There are different ways to look at failure. There are self-destructive and constructive ways to cope with failure.

Failure is common. It affected most people at some point. The difference between losers and survivors is how they responded to failure.

Yes, failure is painful, shameful, and humbling. Yes, it involves mourning, feeling sorry for yourself, and recovery time.

Change your perception of failure! Every adverse life event has an immediate and long-term impact. The immediate impact of a failure is negative. The long-term impact is usually positive! How come? Because a failure is in some way a slap on the face. The normal human reaction to being wronged is to become more motivated, more determined, more resilient, and better prepared. Losers become winners in the process of overcoming failure.

Listen to the Evolving Show podcast How To Cope With Failure, it will change your perspective. The day will come when you’ll look back at today and credit your current failure for leading you to success.
