Ever felt like you suddenly don't belong where you once did? That uncomfortable feeling isn't random. It's your soul's unmistakable signal that you're ready to evolve beyond your current reality.

As we navigate life's complexities, many of us experience this spiritual growing pain: relationships that once nourished us feel constraining, environments that once welcomed us feel limiting, and the familiar routines that provided comfort now feel like cages. This displacement isn't something to fear. It's actually a profound invitation to step into something greater.

Through this deeply reflective episode, I explore how taking radical responsibility for our lives transforms everything. After over two decades on this journey, I've discovered that our reality isn't happening to us. It's flowing through us based on where we direct our energy, attention, and power of response. When we shift from being reactive to circumstances to becoming intentional creators, everything changes.

The journey requires examining who we surround ourselves with, questioning our limiting beliefs, and developing emotional intelligence that allows us to respond rather than react. Most importantly, we must recognize fear not as an enemy but as an alarm system from our soul, signaling we're ready to step into new territory. Growth happens precisely where comfort ends.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Welcome to this episode of Evolve Mastery.
I'm your host, princeton Clark, and I hope you guys are doing
well.
Man, we've been growing througha lot of seasons.
We look at the world.
We see so many different thingshappening.
Something beautiful that I'vebeen noticing is just how many
people are beginning to feel theunderflow and the tug of their
soul to step into something new, this deep calling, this deep

(01:17):
knowing that they're not here tojust fit in, they're not here
to just blend in with thesystems of this world.
They're no longer seeking tovalidate, they're no longer just
feeling the need to just go outand just speak whatever is on
their mind.
They're just in the space ofdeep introspection.
Places that they used to fit, they don't fit anymore.
Relationships they used to fitinto, they don't fit into

(01:37):
anymore, and life in and ofitself.
It feels very unfamiliar.
And I always say this is a signwhen you're being called to
grow and evolve out of yourcurrent reality.
And so many people arebeginning to feel this.
It's like you're experiencingthis life.
You're seeing the world throughnew eyes.
You're seeing people andsituations and circumstances
through new eyes and you'reasking yourself where do I fit

(02:01):
in all of this?
Where do I fit?
And you may feel completely outof place just in general, but I
wanted to do this episodebecause it's very important
during these moments, at thesetimes in our life, for us to do
the deeper introspection, to askthe deeper questions, something
I tell my clients all the timebecause they ask how do I stay
in flow, how do I remainpositive even when I'm facing

(02:24):
challenges or experiencingproblems in my life?
And I say you know what I don'treally see at this stage of my
growth, after over 23 years?
At this stage of my growth, Idon allowed the relationships
I've allowed the circumstances,I've allowed what I've given my

(02:46):
energy to what I've thoughtabout, what I've spoken about
and how I've chosen to respondoverall to my life.
And with this comes a highlevel of accountability and
responsibility that I feel ineach moment to be very
intentional and to also be veryfocused on where I'm putting my
energy, where I'm putting myenergy, where I'm putting my
focus, where I'm putting my time.
And this is where a lot ofpeople need to learn to grow,

(03:10):
because a lot of the times, it'sso easy to get caught up and
trust me, I've been there butit's so easy to get caught up in
the external.
But remember, no matter whatstate you're in as a spiritual
being, we are all spiritualbeings, regardless of how much
we talk about it or acknowledgeit.
We are all spiritual beingsregardless of how much we talk
about it or acknowledge it.
We are all spiritual beingshaving a human experience, which
means that at the core of thelife that we are creating, there

(03:31):
is a power that we're using atall times, and I always say no
matter what state you're in,you're powerful because you are
creating the reality, or theperspective or the story that's
creating the framework for howyou choose to show up, or based
on how you choose to show up.
And so if you're creating anegative reality, you're still
using a lot of power to createthat negative reality.

