Revelation 22:6-7 covers the topic of "The Nature of Revelation." This section starts the epilogue, or final section of Revelation. And here, we are working with the idea thatwe ought to be encouraged when we read Revelation!What would cause us to be encouraged? There are four encouraging factors in this section that steer us toward that end.
In v. 6a we noted first 1) An Angelic Declaration.
Then, in v. 6b we saw 2) An Angelic Revelation.
Now, in v. 7a we consider 3) A Divine Assurance.
And finally, in v. 7b we see 4) A Divine Promise.
