The topic of controlled population growth is taboo. In the climate change era, it should be a matter of common sense.
The Earth has limits. Sustaining a constantly growing population depletes natural resources, destroys biodiversity and the natural environment, increases carbon emissions, and accelerates climate change. Uncontrolled population growth will lead to famine, climate change-driven mass migrations, and political conflicts, and eventually, make the Earth uninhabitable.