(03:52):
But when we start stepping intoaccountability and
responsibility over our life, westart functioning differently.
We stop being a slave tocircumstance, a slave to
different situations, a slave tothe different things that are
coming up in our lives, and westart responding.
Your life is yourresponsibility.
It's based on your ability torespond.
We start responding in a newway, and so something I tell my

(04:16):
clients is really look at whereyou are right now, and you got
to be willing to be reallyhonest, because if you want to
grow, I always say, doing thesame old things will never get
you a new result.
If you are tired or you'veoutgrown the space that you're
in, then it's time for you tostart responding in a way that's
going to create something new.
Now you may say, princeton, Idon't even know what I want to

(04:38):
create.
Okay, to that I say that meansthere's nothing but a blank
canvas in front of you.
This means there's room fortrying new things, experiencing
new things, building newrelationships, and it's in these
new spaces that you're going tobe given more room to grow.
A lot of the times when we feelstagnant, it's because we're no
longer growing.
We're too familiar orcomfortable where we are and we

(05:00):
stopped doing things thatstretch us, that evolve us, and
so the soul starts to feel stuck.
But stuck is just an illusion.
It's a result of inactivityinto creation mode that
manifests new things.
And so I wanted to talk to youguys a little bit about that,
and I wanted to give you guyssome tips today on how you can

(05:20):
start showing up the mindset youneed to have as you show up,
and I wanted to encourage youand maybe nudge you just a
little bit so that you starttaking your life seriously.
If you follow this podcast longenough, I've shared my story.
I've shared what I'veexperienced several times, but
often people are asking how didyou grow from being that person

(05:40):
that was angry, that was bitter, that was shut down, that was
just living this life, that wasmalicious and just lost
altogether, to being who you arenow?
And to that I say following myattempt on my life and trying to
end it all, I realized that Iwas where I was because I chose
to be there.
I was in the reality I was inbecause I had chosen to respond

(06:01):
or to use my power to respond ina way that created that reality
or allowed certain things to bethat I could have always chosen
to step out of.
Would it have been challenging?
Yes, 100%, and even as I beganto grow, it was very challenging
to step out of familiarenvironments.
It was very challenging toleave friends and even family
that were no longer in alignmentwith where I wanted to go, and

(06:22):
I had to choose to set thestandard for where I wanted to
go.
But I had the sense of urgencyand I think this is the thing at
the core that we don't have.
For most people, you don't haveit.
There's no sense of urgency, there's nothing waking you up
every single day, pushing you tomanifest, and the reason that's
happening is because you trulyhaven't met yourself yet, you

(06:43):
haven't truly learned how tolove and honor your life, honor
each breath so that you can flowinto the newness you say you
want.
You haven't learned to loveyourself and, as a result, you
haven't learned to honor yourpower.
And as a result of not lovingyourself and honoring your power
, there's no urgency, there's nosoul led, intuitive push to
create anything new.
As a result, you're lost in allthe programs, you're lost in

(07:05):
all the belief systems, you'relost in all the perceived
limitations that you've placedon yourself or that society or
that people have placed on you, because you gave your power away
and if you want to change that, you got to start, little by
little, taking that power back.
You have to start saying no tothe things, the people, the
relationships, the circumstancesthat no longer honor you, and
you got to start asking yourselfquestions like what's one new

(07:28):
thing that I can do today tostart creating change in this
area and then start making it apractice every single day.
It's just like exercising amuscle.
You don't go to the gym onetime and then all of a sudden
you're strong, all of a suddenyou've developed the body you
want.
All of a sudden you'vedeveloped muscles and whatever
it is.
You don't just go one time andthink, oh, now I'm changed.
And it's always funny to mewhen I go to the gym and I work

(07:50):
out and I see people standing inthe mirror flexing after a
workout.
I'm like the results don't comeright.
After you do a workout, youmight get a little pump and it
might look good, but as soon asthat wears off, you know you're
going to be looking like youlook normally.
But as you consistently move, all of a sudden the composition
begins to change.
The way you eat changes, theway you look begins to change,

(08:13):
all of this stuff begins tochange because you're
consistently exercising so youcan develop in the way that you
want to develop.
The same thing applies as above, so below.
The same thing appliesspiritually.
And unfortunately, we put moreattention on the body and the
external than we do on theinternal, which is what we are,
and this is why so many peoplefeel lost in their life.
Also, it's important to notethat your tribe, the people you

