In this short BONUS episode of The Executive Hustle Podcast, Kirsten introduces the three areas every leader must master.

Three simple areas. Yet as we know, simple isn’t always easy, but we must start somewhere.

Great leaders master 3 areas:

1.     Leading things: numbers, process, outcomes, systems; they get ‘stuff’ done.

2.     Leading others: whether you have one direct report or scaffolds of teams; they lead others.

And finally,

3.     Leading yourself: Your most difficult employee – is you.

Listen to find out how you can level up your leadership IQ for yourself and for your organization.

If you are responsible for leadership development within your company, pay special attention to the section about accidental and intentional leadership development.

----Additional Resources----

The three ingredients for intentional leadership culture include:

1.     Leadership Domains – there are leading things, leading others, and leading yourself.

2.     Competencies/skills –  under each domain there are specific (and often overlapping) competencies and skills (the specific things we do, we get good at, we become fluent in) that help us excel in a particular domain.

3.     And underneath all of these are our principles.  Your leadership principles.  The beliefs you hold about how you lead. Specifically leading At “THIS” company.
