[GUEST BIO] Kari Gearhart Kari Gearhart is a learning & development professional with a lifelong passion for staying fit and healthy. Early in her career, she worked as a Registered Dietician in various healthcare settings and became more passionate about how lifestyle choices make a difference in determining a person’s quality of life. She completed her master's in exercise physiology and is a certified positive psychology practitioner. She’s led training & development functions in three large healthcare corporations for 25 years and is recognized as a catalyst for guiding leaders toward reaching their full potential. In 2016, Kari established her company, The Performance Bridge, where she offers her services as a skilled workshop facilitator. She credits many aspects of her career success to lessons she learned through participating in triathlons for more than 20 years. This experience inspired her to create a highly rated program called Fit to Lead™ and a recently published book - REACH – Using Fitness to Grow Your Leadership, both co-developed and co-authored with Ashley Tappan. The program and book focus on using fitness as a forum for growing leadership capabilities.
