mediator, minister and professional coach specializing in Personal and Relationship Development, Team Strengths and Cohesiveness, and Conflict Resolution.  She founded Transform Team International, a non-profit designed to transform people, places, and structures from trials and tragedies to triumphs.

Brenda lives in Texas with her husband Michael who is also her best friend, supporter, and greatest challenger.  Together they have seven children and twelve grandchildren - so far.  Brenda’s passion for mining gold in people is shared with her love for God, family, good friends, good coffee and Texas.  Not necessarily in that order.

For Brenda, her work and play blend together and she knows how blessed she is for being able to do what she loves in North America, Central America, Asia and Europe.

This collaboration: "Stuck Is NOT Your Story: Change IS Possible" is a global movement of stories shared by like-minded co-authors who overcame brokenness, mediocrity, and being stuck to show that you are not alone and that it is possible for positive change.