(08:34):
surround yourself with, also areinfluencing you.
The five people I can look atthem, five main people you spend
most of your time with and Ican guarantee you I can get some
idea about where you are inyour life.
See, because when you'restriving to win, when you're
striving to build, when you'restriving to love yourself, to
evolve and to create a lifethat's fruitful, a life that's
filled with love, a life that'sfilled with joy, a life that's

(08:56):
filled with peace, a life that'sfilled with gratitude, you
don't just surround yourselfwith just anyone, you don't just
have conversations about justanything.
Everything starts to becomeintentional because you want to
create the life that you say youwant.
The next thing, too, is alsopaying attention to your belief
systems, because a lot of thetimes, people will say I believe
I'm powerful, I believe that Ihave the capacity to create my

(09:19):
own reality.
I believe that in every singlemoment, in every single breath,
I'm the author of my life andI'm creating every moment.
But do we truly believe that?
You might have theconceptualized idea that you are
these things, but your beliefsare seen through action, because
belief is an action word.
If I say I believe, it meansthat I am showing up in a way

(09:41):
that's in alignment with thatbelief.
You can have knowledge ofsomething and still not believe
it, and this is crazy, becausewe go through.
You see it religiously, you seeit professionally, you see it
personally on so many differentlevels, people saying they
recognize and they know thetruth.
I can't tell you how many timesand you've probably heard it
too where you're trying toexplain something to someone to
help them and they're like Iknow, I know, I already know all

(10:03):
this.
It's like you don't have aknowing.
You have the knowledge of, youhave the information to know
that it's possible, but youdon't have a deep soul.
You don't have that deep levelof awareness that drives you
every day to show up, to speakand to operate in a way that
creates change.
So if you're in that place thatI was speaking of earlier, where
you feel out of place, you feellike you're stuck, you feel

(10:25):
like life is stagnant, you feellike you don't fit in, your soul
is calling you to rise higher, and so, like I said, you got to
start asking deeper questions, questions such as why do I give
my power to these things.
What am I seeking?
Why am I still seekingvalidation?
Why am I still trying to fitinto things that I don't fit in?
Why am I not using my voice tospeak more powerfully over my
life?
Why am I not showing up in away to show that I truly love me

(10:49):
?
What am I choosing to believeinstead?
What stories am I tellingmyself that make me believe that
I can't do what others havedone?
What are the stories that I'mtelling myself that make me
believe I'm not ready to be whatI was born to be?
You got to start asking thequestions, and so, as you're
listening to, this should becomea daily practice.
This was something that Istarted early on, right after my

(11:10):
life changed at the age of 23.
I would always sit and I wouldmeditate and I would do the deep
observation, and then I wouldhave to take responsibility.
Princeton, you haven't beenshowing up this way.
You haven't been communicatingwhat you truly desire.
You've been complaining, youhaven't been taking action on
the things that you say you want.
So why are you upset?
And see, I had to take thatpersonal accountability.
I had to become responsible andintentional with my life,

(11:34):
because life is going to happento you based on you giving your
power away to the externals and,as a result, they become the
main leading factors guiding therelationships, guiding the
experiences, and so on and soforth in your life, or you can
create life as it's happeningNow.
Don't get me wrong Change isthe only constant and you can't
always change or control certainchanges that happen.

(11:57):
But you can always control howyou choose to respond to it, and
so your responsiveness is gonnabe everything.
Emotionally, we get overwhelmed, but this is where you gotta
develop emotional intelligenceso that you're not led by
emotion, because the thing aboutemotion and you've probably
heard me say this before emotionis just energy in motion.
Emotion is what happens basedon what you focus on.

(12:18):
When you focus on somethingnegative or focus on something
really positive, it puts energyinto motion in your body.
Another layer of that is whenyou judge or see things in a way
that you see them or deem themas unfair or not good, or bad or
wrong.
You now put that energy intomotion in your body and you

(12:38):
begin to judge it at a very deeplevel, and so that's what
you're feeling.
You're feeling that judgment, that disconnection, because
you're focusing on the wrongthing, and it takes less than a
millisecond for one negativethought or a positive thought to
become a snowball of negativeor positive thoughts.
And you have to exercise whatyou're giving your power to.
You can't just sit back and waitfor change to come.

