This week I’m talking to my friend and colleague Dr. Dominic Corva who is the Director of the new Cannabis Studies degree at Cal Poly Humboldt. His professional expertise is in geography and drug policy, so we cover a ton interesting topics today including the role of surfers in globalizing (or smuggling) weed across the world and the policies that restricted funding research on the benefits of cannabis. He also talks more about the cannabis studies undergraduate program now in its first semester at Cal Poly Humboldt and an interdisciplinary grant he's working on with a great team investigating the legacy genetics of cannabis and the stories of the people behind the weed in California.
