Whether it’s looking for a chair to sit, getting in your car to pop around to the shop that is 5 minutes away or constantly being at the same temperature. You are telling your body and mind that it is ok to be soft.
That it does not need to turn on the adaptive genes that lie dormant with in you. That the potential that you have is nothing more than potential.
But how does that impact the aging process? By constantly regulating the environment around you, you are not becoming its master but rather a slave to comfort.
Therefore when nature ultimately takes back its power you will be left in the dark and cold without the ability to adapt.
Put yourself in circumstances that will push you to embrace the adaptive process and become more than what you can be.