(13:00):
You can't just sit back andwait for people to tell you
what's going to work for you orwhat's not going to work for you
, what you need to do or whatyou can't do.
And you got to decide everysingle day, because growth
happens on the other side offear, because fear just exposes
where we need to learn or wherewe get to learn.
And so if I feel fear in anarea, fear just lets me know my

(13:20):
brain is trying to quantify orqualify something that I haven't
experienced yet.
So my questions must be what amI being called to do or learn
in this area of my life?
And then, from there, you beginto diligently seek the
information for yourtransformation.
You begin to diligently seewhat is required in order for

(13:40):
you to manifest change ornewness in this area.
See, we've made fear thisnegative thing.
But what I always say is fearis an alarm system from my soul
letting me know that I'mbeginning to step into something
new, and I already know I can'ttrust my brain, because the
brain, if it hasn't experiencedit, it's going to go into the
remember when's or the what ifs, which means it's either going
to go into the past or it'sgoing to go into the future and

(14:03):
it's going to pull me out of thepresent.
Change happens when we areintentional in the present.
Positive creative force happensautomatically when we are
present and we are intentionalin our decision-making, our
thoughts and the way that wecommunicate in and around our
life, in and around ourrelationships, so on and so
forth.

(14:23):
And so I want to see you guyswin.
And there's so many differentways that I can say all these
things.
But the truth is, growth is nothard.
Growth is really simple.
It's just that we tellourselves it's hard because
we're so attached and this isanother layer we're so attached
to what has been, we're soattached to a former idea or
expectation that when life says,ok, it's time to grow in this

(14:46):
area, you've become stagnant inthis area, it's time to step
into something new.
We're so attached to thecomfort of what has been that we
don't let it go.
We're afraid to let it go.
We're so attached to our ownbelief systems and the
identities and the personas thatwe've created and the masks
that we've hid behind that wedon't let it go.
And, as a result, it said inDon Miguel Ruiz's book, the Five

(15:10):
Levels of Attachment, thatattachment is the source of all
pain.
It's the source of all pain andthat's where a lot of that
comes from.
But if I want to step intosomething new, I got to let go
of the weight, the thingsattaching me to where I am and
where I've been.
Otherwise, they're always goingto pull me back, they're always
going to put me in positionwhere I'm not fully operating at
my highest level.
Next thing, again, we talkedabout the circle that you're

(15:31):
around.
But beyond that, find someonewho can mentor you, find someone
who can coach you, who canguide you and vet them.
Don't just because you see apost.
I know there's a lot of peopleon social media now but I can
help you with this and I canhelp you with that.
But I always say you have tointerview the people you bring
into your life, because yourlife is sacred and you can't
just give that space to justanyone.
Vet them.

(15:51):
How long have they been doingwhat they do?
What experience do they have inovercoming it?
What results have they createdin their life as a result?
And really interview them.
What drives you, what is yourpurpose, what is your mission
behind what you do?
Really get to know them whenyou have consult calls.
Don't just get on there justtalking to them about your
problem.
You got to figure out and I'llsay this too if you start

(16:12):
looking for mentors excuse me,you need to go into it,
understanding that if yourequest a consult call, go in
ready to invest.
That way, if you are in aposition to work with someone,
you know that you're ready totake action.
One thing that I always say is,if you stay ready, you don't
have to get ready Initially.
There's books, there's podcasts, there's YouTube there's all

(16:34):
these different places.
You can find information, butalso become intentional about
where you're putting yourfinances, because something I'll
hear clients say sometimes, orpotential clients, is I don't
have the money and I'll say okay, let's look at where you are.
How much money are you spendingon streaming channels?
How much money are you spendingon eating out?
How much money are you spendingon other negative habits?
How much money are you spendingon other things that are not

(16:56):
necessity but they're more wants.
If you were to go into yourbank account right now and look
at the graph for where yourspending is, how much of what
you're spending is going towardswhat you want and how much did
you spend in a month on thingsthat you need, and then compare
and then, in the space of thewants, the entertainment and all
this other stuff, ask yourselfhow much of this could I save

(17:18):
each month if I just canceled itwhile I focus on my growth?
It doesn't mean you have to stopit altogether, depending on
what it is Now.
If it's an unhealthy habit, yeah, you definitely want to
work on stopping that.
But if it's just somethingthat's distracting you or
something that's not adding toyour life, it's not adding any
value to your physical growth, your mental growth, your
emotional growth and yourspiritual growth, then you need

(17:39):
to start cycling out of thatanyway, because those are all
distractions that are going tokeep you where you are.
And then, as you look at that, you may say, ok, maybe you're
only in a place where, ok, I'dsave $100 a month.
Maybe you'd say, man, I'd savea couple thousand dollars a
month.
Ok, whatever that is, look athow much you could potentially
save and over the course of thenext month, while you're reading
the books, watching the YouTube, but still working to seek a

(18:02):
mentor or find a mentor or coachthat can work with you start
inquiring.
Start looking at how muchdifferent programs cost.
See if there's mentorshipprograms versus one-on-one
programs.
See if they have any trainingprograms or workshops that you
can purchase as one-offs.
There's always a way.
It's like the old saying wherethere's a will, there's a way,

(18:23):
but do you have the will to doit?
Do you have the will to replaceall the things that don't serve
you with all the things that dodeserve you?
And from there again, this hasbeen important in every area of
your life.
We must be intentional.
I can't tell you how many timesI've had people reach out to me
and say, hey, I really want towork with a coach and mentor.
Financially, I just don't haveit right now.

(18:43):
Ok, what was the point in theconsult?
See, I need you to beintentional and this is why I
always say I don't work withjust anyone.
I'm not that person you come to, that guide, that mentor that
you come to, who's just going topat you on the back and
congratulate you for playingsmall or give you baby step
lessons in a way that it keepsyou stagnant.
So you keep paying me as acoach.

(19:04):
No, I'm the coach you come to,I'm the guide you come to, as I
always tell my potential clients, that's going to kick you off
the cliff so that you can formyour divine wings and fly to be
the most powerful version ofyourself, tapping into the
deepest level of your potentialand to give birth to the purpose
that you were wired to.
Purpose or, excuse me, wired togive birth to See.

(19:24):
You are so powerful and, like Isaid, no matter what state
you're in, you're powerful.
So if you are in a weak state, you're powerfully in a weak
state and you're going topowerfully create more weak
experiences.
But if you're powerfully movingin a positive state, then
you're going to powerfullycreate positive results,
positive relationships, positivegrowth, positive change.
But you have to be intentionalabout this.

(19:45):
This is your life and you onlyget this one to be this version
of you that you get to create.
And so if you want to seechange in your life, you must be
the change in your life thatyou want to see, and I know that
this can be challenging.
Maybe you've been growingthrough a phase in your life
where you're saying I reallywant to grow, I'm struggling
with my mindset, or I'mstruggling with manifesting the

(20:06):
vision that I want to manifest,I'm struggling with being
present.
I'm struggling with thesedifferent things and I feel like
I just need to be reset.
I need to be in a space where Ican learn and where I can grow.
If that's you, I'm going toopen this opportunity right now.
In 26 more days I'm going to behosting another mentorship
program Now.
Normally it's $3.95 to be apart of the Master Reboot

(20:28):
mentorship program, but rightnow, if you join my private
Facebook community, if you wantthat information, feel free to
reach out to me on Instagram atPrinceton Clark, or you can go
through my website atprincetonclarkcom and you can
fill out the little form, thelittle pop-up.
Give me your information andjust say Facebook community and

(20:48):
you can join from there.
But if you want to be a part ofmy community, you can do so by
just becoming a part of theprogram.
But in doing so right now, ifyou use the code REBOOTNOW in
all caps REBOOTNOWR-E-B-O-O-T-N-O-W, rebootnow
when to the Master RebootTraining, I'll send you the link

(21:09):
.
The link should be in the shownotes.
You guys can just go there andyou guys can apply Right now.
If you use Reboot Now as thediscount code, you'll get 50%
off.
It's originally $3.95.
Right now you can get 50% offand there's also payment options
, so you can do two payments andsplit the deal that way as well
, and the 50% off also appliesto the two payment option.

(21:32):
So I'm creating ways and I'mlooking to build my community
and elevate it with people whoare ready to step forward, with
people who are ready to stepinto their power and who are
ready to really grow and find atribe that's going to speak over
them, speak into them, challenge them but, more than
anything, love them through theprocess, because we, as
spiritual beings, were notcreated to do this alone.
We were created to do ittogether.

(21:54):
We were created to thrive.
We were created to function asa tribe, not as independent
individuals doing life alone, and I know that's a big struggle
for a lot of you too.
You're tired of doing it alone.
You don't have people aroundyou.
In my community, once a month,I do a free Zoom call that you
guys can join, and I may evenstart doing more than that, but

(22:17):
I want to see you guys grow.
I want to see you guys evolve.
But understand that with growththere must be intentionality,
there must be accountability andthere must be responsibility
taken in order to be fullyintentional in how you're
showing up.
So ask the deeper questions whyam I choosing to be where I am?
Because, first, you have toacknowledge that you are
choosing to be where you are bythe decisions, by the thoughts,

(22:38):
by the actions and words thatyou take over your life.
You are using your power tocreate that reality.
And so that you take over yourlife, you are using your power
to create that reality.
And so, if you want to grow, youwant to develop that spiritual
muscle, mental muscle, emotionalmuscle, physical muscle.
You got to exercise new habits.
You got to exercise new skills, develop new skills.
You have to learn more.
You got to get around peoplewho are having the right
conversations, who are going toencourage you.

(22:59):
You got to start growing in away that's going to push you
into being that version of youthat's going to shed off the old
that no longer serves you.
You got to start giving yourbrain new information to work
with, otherwise, it's programmedto only play or understand life
through the framework of theinformation you have up to this
point.

(23:19):
And so step through the fear.
Fear is just an alarm systemfrom your soul showing you're
ready to step into something new.
But in order to step through, fear on the other side is
learning.
So what must I learn to bebetter in this area?
What information do I lackthat's thriving in relationships
, so on and so forth.
How is that version of meshowing up, that this current
version of me is not showing up?
How can I bring his or herhabits into this present moment

(23:50):
and start applying them now?
How are they waking up everysingle day?
How are they communicating?
How are they being intentionalin how they create their friend
circle?
How are they being intentionalin how they date?
How are they being intentionalin how they build their business
or develop the vision for theirlife?
And based on whatever you canperceive, because your soul
always knows, all theinformation you need is in you.

(24:11):
You just got to start askingthe right questions, and then
you got to start takingresponsibility and
accountability, and then you gotto start taking intentional
steps, intentional action, inorder to get the results,
because life is going to keepchanging.
Change is the only constant andhow you respond to change is
going to determine what youmanifest through change.
But you are the change you'vebeen waiting to see and you must

(24:32):
choose to be it.
Listen, guys, I appreciate youguys for tuning in.

(25:37):
heal completely and how to stepinto that version of them that
they are called to be.
And I'm really excited to havea partner that's really in this
with me, who has done the work, who's grown through a lot of
trauma, who's grown through alot of professional challenges,
evolved to do really wellworking in the corporate space,

You are an original blueprint.
So show the world just howamazing you are.
Show you, above all else, howamazing you are.
Show you, above all else, howamazing you are Because you only

(27:04):
have two purposes in this lifeTo meet yourself at the deepest
level, to be the highest versionof you that's possible through
your own power and intention.
And then the second purpose isto take the wisdom gained as you
continue that journey and toinfuse that wisdom purposefully,
serve it through others, serveit through your businesses,
serve it through your businesses, serve it through your

(27:25):
relationships, serve it throughyour connections and the
different skills and gifts thatyou have to show other people,
because every gift, every job orbusiness or relationship is a
doorway into lives, into thelives of people that you
otherwise wouldn't have met.
So you're taking the power ofyou and infusing it into every
part of your life to be thechange you want to see in the
